Chapter 62: Not to help your evil sister

"I don’t think I can help in this, Mother-in-law. You should ask her in-laws to take the help of the police. Vampires don’t get involved in the matters of the humans," Magnus reminded Rhea, refusing to help her.

Alora, who had heard the entire conversation approached Magnus and asked him not to say so. "My sister has disappeared. How could His Highness take it so lightly?" she complained.

"Do you think Venus is worthy of my help?" Magnus asked and walked inside, showing his non-caring attitude.

"Why is His Highness so angry with Venus?" Rhea asked Alora.

"Mother, I’ll convince him. Please stay with Grandma. She must be worried," Alora said. Rhea nodded at her and left while Alora walked into the room, removing her blindfold.

"No, Love. I am not interested in hearing from you to find Venus." Magnus refused to give any kind of help.

"But she is my sister. What if it is related to the werewolves? We have to save her," Alora opined. She rushed to the bed and sat in front of Magnus while holding his arm affectionately.

"No, Alora. You cannot use your charm on

to make

find Venus. Moreover, if she is a werewolf and has entered such a pack, then I’ve no right to interfere because there are certain rules set between us," Magnus explained to her.

"But you are a prince. What rules can stop you? And you always say Magnus doesn’t follow rules. He works according to his will," Alora reminded him.

"And my will is not to help your evil sister," Magnus said.

"Why is His Highness making

upset with his remarks?" Alora hit his arm lightly. "I will ask Brother Izaak and Brother Alaric to help . They are my friends," she murmured and stood up.

However, Magnus pulled her down. "They won’t help either. We don’t want troubles to be involved with the werewolves," he explained.

"What if my sister hasn’t turned yet?" Alora asked him. "We can save her," she opined.

"Don’t you rember why she agreed to marry into that family even after knowing the truth? Because she wants to be a supernatural being and be better than you. Venus’s disappearance shouldn’t bother you given the fact that how she wanted you to..." Magnus paused as he couldn’t finish off his sentence.

"Your Highness, whatever she did to

was because of my eyes. She got rejected by many just because I was her older sister. Please, don’t do this. I beg you," Alora pleaded this ti as she grabbed Magnus’s hands.

He rolled his eyes, seeing how Alora loved her sister despite Venus hated her. "You didn’t have to beg

for her. I don’t like it," Magnus stated.

"Then, will you find her?" Alora inquired.

"I have to since you want

to. Can I ever refuse you?" He chuckled.

A smile tugged on Alora’s lips as she thanked him. "Shall I accompany you too?" she inquired.

"No. You should stay here with your family," Magnus stated.

"But that will worry

more. I am concerned about you too," Alora murmured.

"Then, you won’t keep the blindfold on your eyes. If you agree to my condition, you are welco to accompany ," Magnus pronounced.

Alora contemplated for a few seconds before agreeing with him. "We shall hurry," she said and the two stood up. They both ca to the living room of the house, where Madam Aubrey was crying for Venus. Rhea had been consoling her when she spotted the prince.

"Because Alora wants

to find her sister, so we will go to Venus’ in-laws’ house," Magnus asserted. Promptly, Madam Aubrey stopped weeping and he left her seat along with Rhea.

"I’ll always be grateful to Prince Magnus if he finds my granddaughter," Madam Aubrey stated while joining her hands.

Magnus didn’t trust her words and told her to send soone with the coachman, who could tell us about the place, where Venus lived.

"Sure, I will send Peter with you," Rhea said. "Alora, you should stay here," she then suggested.

"Let Alora accompany . I may need her eyes," Magnus told Rhea and walked outside with her.

Rhea instructed Peter to lead the direction while Magnus and Alora were seated in the coach. She was trembling in fear, thinking where Venus could possibly disappear.

"Mother, we will find out about Venus soon," Alora assured her while keeping her gaze low. She decided to keep a secret from her mother about Venus being married to a werewolf.

"Hmm."

Magnus and Alora got into the coach, which the coachman closed from the outside. As he drove it ahead, Rhea went inside her house.

"I won’t kill anyone with my eyes," Alora clarified to Magnus.

"Why do you think I’ll ask you to kill anyone?" He questioned her. "You have to control Venus if she has turned into a werewolf," Magnus opined.

"I cannot look into anyone’s eyes, except yours. Also, we don’t know yet if she has turned or not." She still believed that Venus would never choose to be a werewolf just because she wanted so supernatural abilities.

"A unification ritual is a must among the werewolves. I do think she is converted into a werewolf by her husband," Magnus pronounced.

"A unification ritual?" Alora arched her brows.

"Yes. A werewolf marks his mate and claims her as his other half," Magnus replied.

"I hope it is not true," she mumbled.

"Alora, I won’t do anything if the werewolves ask

to step back because we have set boundaries. I cannot let chaos happen between the two species. If Venus has not turned, then it’s good. However, if I find out that she is already a werewolf, then I will do nothing to save her," Magnus cleared to his wife.

She felt worried to hear that. "I hope Venus hasn’t chosen the life of a werewolf," Alora said.

"The problem is that Venus is greedy. Your choices never mattered to her. You have to live for yourself, not for the others. Because of you, I’m forced to live for the others instead of us," Magnus asserted.
