Mauve was certain she was smiling sheepishly as she buried her face against his chest. She could hear his heartbeat, it was faster than usual but it might have been her own heartbeat echoing back to her.

She was flushed from head to toe and tired too, she didn't want to move, didn't want to deal with the aftermath, she wished she was sleepy but she was just too tired to move, her mind was fully awake.

She lay stiffly, on his body not wanting to move. It didn't help that he wasn't saying anything even though he knew she was awake.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked and pulled out of her.

Mauve whimpered at the sensation, "Nothing," she blushed.

"Hmm, just a second." He carefully pushed her off him and got out of bed.

He wiped between her legs while she stayed still, red as a cherry.

"Does it hurt?" He asked again.

She shook her head but she couldn't bring herself to look at his face which was weird as this wasn't the first or the second ti for that matter.

"Aren't you adorable?" He said and leaned forward for a kiss.

Mauve blushed so more, she didn't think it was possible to get any redder.

He got into bed beside her and pulled her to him so her head would rest on his chest while one of his hands lay on hers. He fondled her bosom for a while before he pulled her up for a kiss and she felt him grow against her.

"What do you think you are doing?" She asked wide-eyed.

"You said it didn't hurt."

"I didn't an for this," she exclaid.

"Well, I did." He said and pressed himself against her.

"Jael!" She cried. "You can't."

"Are you sure about that?" He asked. His hands trailed over her body and Mauve felt her already weak resistance fall apart.

"It's been a while because of you, aren't you going to take responsibility for that?" He whispered into her ear, his tongue teasing her earlobe.

"Jael," she moaned.

(...)

Mauve eyes flew open, soone was at the door. She tried to sit up but found that she could not. At first, she thought her body wasn't listening to her because of how tired she was until she realized there was an arm wrapped around her.

"Jael!" She scread.

"Too loud," he mumbled behind her. "Don't you think it is about ti you stop being shocked to see when you wake up?" He sounded irritated.

She turned around so she could see his face. He was faced down but imdiately turned on his side as she turned. He ran his hand through his hair and stared hard at her.

Mauve blinked rapidly as her mind imdiately went blank. She couldn't stop staring.

"Chase her way," he said.

"What?" Mauve asked. Her ears were not processing the words.

He smirked, "Mill, tell her to co back later."

She nodded and started to get out of bed.

"Where do you think you are going?"

"To answer the door," she mumbled, annoyed that he was talking to her like she was stupid.

"Like that?" He asked and his eyes moved downwards.

Mauve followed his gaze and covered her chest as she rembered she was without any clothes. She couldn't comprehend how she had forgotten but waking up to Jael in her bed was more discombobulating than she thought.

She quickly brought her hands to cover her chest as she buried herself into the sheets.

"Hiding them from now, don't you think it is a little too late for that."

"Mauve," Mill's voice rang out.

"Mill," she instinctively said back and the vampire took it as a response for her to co in.

She closed the door behind her and walked in. "Sire!" She called and bowed.

Mauve had to hand to her, aside from the high pitch in her voice there was no other indication that she was surprised to see him.

"Mill," he called back. "Has any of the Lords left?" He asked.

"Yes, about five, including Lord Seraphino. He left as soon as it was sunset."

Jael's gaze darkened, "I see."

"Also, Lord Garth requests your presence."

Jael frowned, "Tell him, I am indisposed."

"He insists, Sire. Says, he won't leave until you give him an audience."

Jael's eyes turned to slits, "Did he say what it is about?"

Mill shook her head.

"He had all night yesterday and the night before but he chooses now to make an absurd request." Jael paused as he thought

"Let him join us for the second al, I will see him then. I want anybody else out of the castle before then. My orders, I don't care how far they have to go. They can take as many guards as they need for an escort."

"Yes, your grace." Mill bowed as she spoke.

"Mauve are you ready for a bath now?" She asked.

"Yes," she mumbled.

"No!" Jael said over her. "Co back in an hour."

"Yes, Sire."

"Jael!" Mauve cried but didn't even look at her.

"Would you have the first al here?" Mill asked, the both of them ignoring her protests.

"Yes and so will Mauve."

"Yes, sire. I will return in an hour." She bowed again and slowly made her way out of the room. The door closed behind her with a soft thud.

"Why would you do that? I do want to have my bath now," she pouted.

"I know but it will be a sha if you had to wash again." His eyes road her face and she noticed the start of a smirk.

Her eyes widened in horror, she had barely gotten much sleep last night because of an unsatisfying person. She was still sore from last night. Nothing excessive but nobody human would be able to go again so soon.

Mauve sighed, what was she expecting, she wasn't exactly dealing with a human here. He leaned closer to her and she let him kiss her.
