Chapter 556: Chapter 556: Acknowledge Chapter 556: Chapter 556: Acknowledge “Zhong Niangyao, get the surveillance footage now!” Zhong ngxuan beca righteous and indignant, “I must clear my own na in this matter.”

Her justice-filled deanor made it impossible to doubt her words.

At that mont, Zhong ngxuan was quite pleased with herself. She wasn’t foolish; how could she allow the surveillance to ruin her after knowing it was in the lounge?

Before attending the engagent party, she had already found a way to have the footage deleted.

Clearly aware of the surveillance, if she hadn’t done anything, she would have been a fool. As long as the footage was gone, even if the police were called, she wouldn’t be afraid.

Thinking of this, when she looked at Zhong Niangyao, her eyes involuntarily carried a trace of smugness.

“Okay!” Zhong Niangyao raised an eyebrow and then nodded, “But, we don’t need to bring soone in, I have a way to view it directly here!”

While speaking, Zhong Niangyao walked towards the dressing table where there was incredibly a cara placed, “This cara has been on all the ti, recording everything that happened in the lounge. Even our conversation right now should have been recorded.”

As she spoke, Zhong Niangyao picked up the cara, smirked at Zhong ngxuan, and continued, “We can just watch the playback directly, isn’t that more convenient?”

“This—” Zhong ngxuan’s breath halted for a mont, and panic resurfaced in her heart.

All along, she had thought that in this lounge, there were only the caras above. She had never imagined that there would be a cara placed on the table in the lounge.

If she had known earlier, if she had known—

She would have definitely taken the cara with her when she left.

Thinking about this, Zhong ngxuan’s breathing beca hurried. She wanted to stop Zhong Niangyao’s actions and destroy the cara in Zhong Niangyao’s hands.

But, all these were just thoughts; under the current circumstances, she couldn’t do anything.

Taking a deep breath, Zhong ngxuan tried to calm her anxious heart, constantly telling herself not to worry, there was absolutely no need to worry.

Zhong Niangyao was bluffing her, it must be. Otherwise, how could it be such a coincidence? Just when she managed to delete the surveillance footage, Zhong Niangyao brought out a cara.

“Let’s appreciate what Zhong ngxuan has done!” Zhong Niangyao said with a light laugh, “Originally, this cara was only placed here by soone in charge of recording the engagent party, ant to capture so behind-the-scenes footage. But unexpectedly, it recorded so surprising scenes!”

While talking, Zhong Niangyao turned on the cara, and the footage appeared. It was startlingly a video of Zhong Niangyao playing with her phone alone in the lounge.

The cara was not big, so only a few people could be seen clearly—Old Master Lu, Old Madam Lu, and Old Sir Zhong, Old Madam Zhong.

Others could only see a bit of the footage.

It was unclear whether it was intentional or just a coincidence, but Zhong ngxuan could perfectly see the video.

As the footage started playing back, all of Zhong ngxuan’s psychological defenses collapsed in an instant. She couldn’t continue convincing herself that Zhong Niangyao was just pretending.

As the video continued playing, Zhong ngxuan couldn’t take it, and quickly stepped forward. Without anyone noticing, she grabbed the cara, raised it, and then violently smashed it on the ground.

“Don’t watch anymore.”

Instantly, the cara broke into two pieces, the screen shattered and imdiately darkened, and all the footage stopped abruptly.

Nobody expected Zhong ngxuan to act this way.

For a mont, everyone was sowhat taken aback. However, soon after coming to their senses, the look everyone gave Zhong ngxuan had drastically changed.

Initially, there was only suspicion toward Zhong ngxuan, but now it was almost certain. If Zhong ngxuan had done nothing wrong, then why would she smash the cara? It was clearly an act of guilt.

“It seems you are admitting to what you’ve done,” Zhong Niangyao spoke calmly, “Is this a confession without coercion?”

“Yes, I did it.”

“I just wanted to kill you, so what? Zhong Niangyao, you should have died long ago, not stayed in this world to trouble .”

At that mont, Zhong ngxuan had no more reservations.

By now, everything about her was nearly completely exposed. Whether it be her strenuously concealed relationships with the Zhong Family and Zhong Niangyao, or the things she had done before. She was done for, she was truly done for.

After today, there would be no place for her by Lu Chenran’s side, and she couldn’t return to the Zhong Family either.

At such a point, she was practically resigned to despair.

“What an unfortunate family!”

Although it had been known for a while, hearing Zhong ngxuan admit it was still a big shock for Old Sir Zhong. His breath quickened, and he clutched his chest.

“Old man,” Old Madam Zhong exclaid.

Zhong Niangyao rushed forward in a few quick steps, said nothing, and directly pressed a few points on Old Sir Zhong’s body.

After the last press, Old Sir Zhong’s originally rapid breath had cald down, his previously flushed face returned to normal, and he looked much better than before.

Old Sir Zhong felt it most profoundly; his chest felt much lighter, no longer the painful stabs from before.

Zhong Mingyu stepped forward and slapped Zhong ngxuan on the face, “You evil girl, what have you done?”

The sudden slap left Zhong ngxuan montarily unable to react.

The pain on her cheek brought her swiftly back to reality. When she looked at Zhong Mingyu, there was even a hint of hatred, “You hit , you dare to hit .”

“That’s right, it was you,” Zhong Mingyu said, breathing heavily, his deanor showing he was quite angered, “You even thought about murder, what else could you not do?”

“What does it have to do with you?” Zhong ngxuan’s attitude was very cold, “You’ve already stopped caring about , what I do has nothing to do with you. What right do you have to hit ? You don’t want to care about , yet you want to pontificate in front of . Soone like you has no right to judge !”

Zhong Mingyu was left nearly speechless by Zhong ngxuan’s words.

He raised his hand, his finger pointing at Zhong ngxuan trembling.
