The following day at the arena.
The five eyed each other, ready to fight.
The gong was hit five tis and the battle begin.
Sylvia was watching her three opponents, then suddenly Uter threw a powder into her eyes at lightning speed and she was blinded for a mont, it was so sudden she wasn't able to avoid it... the mont her vision was back, she didn't expect that the three n will corner her lover.
Zalvo fought the three n valiantly, but he was overpowered, the three n's spears and swords cut through his body, delivering the final blow. Sylvia scread in fury after seeing her beloved Zalvo lying on the ground, dying, she unleash dust particles into the n's eyes to keep them at bay and rushed to her lover's side.
She just managed to arrive at his side when he took his final breath and spoke in a low voice, "See you in the other side," he said with a smile and finally died in her arms.
Sylvia scread in anguish upon witnessing the passing of her lover, tears flooded her eyes and face. She grabbed Zalvo's weapon and stabbed herself in the stomach as an act of suicide.
A few minutes later, Sylvia lay dead on the ground beside her lover.
The crowd gasped in shock.
The whole arena was plunged in silence, they were able to witness the tragic end of Sylvia and her lover.
The deafening silence lasted for a few minutes.
Rades was fully satisfied with the heartbreaking tragedy that he witnessed in the arena. He rose to his feet and announced the winners. "The tournant is officially over! Let's welco the future custodians of the Kingdom of The Dead! The brave and triumphant n, the best among the rest! Congratulations, Docor, hos and Uter for winning the tournant!" he said. His congratulatory voice echoed around the arena.
The crowd erupted in a deafening cheer.
A mont later.
The guard brought the bodies of Sylvia and Zalvo back into the holding area of the arena.
A man in a black cape approached them. "Order by his highness Rades, bring the bodies into the reincarnation room!" he said.
The n nodded their heads and obeyed the order.
When they reached the reincarnation room and delivered the dead bodies, his highness Rades was already waiting for them inside.
"Your highness!" The n bowed their heads in respect to their supre master.
"You may leave now!" Rades ordered.
The n took their leave.
Rades looked at the bodies and smiled. "Fair enough! You guy impressed , especially you, Sylvia! I'll send you now back to the land of the living and you will reincarnated as vampire babies in the wombs of the two pregnant won that are neighbors. In your next life I will grant you two a happy ending," he said.
Rades waved his right hand, the souls left the temporary bodies and entered the reincarnation portal, going to the land of the living.

Back at present.
hos grabbed Sylvia's hands and put them in his, intertwining their hands. It's sothing that he dread of doing 500 years ago but failed to do so because she chose to die with her lover Zalvo and reincarnated over and over again into the land of the living. He didn't expect that their path will cross again, and now it's finally happening!
His face brightened with elation.
He was thinking about where to hide Sylvia so that she will never disappear from his eyes ever again.
He already had a perfect place to hide her.
A few minutes later, they vanished from the room.
hos brought Sylvia into his secret room. No one would dare find her in this room. He removed the necklace given by Docor that she uses as her pass to enter the towers. He needs it for his plan.
He spent the next hour making a solid plan in his mind.
Satisfied with his plan, it's about ti to put them into action!
He sealed his room and left.
One hour later.
Sylvia erged from one of the rooms, escorted by the custodian's assistant. They walked towards the room where her escort was currently staying.
The assistant opened the door and motioned for the escort to leave the room. "The lady is leaving the Soul Mast Tower and going to the next tower," she said.
"Okay. Let's go, my lady," the escort said.
Sylvia and her escort left the Soul Mast Tower and boarded their chariot.
The chariot left the tower heading to the Pinnacle Tower.
The custodian and his assistant watched the chariot fade away from their vision.
A smile appeared on hos's lips.
The chariot was already out of the jurisdiction of the Soul Mast Tower.

On the way to Pinnacle Tower.
Suddenly the sky darkened and a black mist enveloped the chariot, the horses were no longer moving, frozen in ti.
Sylvia and her escort looked at each other in alarm.
The escort knows too well what's going to happen next, it's an ambush! He readies his sword for a fight.
Six black shadows arrived, four of them attack the escort at the sa ti and stabbed him with their swords, while the other two grabbed Sylvia and they all disappeared from the area.
