Chapter 1572: Chapter 1567: Fierce Argunt

“Qin Muyan! Qin Muyan!”

Rong Yun, holding these portraits and letters, wanted to go find Qin Muyan to clarify, but Qin Muyan’s palace guard stopped her, “Princess, these are treasures cherished by His Highness. You cannot take them out of the study! His Highness will bla .”

“I am Qin Muyan’s Princess, what can’t I take? Move aside, I just want to ask him.” Rong Yun pouted, a bit unreasonable, but knowing she was pregnant, she dared not act rashly, only arguing back and forth with the guard verbally.

However, for so reason, the guard stubbornly refused to let her take the items, eventually forcing her to put them down. After he tidied them up neatly, only then did he let her leave, still saying, “These are His Highness’s most treasured possessions, no one is allowed to touch or view them.”

Rong Yun felt even more upset, “He said I am his treasure!”

This cousin, Su Yingxue…

A bunch of papers, how did they beco his most treasured?

Rong Yun ran away crying, and she didn’t notice the guard’s unusual expression.

Rong Yun kept fussing until Qin Muyan ca back in the evening. After several days of busy military affairs and still having to soothe Rong Yun to sleep at night, he was utterly exhausted. Tonight, he really couldn’t muster the energy and wanted to sleep alone; however, he sent Wei Jue to relay the ssage, but before Wei Jue returned, Rong Yun ran over.

She ran hurriedly, her Cloud Brocade Jade Shoes jingling, the noise aggravating Qin Muyan’s headache.

He pressed his temples and upon seeing Rong Yun all puffed up and her eyes red from crying, he said helplessly, “Why are you crying again?”

Who has upset her this ti?

“Qin Muyan, who is Su Yingxue? Do you love her and not ?”

Rong Yun asked urgently, not even noticing her skirt soaking up the moss.

Qin Muyan’s brows furrowed tightly, his voice not as gentle as usual, “How do you know her? Who told you about her!”

“In your study, there are all her portraits and letters! You wrote so many letters to her, why… do you care about her so much?”

A wave of sourness rolled through Rong Yun’s heart, she had never felt such intense acidity before!

Even when Qin Muyan married Rong Yunshu as his secondary consort, she wasn’t this heartbroken!

But seeing the portraits Qin Muyan painted of Su Yingxue and the love-filled letters he wrote… her heart felt like it was being held in soone’s hand, being torn apart bit by bit, then discarded.

“You went to Your Highness’s study? Rong Yun, who allowed you to make a scene!”

Qin Muyan’s suppressed emotions burst out, roaring at Rong Yun resoundingly.

Outside the door, Wei Jue and Wei Mingze hesitated a little, while Hong Xiu and Xiao Xiang, who had followed, spun around anxiously, “Why are the Princess and His Highness arguing, what should we do now?”

“The Princess was in His Highness’s study this afternoon looking through things?” Wei Jue sensed trouble and imdiately asked.

Xiao Xiang said quickly, “The Princess heard that His Highness had co back in the afternoon, so she went to the study, but we don’t know what she found there. She ca back crying, saying that His Highness’s heart belongs to soone else and he doesn’t love her anymore.”

“This is bad! His Highness’s trunk…”

Wei Jue’s expression darkened, and he imdiately ran towards Qin Muyan’s study.

Qin Muyan’s trunk had been opened, and the letters inside had been shuffled through, Wei Jue clenched his teeth, “This is bad!”

This was sothing Qin Muyan valued greatly, even if he could not marry Su Yingxue, it was still a lingering attachnt in his heart, now discovered by the Princess… this could sow discord between them.

But Wei Jue couldn’t figure out, why would the Princess, who should be nurturing her pregnancy, co and open Qin Muyan’s trunk?

Wei Jue wanted to thoroughly check the letters, but they belonged to Qin Muyan, he dared not tamper with them, he could only put the trunk back exactly as it was.

However, he locked the door to Qin Muyan’s study, cautiously preventing anyone from entering.

When he returned to Qin Muyan’s bedroom, the argunt inside had escalated, Qin Muyan’s hands gripping Rong Yun’s shoulders, his anger spilling over, “When will you grow up a bit, stop bothering with these trivial matters! I don’t want to hear you cry anymore! Enough!”

Rong Yun was so scared by him that she couldn’t even cry out loud, her mind echoing with Qin Muyan’s yelling. She moved her lips, only to find that she couldn’t utter a single word.

After Qin Muyan had finished yelling, though he had vented his anger, he regretted it.

Rong Yun was just a little girl; he had never yelled at her before.

He might have frightened her severely.

Rong Yun ran away, not knowing if it was because she was scared by Qin Muyan or if it was an instinctive desire to break free from his grasp.

A huge stone weighed on her heart, a stone nad Su Yingxue.

The person Qin Muyan cherished the most.

She ran swiftly, lifting her skirt, as if greased on the soles of her feet. Hong Xiu, who was behind her, could not catch up at all. It was only after Xiao Xiang flipped a few tis to reach behind Rong Yun that he managed to grab her, “Princess, stop running, be careful not to fall! You are carrying a child!”

“Let go of !”

Rong Yun was so angry that she tried to shake him off.

“Princess, be careful with yourself!”

Xiao Xiang held onto her without letting go, but was then confronted by a palace guard rushing out of the night, pointing a sword at him, “Who goes there, daring to harm the Princess!”

That palace guard looked sowhat familiar to Rong Yun. He had a confrontation with Xiao Xiang, causing Xiao Xiang to let her go.

Xiao Xiang exclaid with wide eyes, “Are you mad! I am the Princess’s maidservant, I grabbed her to protect her! Princess… Princess, don’t run!”

Just as Xiao Xiang was about to catch up, he was stopped by this palace guard again, who drew his sword and started fighting with him, insisting on not letting him harm the Princess. No matter how Xiao Xiang tried to explain, he wouldn’t listen.

Hong Xiu gasped as she caught up, “Xiao Xiang! Why… why are you fighting with the palace guard!”

“This man is causing trouble; he won’t let chase after the Princess!” Xiao Xiang explained while fighting, “Hong Xiu, you go quickly and chase the Princess, be careful she might get into trouble!”

Hong Xiu was about to bypass the palace guard to pursue Rong Yun when the guard suddenly swung his sword at her, expressionlessly saying, “No one is allowed to harm the Princess!”

“Hong Xiu, be careful!” Xiao Xiang did a sorsault over, pushing Hong Xiu to the ground just in ti to save her from being slain by the sword.

Hong Xiu raised her head, her eyes warily fixed on the palace guard, “Who are you really! How dare you block our way like this!”

This person is definitely suspicious!

Sensing sothing was wrong, she tapped Xiao Xiang, intending to imdiately get up and chase after Rong Yun, but just as they were about to rise, they heard a splash.

“Help!”

“This is bad!”

“Princess!”

The two of them ran quickly forward, through the archway, and arrived at Jingxin Lake.

Large waves surged in the lake; Rong Yun had fallen in.

Xiao Xiang imdiately jumped in to rescue Rong Yun, while Hong Xiu, anxiously unable to swim, could only offer help from the shore. She carefully noticed that not only were there footprints of Rong Yun on the shore, but also a layer of moss that didn’t belong here.

The bank of Jingxin Lake was much higher than the water surface, built of bluestone, and should not have moss!

“Hong Xiu, quickly pull the Princess up!”

Xiao Xiang, holding Rong Yun, swam to the shore.
