The Undying Immortal System Book 4 Afterword

Hello again everyone,

First, today was a double chapter, and yesterday's chapter was the length of two chapters in one, so the next chapter will no be released until Tuesday. While this may be disappointing, I thought it was better to have 263 follow 262 imdiately.

Now, onto my thoughts for Volu 4.

You may have noticed that several plot threads were not exactly wrapped up and that there is still a lot for Fang to accomplish with his new clan, even more than normal for this series. The reason for this is that Volus 4 and 5 were originally planned out as a single book. Where we are at now was supposed to be about 60% of the way through Volu 4, but Volu 4 is already at 170k words though. I knew that completing it would push it to 300k words or beyond, so I decided to go ahead and break it here. This also gives more space to let the next steps in Fang's plans breath. Quite frankly, he still has a lot to get done.

So, yes, a lot of plot threads won't be wrapped up until Volu 5, but I hope that recent events have felt like a suitable conclusion to Volu 4.

Unfortunately, I do not yet have a temporary book cover for Volu 5 yet. I've tried, but forcing AI to generate the cover I want wasn't working. I'll have to work on it in the coming days.