The escort fell from the chariot, lying on the ground, gravely wounded. He sent a distress signal hoping that so of his comrades are patrolling the area. The light signal burst into the sky, and he lost consciousness.
A few minutes later.
So of Docor's n patrolling near the area saw the distress signal and rushed to the area.
They saw the chariot and the horses frozen in ti, while one of their comrades was lying on the ground, wounded and unconscious. They know that a special visitor of the custodian was boarding the chariot.
"Where is the lady?" asked one of them.
"She's probably abducted by the black shadows!" soone answered.
"Okay, let's bring the chariot back to our headquarter and report this incident to the custodian!" the leader said.
A few minutes later, the rescue party arrived at the headquarter of Custodian Docor.
Docor looked at the leader of the patrol groups. "Speak!"
"My lord, we were patrolling the area when we saw a distress signal in the sky. We rushed to the area and found the chariot and the horses frozen in ti. The escort was lying on the ground, wounded. But we didn't see the lady, she's gone!" the leader reported.
"Whaaaat!?" Docor's eyes widened in alarm. "Who do you think did it?"
"I think it's the rebels! They're the one who abducted your special guest, my lord!" the leader answered.
Docor's eyes narrowed in anger. "Whoever did this to my special guest will pay dearly!" he said. "How about her escort?" asked.
The physician was currently attending to his wounds, my lord. He's still unconscious at this mont," the leader replied.
"Inform if he is already conscious. I need to ask him many questions," Docor said and dismissed him.
"Yes, my lord!" the leader said and left the room.
Docor was wondering how they were ambushed? And did they arrive at the Soul Mast Tower before the ambush? Or they were ambushed on the way to the tower?
He has lots of questions swirling in his mind, he is impatient and he needs answers fast!
But whom to ask?
Hmm, maybe he needs to pay a visit to his old friend, the custodian of the Soul Mast Tower, and ask him directly if Sylvia had arrived at his tower since the three of them shared an old history together, he will surely cooperate with the investigation.
Why not?
Nothing to lose!
He vanished from the room going to the Soul Mast Tower.
When Docor appeared at the Soul Mast Tower, inside the reception room reserved for the VIPs, the assistant was the only one there.
"My lord! Nice to see you again! What can I do for you?" the assistant said. She was already briefed by her lord that sooner or later, Custodian Docor will visit the tower to investigate.
"Is Custodian hos here?" Docor inquired. He seldom cos here to visit his friend, only on so important occasion. And most of the ti, he will brag to hos every ti Sylvia will visit the netherworld for so personal errand of hers and co to see him. And every ti that happens, he loves seeing the envy and jealousy flashing in hos eyes.
Well, Sylvia and hos were close to each other in the past. He used to envy their close relationship and nursed the pain in his heart secretly. Then Zalvo cos, his jealousy intensifies, but then everything was cut short after the tournant because the lovers died, both gone from the netherworld.
"My lord, Custodian hos was currently having an important trip to other realms," the assistant said.
"Oh, I co at a wrong ti then," Docor said.
"How may I help you, my lord?" the assistant asked.
Docor looked the assistant in the eye. "I just want to ask if you have received my special guest, a beautiful lady with her escort, they co here in a chariot. They're here to ask about a specific soul," he explained.
The assistant shook her head. "I'm sorry, my lord. We haven't received such kind of visitor lately."
Docor studied the assistant's face, he can't read any emotion on her face. Therefore he can't predict if she's lying or not. "Are you sure?" he asked again, wanting to know if she's telling the truth or not.
"Yes, my lord. Nothing escapes my eyes in this place. Everyone reports to , and I also report everything to my lord," the assistant said.
"Alright, I'll take my leave now. If hos returned, inform him that I co here for a visit. I might co back again to ask him so questions," Docor said.
"I will, my lord!" the assistant replied.
"I'll take my leave now," Docor said and vanished from the room.
The assistant released a sigh of relief and left the room.
A few monts later.
Docor was back in his place.
His silence was disturbed when one of his n barged into the room. "My lord, I want to report sothing..." he said.
"Spill!" Docor's said.
"The physician told that he failed to save the life of the escort, he's already dead!" the guy said.
Docor's hands ford into a fist. He looked at his guy, his nostrils flaring due to anger. "Take to the chariot, now!" he ordered.
"Yes, my lord. Please follow ," the guy said.
The two n left the room and went outside to check the chariot.
