As Alex delved deeper into understanding laws, his main awareness kept the void creatures engaged.

He avoided direct confrontations as much as possible, mostly relying on his light, telekinetic, space and fla abilities.

He would conjure light spears, controlling them remotely to assault the creature. He dealt heavy damage to the creature, yet it would still co at him with full force.

Alex would mostly execute spatial shifts whenever the void creature fired a stream of blank essence at him.

It was a repetitive back and forth as they were matched. Yet, none could deal any lasting damage.

Inside his inner realm, Alex's awareness studied his universe with a profound light in his eyes.

'This place mirrors my universe with the exception of the veil tears and other sses.' Alex mused. 'And from what Elina said, I can do anything I set my mind to.

'That ans I have the universe in the palm of my hands, however, having it without understanding its building blocks would be useless.'

First, Alex studied the surrounding space. Matter needed sothing to 'stand' on and that was space.

This was the easy part as he had an affinity for it. As he delved deeper, he studied the particles that makeup matter, breaking it down to their most basic forms.

He put them back together like Lego bricks, gaining deeper insights into how matter was conjured.

Law of space… Law of elents… Law of matter… It was all grasped.

The elental laws were easy to grasp. Anything Alex put his mind to, he could conjure out of thin air, and at the sa ti, transform existing concepts by tweaking the existing laws, taking out so while adding new ones.

'But to defeat the void creature, I would need to understand how it was put together.' The main awareness' eyes shone brightly for a brief mont. 'Study the makeup of the void creature.'

His goal was to broaden his understanding of the laws and he achieved most of it. If he had to estimate, it would probably be around 80%.

Yes, he was that fast. With everything dialled up in him, learning and grasping things had never been difficult. It was like there was no such thing as a barrier.

Alex had so guesses for the remaining 20% per cent, and this was probably what he needed to grasp to heal his hand.

He didn't know how long it took, then again, his sense of ti was skewed. With that knowledge, Alex's perception of a lot of things changed.

Alex continued to exchange black essence with his abilities, this ti, focusing on the creature's body.

Unlike normal matter, including living beings, the void creatures were different. They were creatures of energy without the laws of 'life'. That was, they didn't have the genetic material, cells… everything that defined a living organism.

While the fight continued, Alex's eyes shone brightly as he studied the creature's makeup.

'It's basically an energy being with mana built on a void energy foundation. Most of what makes a living entity 'living' is missing in the creature.

'The core elent is not part of nature, but sothing entirely different. Yet it has parts that mimic what we humans have.' Alex hadn't grasped that 20% yet, but he knew enough for now.

Understanding how the energies were put together to build the creature, Alex put forth his theory and as usual, void energy was the key.

'Ti to unravel it from creation.' Alex thought resolutely as his deanour changed.

Then, he stopped moving.

The creature noticed this but ignored it. It had gone mad for so ti now as Alex continued to dodge its assaults instead of actively engaging it like the others did.

SCREECH…!!!

Abruptly, the void creature appeared right above him, its black essence claw raging towards him.

With a calm smile, Alex sidestepped the strike and closed in to capitalize on the created opening.

His right hand glimred with void energy as he delivered a palm strike to the creature's abdon.

BOOOM…!!!

The force of the strike dispelled the surrounding chaotic energies from the creature's back as it bent inward before being hurled light years away.

'Not yet!' Alex bellowed inwardly and went after the creature, instantly appearing behind it.

He knew that strike failed to achieve the results he wanted, but it was still effective as the creature spewed a mouth full of blood.

CRACK…!!!

The second palm strike broke the creature into two and had the results Alex expected.

As the palm made contact with the void creature, Alex interphased with the fundantal building blocks of the creature.

He couldn't do it at a distance, not yet, but with this, he unravelled the intricate makeup of the creature, instantly obliviating that part of the creature.

And that portion of the creature was gone. It wasn't coming back.

However, the physical might behind the strike was what dealt massive damage and sent the creature flying.

'It's similar to the first damage I received that nearly killed .' Alex noted the similarities. 'At the sa ti, it's different from that black essence.'

Alex still could not see through what that black essence was. It was almost as if it wasn't ant for him or anyone to grasp for that matter.

SCREECH…!!!

The creature screeched in agony as Alex continued to break it down faster than it could react. The majority of its upper body was gone, continually weakening it.

Finally, Alex targeted its hands, separating them from the shoulders. Without its arms, the creature was helpless.

It was done for.

With every strike, Alex beca more proficient in dealing obliviating damages.

However, it wouldn't go down easily. For the first ti, it had encountered a chosen one it couldn't kill.

Alexander was too cautious. He didn't blindly go in out of confidence and stayed away from the creature, biding his ti as he grew stronger. Experience tales with My Virtual Library Empire

Alex's instincts kicked in when he sensed danger and backed off without hesitation.

At the sa ti, the void creature let out another screech of agony as it unleashed the black essence from its body.

It spread out in a spherical burst, instantly covering many light years. Unlike the essence it gathered on its claws for attacks, the burst was far more sinister and foreboding.

'I would have been instantly erased.' Alex gulped from thousands of light years away. 'In any case, that thing can't regenerate what it doesn't have.'

He stared at his own cut hand in thought before turning to look at the creature bleeding and writhing in agony.

'Ti to end this…'
