Chapter 1794: Chapter 1787: The One Supporting Her Is Not Rong Ning

Song Huaining imdiately panicked and tried to get up, but her body was clumsy. The more anxious she beca, the more hurried she was, and ended up scraping her knee again, “Ouch…”

Song Huaining, like a little ball of flesh, rubbed against the ground, tears falling one after another.

How embarrassing she was in front of Rong Ning!

“Miss, are you alright?”

A gentle voice rang out, and Song Huaining saw a hand in front of her. She instinctively grabbed it to stand up.

She was just about to call out to Brother Ning, but when she looked closely, she realized it was an unfamiliar face.

The man was tall and burly, with a high nose bridge and deep-set eyes, rugged yet incredibly gentle in his gaze.

Qin Yu saw the plump girl staring blankly at him. He found it curious and handed her a handkerchief, “Wipe it off.”

Song Huaining thanked him but did not take the handkerchief.

She looked around for Rong Ning, only to find he had already moved past the crowd, with many won throwing flirtatious glances, but he ignored them all.

Song Huaining felt inexplicably sad inside, lacking even the courage to catch up with him. She ran back to Su Han, crying like a snot-nosed child.

Seeing her crying so fiercely, Su Han could only take her onto the carriage to go ho.

On the way, she questioned Song Huaining about what had happened, how she got involved with Chu Nianhan and his sister again.

Song Huaining didn’t dare ntion her intimacy with Rong Ning, nor did she talk about her previous encounter with Chu Nianhan.

Under Su Han’s stern gaze, she could only half-cover things up, ntioning how Chu Nianhan tore her clothes, and Rong Ning took her to buy new ones.

After hearing this, Su Han’s eyes carried a hint of anger. She then asked, “Where did Rong Ning take you to buy the dress?”

In Jiang Du City, there are few ready-to-wear stores that have clothes for Song Huaining.

Song Huaining stamred, “Just… a store by the street, I’ve forgotten.”

If she were to say that Rong Ning had soone make the dress for her, Su Han would definitely scold her.

Seeing her cry with discomfort, Su Han didn’t press further, intending to take her ho first.

As for Chu Nianhan’s matter, she would definitely go to her parent’s house to discuss it with Su Hao. As adults, they never ddled too much in the children’s affairs, but she couldn’t just watch Song Huaining being bullied.

Back ho, Song Huaining looked at her soiled dress, lay on the bed, and cried out loud, hating Chu Nianhan with all her heart, “You made a fool! You embarrassed in front of Brother Ning! Brother Ning surely finds ugly and is ignoring now…”

She was crying so heartbrokenly that she didn’t even notice when soone entered the room.

Rong Ning stood silently beside her bed, watching her cry and curse, sad and troubled, his heart unmoved.

It wasn’t until Song Huaining cried herself hoarse that he walked to her, gently resting a hand on her shoulder, “If you keep crying, your voice will be ruined.”

Song Huaining was thunderstruck. She turned and faced Rong Ning’s handso face and cried out in surprise, “Ah!!!”

“Shh, keep your voice down, it’s already dark.”

Rong Ning’s slender fingers pressed against her lips.

A slight electric current instantly spread throughout Song Huaining’s body.

Su Han arrived with the maid, showing concern outside the door, “Ning’er, what’s wrong?”

Rong Ning pointed towards the door, signaling Song Huaining to speak.

Song Huaining quickly stood up, “N-nothing, Mom! I just saw a bug and got scared.”

Su Han breathed a sigh of relief, did not enter the room to check, and advised her to rest early before leaving.

Song Huaining sat on the bed, looking at Rong Ning’s tall figure, nervously lowering her head, her chubby little feet shaking incessantly.
