Dream Corporation Branch 16, dical Departnt Director’s Office.

Mo Wen, a man who no longer rembered his exact age, had just erged from the rejuvenation tank with a fresh body and was experiencing his first ti “selling flesh.”

“I always feel like this isn’t quite right. Are you sure not many people will toy with my body?”

Ren Yiyi flicked the contract in her hand. “This is the best offer you’re going to get. Sign it if you want; if you don’t, you won’t have any protection. Then who knows what soone might do to you.”

“Besides, don’t delude yourself into thinking you’re still pure.”

“During the ti you were unconscious, your body already went through all sorts of postures under my adjustnts.”

“You absolutely cannot imagine how beautiful your body really is.”

Mo Wen was a little curious. “It’s just a pile of rotten flesh. What charm could it possibly have?”

A hint of fanaticism flashed in Ren Yiyi’s eyes. “As long as it’s well-nourished, it can proliferate rapidly with an almost infinite division ceiling. It can divide a thousand tis with flawless precision. It has excellent tolerance to extre high and low temperatures, and with moderate induction, it quickly produces adaptive mutations.”

“Unfortunately, so parts are still difficult to clone completely.”

“If possible, I’d like to extract so of your brain tissue from when you were active… Well, actually, I’ve already extracted it, but I decided to ask for your permission anyway, so you know what I’m doing.”

“This is very important. It could definitely change the world.”

Mo Wen thought for a mont and felt it was fine. “As long as it doesn’t harm and you ensure it’s used for your own research first, without mass replicating as raw material, I agree.”

Saying that, he took the contract from Ren Yiyi’s hand and signed his na.

Mo Wen didn’t mind being studied, but he strongly disliked being treated like raw material—genetic modification drugs, brain surgeries, all derived from extracting the essence of his clones and then twisting it onto others.

Putting aside the cloning problem, it felt subtly like becoming a cheap second-generation progenitor for others. If they directly created people based on him, that would an offspring everywhere, which was weird. If they produced a Death-Denier battle group with universal father complexes, that would be a complete disaster.

If new mutants were bred based on him and those artificial beings were used as raw materials, that would be another matter—kind of like Homo sapiens eating Neanderthals; it wouldn’t concern him directly.

Ren Yiyi put the signed contract into a sealed bag and handed it to a nearby transport drone.

Now everything could be AI-generated, including handwriting and online signatures, but personally writing your na still carried a certain weight. The Corporation would witness this contract and ensure other companies wouldn’t abuse Mo Wen’s body.

According to Dream Corporation’s current strategy, no samples of Mo Wen’s body would be released before any research results.

After watching the transport drone fly away, Ren Yiyi sincerely said to Mo Wen, “Congratulations on becoming a new employee of Dream Corporation, joining the Field Operations Departnt… I actually wanted you to join the dical Departnt as a research subject.”

“But since you’re unwilling, I won’t force you.”

“However, I’m still your recomnder. If you have any questions, feel free to ask .”

Mo Wen hesitated for a mont but then straightforwardly asked, “Speaking of which, you seem really good at ntal suggestion surgeries, and you implanted that ‘Dream Creator’ in my brain… Was I brainwashed, or is it that when the ti cos, you just give an order and my head explodes?”

Ren Yiyi shook her head. “Your brain structure is different from normal humans. Regular ntal suggestion won’t work on you.”

“However, for physical brain surgeries that could cause serious damage, I can’t say for sure. After all, your brain structure and function are still broadly similar to ours.”

“Of course, as an excellent doctor, I won’t perform surgeries that cause severe trauma.”

“As for the ‘Dream Creator,’ I participated in its developnt. It’s a psychic enhancent augnt designed for high-level special use. Naturally, it doesn’t have such a trigger device, but if you forcibly disable the Dream Creator, it might cause that overwhelmingly powerful psychic energy to go out of control, possibly leading to brain death.”

“And besides and a few others, no one else can maintain it well. That’s also a kind of safeguard. If you don’t like it, work hard to beco the world’s best augnt doctor.”

“Also, can you tell what your psychic abilities are? You probably have a vague sense of them by now.”

Mo Wen wasn’t too sure. “Super endurance king and ‘acceleration’?”

“I feel like I’m more resistant to being killed. This ti, if I got a headshot and my brain splattered everywhere, maybe I could reassemble myself, grow arms and legs from the brain, fly, and keep fighting.”

“As for ‘acceleration’…”

Mo Wen stretched out his hand toward Ren Yiyi. Although he didn’t exert much force and caused no obvious indirect effects, it was as if an ordinary person casually reached out, but the speed was abnormally fast.

Ren Yiyi pushed his hand away, roughly understanding his psychic effects. “It definitely matches an alpha-plus-level talent index, defying physical laws and brazenly declaring your power.”

“Ti is just an illusion entirely based on human cognition; its essence is the observation and summary of particle movent processes, yet you possess this abnormal ‘acceleration.’”

“It likely has much more potential to develop and might open up a special tech tree. Don’t waste yourself.”

Mo Wen said earnestly, “Of course, I would never give up any chance to beco stronger.”

Psychic power intensity in this world’s rules is divided into two parts: index and level.

The index ranges from gamma, which only obeys cold physical laws and possesses precognition; beta, which can resist rules to so extent and shows various abnormalities; and alpha, which brazenly defies rules head-on.

On top of that, there are stronger plus signs and weaker minus signs.

The index is basically fixed unless one undergoes a major event that reshapes oneself.

Researchers have no clue how to increase the index and can only explore it indirectly through suggestions and illegal mory reprogramming.

Moreover, psychics can learn other abilities that don’t exceed their own index through long training, but current research has only made gamma-level abilities universal, beta-level can be suppressed and erased, and alpha-level remains incomprehensible.

As for the level, it indicates what extent the psychic power can achieve: a level 1 gamma psychic may only read traces, while level 5 might pre-read decades-old pasts whose traces have long been erased.

But from level 4 onward, psychics might face brain death, body disintegration, and cognitive chaos when using their powers and often rely on augnt restrictions.

At this mont, Mo Wen had suddenly beco one of the strongest humanoid beings in the world.

If he could fully master his psychic power and adapt to his augntations, with complete equipnt, he would be formidable.

Of course, if he encountered a true giant war machine, he would still have to run.

Just like the military-grade augnted soldier Mo Wen had just taken down—so long as it retained humanoid form and lacked special psychic power, it was just crispy skin that could be taken out with a few shots, and the firepower humanoids could carry was normally unable to break through shields.
