"So I was right…" The Ancestor murmured while nodding and smiling joyously. "Devour is found!"
"Devour?" Imdiately sothing triggered in my mind. Sothing which I had forgotten in the hecticness of the situation.
[Take that you bastard!] I rember Alia Dragonos snarling viciously. [I know you've got your hands on devour! Now go to sleep… and let cut you up like a pig like you did to my cha!]
"Oh my God. Alia Dragonos knows I have devour! She said that before she splashed so sort of green virus on that invaded my body and destroyed almost every bit of my red energy!" I shouted.
"Alia Dragonos? The Russian Fifth Princess?" The Ancestor asked. "Why am I only hearing about it now?"
The Ancestor glared at Bruce.
"Heheh, they must have forgotten to debrief him. You know that the Whitefrost Clan had a near tragedy recently, right." Bruce answered rather sheepishly.
"WHICH is no excuse at all. I understand. I will get the Secretary to reprimand Russel imdiately for negligence of duty to the Federation and fine them heavily-"
"Forget it." The Ancestor growled. "The damage is done. We will need Russel and his clansn at full strength very soon. No point picking a little bone with him at such a critical juncture."
"You, boy. I want everything you know, and I want it yesterday!" The Ancestor turned to and ordered.
Without further hesitation, I spilled everything out. From the junkyard, to the Red Dragon Gang base, to the Lake Andrews base, and to the subsequent battle and escape.
"So you have the power of a white cha and eight blue chas within you now?" Bruce asked incredulously after hearing my story.
"A weak travesty of a white cha which the Russians cobbled together, apparently. But yes, a white cha nonetheless." I nodded.
Bruce turned to look at the Ancestor with an excited gleam in his eyes. "Your prophecy… It is coming true! I never thought…"
"Indeed it is coming true. And what our next decision here will determine the speed at which the prophecy will be fulfilled." The Ancestor nodded.
"Before that, I'd like a briefing about the current situation, if that's ok with you." I asked half-sarcastically. As the main player, I had the right to know things! How am I supposed to be the dragon that brings the Federation to glory if I don't know anything?
"You will receive all the information you'll need to know later. For now, all you need to know is that the cha you ingested is called devour, and is one of six experintal cha cores that humanity had developed from an alien cha which crashed near Beijing at the end of the 22nd century.
In fact, the third world war was fought because of this alien cha. The Europeans, Aricans and Russians invaded us from all directions when talks regarding the division of the cha broke down.
And at the end of the war which we lost, the Europeans claid the cha's weapons system, the Aricans claid the cha's armor system, the Russians claid the cha's biotech and we are left with the cha's movent system.
We know that the Europeans had developed two experintal cha cores with two extrely distinct powers. Full armor piercing weapons as well as a Godlike targeting system that cannot miss.
The Aricans had developed two experintal cores as well. Full damage immunity and pure stealth.
The Russians, as you know, have their superhumans. But they did not manage to successfully incorporate biotech into their chas. Oh they tried, to a degree of success. But they are nowhere close to the power level that the Europeans and Aricans are at now." The Ancestor gave a quick summary of the current situation.
"What about us?" I quickly asked. "What did we develop?"
"We got their movent system. On the surface, we got the short end of the stick. All we managed to do was to create an experintal cha core which could boost our chas' speed and maneuverability. But in actual fact…" The Ancestor's face turned rather sly at that mont as he paused for effect.
"What? Quick! Tell !" I cried out impatiently.
"In actual fact, you'll know when you know." The Ancestor laughed.
"Agh, Ancestor! Why are you doing this to ?" I whined like an ordinary ten year old.
"You'll know soon enough. I'm not going to give up Emma's edge for her first battle with you later on." The Ancestor grinned like a little boy anticipating watching a new episode of his favorite show.
"Emma?" My mind whirred at full speed and I finally realized Emma's secret.
"Yes. Like you, she has a cha core within her. But because she's too young, the cha core isn't activated. Otherwise she wouldn't have any issues escaping from her captors." The Ancestor sighed. "She must have gone through alot. I need to visit her soon."
"So that's why the Europeans kidnapped her. They want her cha core." I imdiately deduced. "Did they succeed in taking it out of her?"
"Ha! They didn't. If Alia Dragonos was involved as you say, their kidnappers probably crossed them and sold them off to the Russians, who had no idea why the Europeans wanted the girl really badly. So they rely did as many tests and checks as they could, and then dumped her at the nearest base. The local gangs probably sold off her organs secretly.
Which reminds . If Russel Whitefrost doesn't have the balls to wipe out those gangs and their secret sponsors, you go and lead a team to wipe them out. To the very last dog. By the ti you're done, I want to be able to go to their bases and enjoy my ten million dollar red wine in perfect peace. If a single dog's bark was to ruin my wine tasting mont, I'll pay for the wine from your bonus." The Ancestor growled at Bruce.
"Don't worry. I believe Russel's Red Dragon and Monkey King Battalions are currently fully deployed on his Revenge Crusade. In fact, he might have overreacted a little bit by deploying his reservists as well." Bruce hastily inford the Ancestor.
