"Pitiful?"

Qiao Sixiao laughed for a mont, not understanding why Qin Wei would say that.

When they arrived at the trailer, the assistant opened the door for her. The air conditioner had already been turned on, and cool air rushed to et them.

After getting on the vehicle, the first thing Qin Wei did was open the cake box, and stick a straw into the milk tea, then she asked Qiao Sixiao:

"Teacher Qiao, hurry and pick one of the two. The one left over will be mine!"

Qiao Sixiao looked at the food on the table, and pointed to the cake. Qin Wei imdiately understood, and picked up the milk tea.

Qiao Sixiao's assistant also imdiately understood, said "Thanks, sis," and took the small cake and left.

"Put down the milk tea."

Qiao Sixiao knocked on the table.

Qin Wei shrank back with the milk tea in her arms:

"What do you an? It's your own business that you gave the cake to Little Wang. How can you take everything?"

"I don't care."

Qiao Sixiao impatiently knocked on the table again.

Qin Wei was truly reluctant to give it up. Right in front of her, she took a sip. Looking at Qiao Sixiao regretfully, it was too late now.

At this point, Qiao Sixiao was also starting to be stubborn:

"I don't mind, give it to ."

Qin Wei had no choice but to place the milk tea on the table.

Qiao Sixiao satisfiedly revealed a smile, took the milk tea, glanced at the order printed on it, and casually asked her:

"Alright, continue what you were saying, why is Su Yang pitiful?"

"He lost the competition, bought so much food, and he's the male lead. He ca over to greet you, but you completely ignored him. Aren't you two shooting a drama together? And you're from the sa company, you didn't even say thanks and still have the nerve to drink..."

Qin Wei stared at the milk tea, watching as she actually drank it. She saw what was written on it--[Half sugar, add tapioca pearls, add smiley face stickers]--and she still drank it...

"I read the paper you sent , and I feel it makes so sense that appropriate indulgence is good for the body. I have to say, it's pretty tasty."

As Qiao Sixiao spoke, she shook the milk tea in front of Qin Wei.

At this ti Qin Wei finally opened her own small backpack. Since they were hiking today, she still needed to replenish energy and stay hydrated. Qin Wei brought water and a slice of whole wheat bread, in addition to a lunch box.

When she was giving out the milk tea desserts to everyone earlier, she had threatened Li Liang to pack her a braised chicken leg.

She was quite hungry now, so she started eating!

This was unexpected for Qiao Sixiao. One could do this?

...

Staying up late plus getting up early and hiking, at this point Qin Wei was full from the food but still thirsty. She was also tired. Her filming wouldn't start until tomorrow afternoon, so the crew hadn't arranged a place for her to rest here. Thus, Qin Wei recklessly lounged on soone else's trailer bed, sleeping very righteously.

"Get up and get out."

Without a second thought, Qiao Sixiao pulled her up,

"Your trailer isn't in place yet, but Su Yang's has arrived. Go sleep there, hurry up and leave."

Of course Qin Wei refused:

"What's wrong with you, why would I go there for self-destruction? Do I want to ruin my career? I'm exhausted, let sleep for a bit... Don't pull . Didn't you say I could always use your lounge in the future?"

She did say that, backstage at that concert in the southwest.

Qiao Sixiao let go of her hand and pointed to the side, "There's a bunk bed above the driver's area, go sleep up there."

Qin Wei grumbled as she got up and climbed onto the bunk bed to sleep. Right after lying down, a small blanket flew over and hit her.

Oh, it was nice Teacher Qiao, afraid she would catch a cold from the AC.

Qin Wei soon fell asleep, and the trailer quieted down again. Qiao Sixiao looked at the ti, and lay down to take a nap herself.

...

If it weren't for her phone buzzing nonstop, Qin Wei wouldn't have woken up. Half awake, she groped for her phone, which was full of ssages from Su Yang--

【Su Yang: The man-made lake here is so big. I just finished shooting, we're about to wrap up. Want to go boating on the lake together? 】

【Su Yang: The sunset is also beautiful.】

【Su Yang: I'll make so dinner for you tonight, co hang out with ?】

There was only her left in the trailer. Qin Wei looked at the ti again, 5pm. She had slept for almost 5 hours...

Sleeping too much during an afternoon nap gives you a headache. Qin Wei climbed down the ladder, opened the door, and saw Li Liang sitting at the doorway.

Fanning herself while wiping sweat.

Qin Wei was surprised: "Li Liang, whatcha doing steaming yourself in a sauna out here? Co on up!"

Li Liang wiped her sweat and waved her hand:

"Sis, isn't this Teacher Qiao's place? Her assistant specially told , when Teacher Qiao's not here, no one else is allowed in her room."

Qin Wei got off the vehicle, muttering to herself:

"Teacher Qiao has so many rules. Forget it, I don't dare provoke her either. Let's go."

Li Liang closed the door and jogged to catch up to Qin Wei, holding an umbrella over her:

"Sis, we have nothing scheduled this afternoon. Let's not look for trouble here, let's just go back to the hotel?"

Qin Wei glanced at her phone:

"Let's go liven things up a bit... Don't you want to see Su Yang?"

The corners of Li Liang's mouth unconsciously turned up:

"Sis, isn't it not too appropriate for us to go see Su Yang right now?"

Qin Wei ignored her, but that didn't stop Li Liang from skipping after her.

...

The ancient architecture area here at Baijingtu focused more on commoner life in ancient tis. For shooting ancient dramas outside of palace scenes, this was the main filming location. It had pavilions, towers, lakes, bridges, markets, shops, residential tiled roofs--everything.

Thus, one third of the scenes for their drama were shot here.

When Qin Wei arrived at the set, they were close to finishing shooting a scene. Su Yang was standing on the side watching. When he saw Qin Wei co, he walked out and softly said to her:

"You finally ca...I was thinking..."

"Cut!"

The director's voice shouting "break" sounded from inside the studio. Unhurriedly, Qiao Sixiao walked out and looked at Qin Wei:

"Did you just wake up from your nap and got scared I wouldn't call you for dinner, so you specifically ca over?"

As she spoke, she glanced at Su Yang standing next to them,

"Or...do you have other plans?"

Qin Wei glanced at Su Yang and walked up to Qiao Sixiao, saying:

"Why don't we eat together? Call Li Liang and the others too... And Su Yang's crew can co too, the more lively the better..."

Qiao Sixiao lightly pushed her away, "You go, I won't eat."

As she passed by Su Yang, he said:

"Or we don't have to eat out, I can make so food for you guys..."

"No need."

Qiao Sixiao stopped. It was purely because Su Yang was blocking her way. Sensing that, Su Yang took half a step to the side. Qiao Sixiao directly left after that.

"So miserable, Su Yang..."

Seeing him stare longingly at Qiao Sixiao's retreating figure, Qin Wei couldn't help sighing.

Su Yang gathered back his gaze and said to Qin Wei:

"What do you want to eat? I can make it for you too."

Qin Wei shook her head:

"I already ate and slept this afternoon. If I indulge myself with more eating, Qiao Sixiao would truly flip out. You don't know how terrifying she is when she flips out... There was once when I took the book she gave ... Su Yang, you can't possibly think I'd stand here reminiscing the past with you right? Every ti Qiao Sixiao is brought up, you have this look. No matter how deeply you try to hide it, I'd discover your secret..."

Su Yang's secret was sothing Qin Wei discovered not too long ago, when they were still shooting in Da Mu Palace.
