Zhong Niangyao briefly explained what Ling Chao had done to Zhang Jing, her tone calm as if she was simply recounting a fact without any personal emotion.
“Beast, monster!” Zhao Xuanglang was filled with righteous indignation, “Such a person still has the face to live in this world. Boss, you really shouldn’t have saved him back then. He should have been tornted to death by the pen spirit.”
“What about the lives of the other three people then?” Zhong Niangyao glanced at Zhao Xuanglang, “Should the other three have to be buried with him?”
After Zhong Niangyao’s words, Zhao Xuanglang found himself without any retort.

Upon hearing Zhong Niangyao’s words, Zhao Xuanglang’s attitude imdiately beca solemn and determined, “Boss, I will undertake any task you assign . Climbing mountains or diving into seas of fire, I will not refuse, let alone such a minor matter. I promise to get it done.”
Zhong Niangyao nodded in satisfaction, “Then do it as soon as possible.”
Truthfully, she wasn’t trying to make things difficult for Zhao Xuanglang. She genuinely believed Zhao Xuanglang could handle the task since he belonged to their circle. If she were to do it herself, it would stand out too much and potentially alert the enemy.
After talking for a bit, Zhong Niangyao sent Zhao Xuanglang away to complete the task she had given him.
Originally, Zhong Niangyao hadn’t expected him to take on the task for several days. Unexpectedly, Zhao Xuanglang called her the next day, claiming that he had already doused Ling Chao in dog blood.
