Ding!

[Your skill "Infinite Regeneration" has leveled up!]

[Skill: Infinite Regeneration (Level 1 >> Level 2)]

W-Wait, what?! Holy shit! Did I hear that correctly? This is not a dream, right? Are you seriously telling that my regeneration skill has just leveled up?

My mind raced as I stared at the glowing notification in disbelief. "Infinite Regeneration" had been my lifesaver, my one saving grace through all this insanity, and now it was even better? If I could’ve jumped for joy, I would have—except, you know, my whole ’missing limbs’ problem. Welp, whatever, I can always celebrate later once my body fully recovers.

In any case, this is great news! I can hardly believe that my skill could actually level up—it’s honestly mind-blowing. For the longest ti, I had always thought that my skill was fixed, that it had reached its peak and couldn’t improve any further. The idea that it could still grow and evolve, and that its potential is limitless is absolutely insane. It’s hard to wrap my mind around it.

That aside, I still don’t know what the max level for this Infinite Regeneration skill could reach or how far it can really go, but that’s not a concern for right now. What matters more is that I’m making progress. That alone is good enough for now, and it’s more than enough to keep pushing forward, eager to see what cos next or how this skill will continue to grow.

Alright, let’s do the math. Now that my Infinite Regeneration skill has leveled up, I’m wondering how much faster it will take to fully heal my body this ti. From what I know, it usually takes about a few weeks after death for to fully recover, but with my skill now at Level 2, I’m expecting the recovery ti to be shorter.

But the real question is—how much faster? Will it be 2x faster? Or 3x faster? The skill doesn’t specify. Well, I guess only ti will tell, and I’ll find out eventually.

...

...

After a few hours, I started feeling sleepy again. I guess the healing process really drains a lot of my energy, and both my mind and body needed more rest to fully recover.

Now that I think about it, it kind of reminds of the tis when I was in the hospital—after I had surgery, they would always tell to sleep and rest more in order to recover faster. The doctors would always say that resting helps speed up the healing process, since that’s how the human body works: recovery accelerates when you’re well-rested.

It’s strange how similar this all feels. I had always believed that I was no longer an ordinary human, that I had beco sothing else—like a video ga character who only dies when their health points reach zero.

I’d convinced myself that the rules of the human body no longer applied to , that death and healing would work differently now. But to think that, even now, the healing process still works in the sa way and hasn’t changed much at all—it’s almost like I’m still bound by the sa laws of biology, even though I thought I had already transcended the limits of being human.

...

...

The hours dragged on as I continued to rest, letting my body do what it needed to do. My upper body slowly began to regenerate, bit by bit, with the faintest tingling sensation marking the return of flesh, bones, muscles, and organs. I was gradually getting better, and that was all that mattered. But I couldn’t help but wonder: What would happen if my regeneration skill reached its maximum level?

And when that happens, will I be able to heal instantly at so point? Not now, of course, but maybe in the near future. Man, if I ever reach that point, I’ll practically be unstoppable—able to heal instantly and co back to life in an instant. At that level, it could even be considered an instant respawn skill or free instant respawn ticket... Damn, that’s crazy and basically overpowered.

...

...

Roughly two weeks later...

Ding!

[Congratulations on your recovery! Not only has your body fully healed, but you’ve also triggered a significant boost: your Strength and Agility stats have each increased by 20 points, enhancing your overall physical power.]

[STR: 281 >> 301]

[AGI: 98 >> 118]

Wait, wait, wait, hold on! What the hell is this?! 20 stat points this ti?!

I couldn’t believe it. It used to be 10 stat points last ti, but now it’s 20 points after the regeneration skill leveled up to Level 2.

Holy shit! Damn, son! I couldn’t help but feel so happy to the point I literally wanted to jump for joy and shout, "Hurrah! Hooray! Hahaha!" Hmm, anyway, now that I think about it, this is practically the sa as my daily quest. Just like how my daily quest rewards increase each ti I complete, the sa goes for my Infinite Regeneration—the reward has increased as well after leveling up.

Well, I don’t know what else to say, but fucking good shit I guess! Bahaha! Hoorah! Fuck yeah! Man, what a wonderful day today! Seriously, these are so motherfucking amazing rewards for sure! And I’ll gladly accept them gratefully! Ah, good shit! Very good shit! Simply the best shit ever! Ah, I’m just so happy right now!

...

...

As the hours passed, I eventually grew tired and fell asleep. I had planned to do my daily quest exercises today, but feeling so happy right now, I decided to celebrate by taking the day off and just relaxing. For now, I’ll focus on getting a nice solid sleep first and then figure out what to do tomorrow—or maybe even co up with a plan on how to escape this damn filthy place.

Zzzzzz... SNORE!

Oh, right. In case you don’t know, I’m actually sleeping underwater right now. It’s so dark down here that I can barely see anything, but that doesn’t matter much since my other senses are still working fine. Based on what I’ve felt and tasted so far, I can pretty much say that I’m most likely inside a massive sea monster’s stomach.
