Joanna looked like she was joking, but she was actually serious.

She was worried that Ace might bother Joanna.

"What about Abby? Is she angry with ?"
" Abby actually took it much better. She’s not angry with you, she just ntions you hundreds of tis every day. She made a little toy phone so that she could talk to you regularly."
"Nancy, please call them over. I’d like to chat with them."
Joanna missed her kids so badly. She could not wait to talk to them.
"Sure, Miss Joan. Give a second..."
Nancy loudly called out to Adie and Abby.

Joanna felt her exhaustion vanish the mont she saw her daughter. She felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
"How are you today, Mommy? Abby missed you so much."
Abby was a sweet girl. Her eyes were like grapes, big and round.
She was holding a homade phone in her hand. She aid one end of the phone at the screen and placed the other end at her ear. ’’Mommy, if you have any secrets, you can tell Abby. Nancy won’t hear it."
Her innocence and cuteness made Joanna smile. Joanna played along and whispered, "Did you behave today? Did you wet your pants?"
Abby’s face, which was as red as an apple, turned even redder as she blushed. "You’re so bad, Mommy. I don’t wet my pants anymore. Only big bro does now!"
"Hahaha, that’s right. Mommy forgot. You don’t wet your pants anymore. You just like to dawdle in bed."
"Mommy, co ho. If you co ho, I won’t dawdle in bed anymore. Both big bro and I miss you so much."
Abby’s puppy eyes drooped as she said pitifully.
"Don’t worry. Everything’s going well over here. Mommy will be back soon."
Joanna promised her daughter.
They kept chatting for a while longer, but Joanna still did not see Adie, so she asked Abby, "Where’s your brother? Doesn’t he miss Mommy? Why hasn’t he co over to talk to Mommy?"
