And thus continues the live reading of the beast compendium. My companion completely flabbergasted and listening attentively.
The more this goes on the more I realize that this thing just lists all creatures that exist. It is trying to be as exhaustive as possible, with the habits and food preferences included.
There is no way I will rember all of that. It is kinda similar to when you browse a wiki for info about sothing random. Sure it's interesting and all but you will likely forget most of it over ti.
I guess this thing would work well as a reference material before a big mission or sothing. Boss fight incoming? What is that monster weak to? Prepare accordingly.
There is only one issue with that is that the monsters with the longest entries are the rank 2 ones. I an even Wolfie can get rid of those sohow.
What is the point in taming such a weak one? Labor? I am just traveling at the mont. For fun? I already have Wolfie following around and that is enough for . Becoming a more knowledgeable beast tar? This is not my goal; I just want the certificate.
The more she reads the more I feel like this is kind of a waste of ti. But then I need to finish this before I can learn so more stuff.
I wonder If there are multiple ways to beco one. In this one story I knew there was the conventional way to pass exams for professions and the extrely troubleso one. It just turned out that for the MC the second option was actually easier because of his circumstances.
Maybe I would be in a similar boat. After all divine energy is hard to use but also kinda OP not gonna lie. So far, I can use it mostly to scout and defend myself with a tiny bit of offensive power. Only this has allowed to even fight rank 3 creatures. Well, there was also that one ti with the bone dragon, but I only succeeded with support from the mage.
Right, how strong was that thing anyway? Was it a rank4? Perhaps it was a rank 3.5 since it was already dead?
[Can you look up bone dragon in there? I want to know the rank of that thing we killed.]
