ANNOUNCENT
Hi everyone, I know I promised to update more frequently this month but life seed to have other plans. I was enrolled in a compulsory military camp (it's part of the service to the country so I can't pass up on it)
Fortunately, it doesn't last very long so I'll have to move my promise to the second half of the month.
I really appreciate everyone who keeps reading, leaving power stones, and your support although I've been really tardy. You have no idea how much I really appreciate you.
I apologize for this and I hope to make up for it very soon.

"Danag," Jael said darkly. "This is the part where you explain yourself. The fact that I have to tell you this is a bit irritating."
Jael got to his seat and dropped onto it. The window behind him was open and the curtains drawn. There was minimal light reflecting in and Jael sat with his back to the window.
"Forgive , Sire but it is a pretty long story." He started to say.
"I'm sure you can make it short," Jael said stiffly.
"Yes," Danag said darkly.
Jael frowned and leaned forward. He could tell sothing wasn't right but he couldn't place a bet on what it could possibly be.
"I am listening," Jael replied and placed his elbows on the table.
"May I?" Danag said, pointing to the chair.
Jael leaned back against his seat, "The fact that you're being this dramatic, it better be worth my ti."
"Of course, Sire. I am sure you'd want to hear this."
"Well then have a seat, Danag," Jael said maliciously.
"Thank you, Your Grace," Danag said as he sat opposite Jael.
"Out with it."
"We got the human out of the Nolands without encountering any palers but instead of dropping him off at the outskirts, we decided to take him ho."
Jael didn't even blink. This was the original plan. Of course, he wanted them to take the physician to his doorstep. They had taken him from there, it was only right they dropped him off back there.
"We were about to leave when he suggested we stay the day that he should be able to get the information about the princess before sundown."
Jael's expression remained blank but his stomach knotted a bit.
"We stayed the day and true to his word, he had the necessary information by the end of the day."
"What did he find?" Jael asked bluntly. He didn't like the knowing look on Danag's face. He also did not care for what transpired unless it was important.
"It's best if you read it," Danag announced, digging into his inner pocket.
"He wrote a letter?"
"I figured it would be better if he explained it himself than having to tell you."
"Let have it then," Jael said, stretching out his hand.
Almost imdiately the door was thrown open and Jael's attention turned to the door. He had been distracted, he did not notice they were about to be interrupted.
Kieran walked through the open door. "Sire," Kieran said with a bow.
Jael leaned back, "I see you have arrived."
"I figured you'd want to see as soon as I arrive."
"Yeah." Turning to Danag, "You may leave."
"Sire," Danag protested.
"I'm pretty sure discussing how we will fight palers is more important than whatever information you might have."
Danag stood to his feet without argunt, his lips a thin line. He bowed to Jael and slowly retreated. He walked to where Damon stood and they both left the room, closing the door softly.
Kieran glanced backward to the door and back at Jael. "Am I interrupting sothing?"
"It can wait," Jael said with a dismissal wave.
There was no denying the fact that he was stalling. What he wanted to know about Mauve was finally here and all he just wanted to do was put it off as long as possible.
Was he worried that what he will find out will ruin this? He didn't think it would change anything but he couldn't say this yet until he found out what it was first.
"Did you travel all the way here yourself?" Jael asked, changing the subject.
"I am not stupid enough to make such a blunder. I brought enough guards to take out at least three palers."
Jael didn't say anything for a few seconds as he watched Kieran. "I heard you ca up with a certain solution."
"Yes, it is more efficient than trying to kill them," Kieran said and walked closer.
"I don't see how putting them to sleep works better than killing them, Kieran. Care to enlighten ?"
"Of course, Sure," he replied, stopping directly in front of the desk. He pulled out the seat and plop onto it.
"It is taking far longer to co up with a more terminating thod. This is more effective as I can put them to sleep but for so reason, I can't find a way to kill them aside from sunlight."
"Kieran, the point of this is to have fewer palers not to keep them alive. Putting them to sleep defeats the purpose."
"We are not going to keep them alive, " Kieran announced. "It's just a more effective way of making sure they are not chasing after you when they regenerate and the drug will be strong enough to keep them knocked out until sun up."
Jael went quiet and he brought his fingers to his chin as he considered Kieran's suggestions.
"This," Kieran continued, "is a temporary solution until I can co up with a more permanent one. However, I don't see that happening any ti soon and we don't have all the ti in the world."
"You're certain this will be efficient?" Jael asked.
Kieran nodded. "I will knock them out cold."
"How long will it take you to perfect this or have you done this already?"
"Not yet, a week at most. However, the ingredients aren't available here and since I will be mass producing, I would need a lot."
"The Human Kingdom?" Jael asked.
"Precisely."
"I see, make a list of whatever you might need. I will ask my guards to get them within three days. Is that enough ti for you? Or would you still need a week more to prepare the drug?"
"That's definitely enough ti, however, I will only be able to prepare a limited amount but it will be enough to test out how effective it is during battle."
Jael sighed and opened his mouth to speak but suddenly stopped.
Kieran frowned as Jael rose from his seat.
"Is sothing wrong?"
However, Jael didn't respond, he just marched to the door and threw it open. A loud yelp echoed in the hallway.
