As I carefully scanned the alien soldiers, hoping to spot the leader among them, it beca clear that the alien leader wasn’t present. Phew, I let out a quiet breath of relief—my heart rate easing just a bit. But that relief was short-lived. I knew that, with or without the alien leader around, my chances of finding a way out of here hadn’t really changed. The odds were still stacked against , and I was running out of options.
Tch! If only those damn barrier shields weren’t in the way; I’d have wiped out every single one of these alien soldiers by now. The thought alone made my blood boil.
Knowing I can’t escape, I’m done waiting around. I’ve made up my mind—I’m going to fight. Whether I succeed or fail doesn’t really matter anymore. What matters is that I’ve grown a lot stronger than I was before, so why not give it another shot? This might be my only chance to test out my new strength.
After all, I can’t just stand here hoping for a miracle, not when I’ve co this far. Well, let’s just hope for the best. Without wasting another second, I charged into battle, ready to face whatever blocking my way.
CHARGE!
"Bring it on, you fucking aliens!!! Raargh!!!"
With a primal roar, I launched myself at the nearest alien soldier, my body a blur of motion as I charged forward. My fist was like a hamr, driven with all the force I could muster, aiming straight for its chest. The mont my knuckles collided with the alien’s barrier shield, a deafening clang rang out, the sound reverberating through the air like the crash of thunder.
CLANG!
To my surprise, the alien soldier staggered back but didn’t fall—of course, they didn’t. These bastards were tough as hell. But still, I couldn’t help but feel a rush of disbelief. My punch actually had an effect this ti. My blow didn’t just land; it pushed the alien back, even if just a little. For the first ti in what felt like forever, I saw so progress.
Damn! Have I finally gotten strong enough to do so real damage? Unfortunately though, the barrier shield still didn’t break, but the fact that I was able to push the alien soldier back a little ans that’s good news, right? Right, it might not be much, but I’d say it’s a good start at least. Heh, I guess not too shabby this ti.
"T-This human! He’s not normal!" one of the alien soldiers said.
"Yeah, he’s probably one of those humans from the world of magic or martial arts."
"h, we’ve dealt with many humans like him before, so it’s nothing new. The real question is, how the hell did he escape and manage to roam around the spaceship without getting noticed?"
"That’s exactly what I’m wondering about. I guess soone must’ve slacked off and didn’t keep an eye on the human prisoners."
It seed they didn’t recognize . Well, I guess the last ti I died was a few years ago, so they might have forgotten what I look like. But wait... did they just ntion human prisoners? So you’re telling they didn’t kill all the humans? They actually kept so humans alive as prisoners?
Out of nowhere, an alien—much taller and more massive than the others—suddenly appeared. It appeared to be the alien leader, his presence commanding imdiate attention. "Alright, enough talking! Capture that human now and lock him up with the other superhumans!"
I froze. Seeing the alien leader sent a wave of panic through . Holy shit! It’s the sa alien leader who killed the last ti. The one who tortured and ended my life with no hesitation or rcy.
As the leader stared at , I panicked for a mont, thinking he might rember . But to my surprise, he didn’t seem to care or even show any sign that he recognized at all. Phew! I stood there, feeling a mont of relief. I guess it makes sense—there are probably too many humans for him to rember anyway. But still, the thought of eting him again was enough to make my heart race.
Good grief! If the alien leader had rembered , he would undoubtedly have tortured again, just like last ti at the cargo station. The thought of going through that again... sends a chill down my spine. Phew, fortunately, this ti it seems he’s commanding his soldiers to capture and lock up with the other superhumans.
Wait a minute... did he just say superhumans?! Don’t tell he’s talking about those humans from the magical world or the martial arts world?!
BAAMM!!!
Before I knew it, soone whacked in the back of my head so hard that I didn’t even have a second to process what happened. The impact was so brutal, it felt like my skull might crack, and my body went numb.
My vision instantly blurred, and for a split second, everything around was spinning, fading in and out. Before I could even try to steady myself, darkness swallowed whole. I guess I was out cold, completely knocked out without even the chance to fight back.
...
...
I had no idea how much ti had passed. When I finally regained consciousness and slowly opened my eyes, I found myself trapped in a brightly lit, sowhat crowded room. The air slled weird—sothing unfamiliar, sharp, and a little off. My head still felt dizzy, and everything was just a blur for a mont.
However, after a few seconds, I finally managed to regain my focus. As my vision cleared, I realized I was surrounded by other humans—though they looked nothing like the ones I was used to on Earth. They were dressed in strange, fantasy-like clothing, as if they had stepped right out of so magical world or sothing.
Wait, don’t tell these guys are the superhumans that the alien leader was talking about?!
