Are you sure you should be doing this?" Sabrina said with a smirk. "You'll regret it."

"Try it," Erick spat out. There was a glint in his eyes as he stared at her.

Sabrina's expression faltered for a millisecond and she wondered if he pushed him too hard but she imdiately covered it up. Still, she could tell that sothing wasn't right. She was missing sothing.

"You don't care that I'll inform The Primus of your plan for the human. Haven't you gotten a little audacious?" Sabrina asked, pushing against his hand that was still around her neck.

"Do whatever you want but it won't help your case," Erick sneered. "It wouldn't make you more desirable to him," Erick sneered.

"You think that's what this is about?" She asked.

"I don't care what this is about. Tell the primus but one thing is for sure, I wouldn't have any reason to hold back anymore."

"Just like you wanted to go after the human princess." Sabrina snickered. "You really don't know how to solve anything without going hostile or being violent."

Erick slowly let go of her neck. "That's what you think. Well, go on then. His room is just up the stairs, tell him." He took a step back to give her enough space to go up the stairs.

Lady Sabrina arched her head to the side as she rubbed her neck, studying Erick with a weird expression on her face.

"Do you know sothing?" She asked with a peering gaze.

"What? Sad that your little edge over isn't working anymore and now you need sothing more?"

"You jumped whenever I brought it up but now you seem unfazed, what changed?" Sabrina asked, taking a step toward him. "Don't give so bullshit."

Erick stared at her, "Don't be delusional. I have no intention of being under your palm."

This was only partly true, Erick knew with the turn of events there was no way he would get out of this without facing so repercussions. However, he was willing to see just how far the Primus might take this.

"You're not that smart, Erick. What's changed? Does this have anything to do with Danag's demotion?"

Erick's nostrils flared, "Sabrina, you should know talking down on wouldn't make more agreeable and since I really want to get back at you, I'd advise you not to do that."

"Is that a threat, Erick? As you threatened the human."

Erick groaned, at this point, it was pretty obvious that Sabrina was just trying to get on his nerves. He couldn't believe he had allowed her to get under his skin in the first place. That was about to change.

"Do what you want, Sabrina." He said and took a step forward. "I will do what I can and stay away from . I don't know what your ga is but count out of it."

"Erick," she called but he ignored her and kept walking.

She didn't go after him, sohow she could tell it wasn't a good idea to do so.

Mauve walked into Jael's room and felt her shoulders fall. She was exhausted and just wanted to fall asleep. However, she would have to take off this dress and there was no way she could do it by herself. She had wanted to go to her room first but Jael had refused.

The eting with the guards had only taken a few minutes. He simply gave the announcent and that was it. She had heard the gasps but nobody had questioned it and she wondered if she could.

She had been absolutely shocked when she heard it at the dining table. Danag's expression had been hard to read but she could tell from Erick's reaction that Jael's reason for that wasn't good enough.

She wondered if it had anything to do with the letter and Danag's persistence about it. As curious as she was she knew she would be able to get her answer and the fact that Danag wasn't putting up a fight must an sothing.

She had seen how angry he was at Danag but surely whatever the issue was, this punishnt was severe, she didn't think he deserved it.

The door closed as soon as she walked in. However, she was so engrossed in her thought that she didn't realize he had stopped walking and bumped into his back.

"Sorry," she mumbled, raising her head.

Jasl didn't respond, instead, he let go of her hand and slowly turned around. Mauve frowned slightly as she rubbed her forehead wondering what was wrong.

It was too dark to see his face but she got a flash of his eyes and she could see them glowing. He took a step forward and she was forced to take a step back.

"Is sothing wrong?" She asked with a concerned expression.

He didn't say a word instead, he took another step back and Mauve instinctively took another back until she was against the door.

He imdiately closed the gap between them, lifted his hand to face, lifted her chin a little more, and caressed her lower lip with his thumb. Mauve shivered slightly as his cold thumb touched her soft lips.

His eyes held her gaze and Mauve's breath caught in her throat. Her stomach suddenly felt warm at the thought of what would happen.

Her lips instinctively parted and her eyes slowly closed. She saw a flash of fangs as Jael smirked but before she could say register it, he brought his head down and captured her lips.

Mauve took a deep breath with her nose as their lips t. It was a slow kiss, Jael took his ti to caress her lips with his. Softly sucking on them before he pushed his tongue into her mouth.

He set a pace for her and she easily followed him. Feeling her body slowly heat up against him. Her arms lifted of their own accord and she wrapped them around him.

He pressed her against him and Mauve felt a jolt through her body. She grabbed his shirt tightly wanting to touch his body, the slow pace was killing her.

Suddenly, she felt him pull on her dress and Mauve imdiately broke the kiss. "I like this dress," she yelled out, panting as though she had run a marathon.

There was a second of silence and then Jael snickered. "I know," he said with amusent in his voice. "I like it too."

As he spoke, his fingers rested on the low neckline and gently ran his fingers over the exposed skin. Mauve blushed and closed her eyes against the sensation of his fingers on her skin.

She looked away from him, "I was afraid you were going to rip it."

"It was the right call," he said and lifted her chin. "I definitely would have ripped it. I still want to."

As he spoke, she felt his gaze run down her entire body before coming back to rest on her face.

"Don't," she said with a small pout.

"I won't," he replied. "Now, let's get you out of the dress."

"You don't have to," she said looking up at him. It was a little annoying that she could see his expression. "Mill will help ."

Mauve could see his expression but sohow she could tell he frowned at her words.

"Surely you jest," he said and lifted her onto his arms. Mauve squealed as she was lifted into the air.

"Do you know how many tis I have pictured myself ripping the clothes off your body and you think I will let Mill undress you."

Mauve imdiately covered her face as it was red and burning. "You don't have to say it."

He picked up the pace and got to the side of the bed. He sat down and carefully placed her on the ground.

"Turn around," he ordered.

Mauve nodded, the candlelight but the bedside table was bright enough and it didn't look like it had been burning for long. Mauve wondered if a servant had brought it in before they ca in.

She could finally see Jael's face. His expression made her excited, he looked like he couldn't wait. His eyes glowed brightly. She blushed so more and slowly turned around.

He carefully lifted his hand and moved her hair to the side. She grabbed onto her hair to hold it so it wouldn't fall back. She felt his hand move to her back to undo the ropes.

Instead of undoing the imdiately, Jael traced her skin through the clothes. It was thin enough for her to feel his finger moving slowly against her. Mauve found it hard to breathe with his how slowly Jael was taking his ti.

He finally pulled on the ropes and Mauve sighed as air went easily through her lungs. Jael grabbed her waist and it took her everything not to jump

"Was it really that tight?" He asked carefully pulling her backward.

Mauve nodded still holding on to her head. "It's not unbearable but you can definitely feel the difference." She chuckled.

"Are all your dresses this tight?" Jael asked directly into her ears.
