Chen Xinya stood between Qin Wei and Qiao Sixiao as the people around them chatted and ate, oblivious to what was happening. Under their gaze, she drank a glass of wine.
Then another.
And another...
"Is Xinya performing magic...?"
"Shh... Don't listen or watch what you shouldn't..."

Chen Xinya didn't have much choice. After offending Qin Wei, she couldn't let Qiao Sixiao be unhappy too.
Clearly, the ten glasses were Qiao Sixiao testing her.
Qiao Sixiao watched her drink, tapping the table with her fingertips.
In the blink of an eye, the ten glasses were empty.
"Xinya, you're amazing."

The two went their separate ways only to et by their sports cars.
As Qiao Sixiao got into the passenger seat without putting on her seat belt, the driver said coldly:
"Get out."
Calm, crisp, pleasant-sounding.
But so people just can't take a hint. Qin Wei buckled up nicely and looked ahead obediently.
"I told you to get out."
Qiao Sixiao's impatience was obvious in her tone.
"Drive your own car ho. No, don't go back. Just leave."
Qin Wei remained indifferent, lowering her head to play on her phone.
"I want this dog cup, the one with a puppy on it."
Qin Wei opened her shopping app and pointed at the cup on screen.
Her expression was as if the earlier scolding had nothing to do with her.
"Didn’t I just buy you one recently? Get out of my car!"
Qiao Sixiao almost got sidetracked again but quickly rembered.
Qin Wei was in no hurry either. She murmured to herself:
"Hmm then I won't buy it. Yesterday upstairs I saw a Hermès crystal glass box, I'll make do with that first..."
"Make do?"
Qiao Sixiao felt her nerves snapping.
"That dog cup costs a hundred bucks. My crystal glass is over a thousand each. You say 'make do'?"
"Drive faster, I want to go back up and check for other nice stuff."
Qin Wei was even rushing her impatiently.
Qiao Sixiao simply leaned into her seat, crossed her arms, and waited for Qin Wei to get out: "I'm not driving until you get out."
Qin Wei didn't get mad. She had no plans of leaving either. She turned to Qiao Sixiao, blinked, rather delighted:
"Sis, do you an it? Then let's stay in the car all night. I still have a small Hermès blanket in my bag. It's just, your car isn't as comfy as a Cadillac, your seats don't recline well..."
As she spoke, Qin Wei felt around for the seat adjustnt.
Qiao Sixiao started the engine and drove out of the parking lot.
Qin Wei persisted in provoking her:
"Hey hey hey, why drive away? Not parking overnight? That'll be fun!
Drive slower, there's no speed limit on this road at night but...
Sixiao I'm wrong please drive slower, this is scary! (>
