The Dragonblade Ninja and Phantom following closely behind Wang Fugui tried to decipher his intentions through the psychic connection shared among psychics.

"How much do you think you've understood?"

"Seventy to eighty percent? But I'm not sure if what I grasped was intentionally planted misinformation."

"Compare notes?"

After so consideration, Phantom transmitted psychically: "He doesn't belong to our company. Choosing us for security work probably isn't about wanting to join us, but because we're second only to the Corporation in psychic research."

"Gaoxin Industries is pro-Corporation—they're far beyond civilian science. This likely refers to the Corporation developing new psychic technology to widen the gap again. The Extre Purists probably represent old humans and so dissenters, even relatively outdated batches of new humans."

"Combined with later context, it feels like hinting the Corporation plans to overturn the table completely with irreversible human hyper-evolution, and we need to unite?"

Dragonblade Ninja disagreed: "Really? I think the 'union' refers to factions within the Corporation? 'Non-local' points to Qi Shiming, while 'local' ans new factions trying to steal achievents. The resistance army hints at this too."

"That resistance army seems hired by him to play clowns—probably both warning locals and expressing a 'non-resistance' attitude?"

"From a warning perspective, it's like the Corporation is splitting. The new leaders aren't as capable as Senior Qi Shiming but are good at using others to eliminate threats—lacking tolerance. Combined with your view, it also hints so have been deeply infiltrated by Corporation agents and given up resistance?"

Both interpretations seed unreliable yet sowhat plausible.

Dragonblade Ninja and Phantom felt the frustration intelligence workers faced dealing with riddles.

Dragonblade Ninja ended the discussion: "Enough. At our level, we'll never uncover the truth. Wild guesses leading to mistakes are worse than not guessing. We've already relayed the content to Intelligence. Let's just gather evidence."

Phantom pondered: "But what's his evidence? How did he get this intel?"

Dragonblade Ninja speculated: "...Do you think he'll die after that bold public speech? How?"

Phantom understood: "Common sense says no—those capable of killing him rarely act over rash words, and many besides us would protect him. But if this is his last gamble, his life-or-death might be part of the truth."

"Perhaps many will witness his death."

"Don't you think... he's beco 'warr'?"

Dragonblade Ninja ignored this, changing topics: "The event site's fine—livestream shows calm. What do you think Sisi and the rookie will do after finishing their tasks?"

Having just dismissed the event staff and crowd, Mo Wen eagerly anticipated using the learning device to cram knowledge—until a military-grade augnted soldier approached.

The Life Pharmaceuticals emblem on his chest stood out conspicuously.

He smiled mildly: "Hello, Mr. Mo Wen. I didn't expect to encounter you on this mission—perhaps fate's guidance."

"You likely don't know . Briefly, I'm a friend of Vanessa, the military augnt you killed recently."

Mo Wen frowned: "Revenge?"

The visitor shook his head: "Not entirely. She attacked first—her death was fair."

"But she was an excellent prophet, a respectable friend, a kind-hearted person. When soone sacrifices everything for a cause while protecting friends from involvent, who could dismiss her final effort as delusion?"

"I believe her—you must have warranted her abandoning everything to kill you."

"But prophecies aren't absolute. Her reasons might not convince everyone."

"I'd like to briefly examine your thoughts."

Though Mo Wen had few true regrets, his mind wasn't sothing to be casually probed. He doubted this would end with just a look.

"I refuse!"

The visitor persisted: "Truly? Vanessa had many friends beyond . Our influence extends beyond Life Pharmaceuticals."

"Even battlefield enemies might honor her mory, setting aside stances to investigate why she fought to the death—for humanity's potentially dire future."

"Are you prepared to face so many attackers?"

Mo Wen declared firmly: "Let them co! I'll take them all on."

The visitor relented: "Very well, I understand your stance."

"Then may you live without regrets."

His figure abruptly vanished. Mo Wen instantly realized sothing was amiss. Checking his augntation logs, he was stunned—no record of this person existed.

Psychic illusions? Or his augntations hacked?

He urgently contacted Ren Sisi via team comms: "Did you see that Life Pharmaceuticals augnted near ? He claid to be friends with Vanessa, the augnt I killed."

"Saw nothing." Without doubting Mo Wen's sanity, Ren Sisi imdiately accessed Vanessa's social network. "Describe his augnts, special markings... no, that's inefficient. Just identify from the network I'm sending."

Mo Wen scanned Vanessa's connections: "No matches."

"But my augnts can convert mory images to data. Sending visuals—analyze this."

Receiving the image, Ren Sisi cross-referenced the company database and made a swift discovery.

"That's a standard visage of the Corporation's agent—'Invisible'! He manifests countless avatars, projecting himself into others' minds—a Class α psychic at Energy Level 5!"

Ren Sisi panicked: "Why is soone like that targeting you?! Evacuate! Return to base now! I've requested corporate backup."

"No ti for helicopters—run! Use your psychic power! Don't let them catch you."

Mo Wen nearly bolted at full speed—but sothing felt off.

He bluffed habitually: "Invisible, why make use psychic power?"

No dramatic reveal occurred—no shock from Invisible lifting his power to expose the truth. Only Ren Sisi's confused voice: "Mo Wen, what are you saying?"

Without answering, Mo Wen struck his own head with lethal intent.
