"Hengyu, you..."

The figure walked closer, turning to see the scene and slightly lifted the corners of his lips, about to speak. But he noticed a familiar person among them and his gaze darkened imdiately as he asked doubtfully, "Little Zhi?"

Ying Hengyu turned his face slightly towards Rong ng who stood two steps away from him, curled his lips and sneered, "Didn’t I tell you not to call Hengyu?"

Rong ng’s face turned pale, she pressed her lips and spoke softly, "I’m... sorry, I didn’t an to. Just now, I ca out with Hengxiang from the bookstore and saw you here, so I wanted to confirm it was you..."

"Hengxiang?" Ying Hengyu frowned, "He ca out too?"

Rong ng nodded, smiling gently, "Yes, I said I was thirsty, and he went to buy milk tea for . By the way, why are you and Little Zhi here? And..."

She squinted slightly at Rong Zhi who was still playing gas in the field.

Ying Hengyu looked up, quite impatiently, "Wherever I want to go with Third Brother, do I need you to care? And stop hovering around us for no reason, you’re an eyesore."

Rong ng’s mouth froze in a smile.

Just as Rong ng was about to speak and find herself a way out, a warm yet slightly displeased male voice suddenly ca from behind her.

"Ying Hengyu, when will you ever control that bad temper? What if when you join the company next year, you talk to the employees with that tone?"

Ying Hengyu’s expression went cold imdiately.

Bai Tingxun and Jiang Gujun sensed sothing was off and stood not far behind him, quietly observing the situation unfold.

The Ying family might have so genetic inheritance; the current head of the Ying Family has two sons in this generation, twins.

The older brother Ying Hengyu was born healthy, while the younger brother Ying Hengxiang was frail and weak, put into an incubator right after birth, maintained there. The doctor said that during pregnancy, Ying Hengyu took his brother’s nutrients, leading to Ying Hengxiang being undernourished and sickly.

Due to his health issues, Ying Hengxiang pursued dical studies.

The young man who walked over had the sa sharp features as Ying Hengyu, soft black hair obediently tucked behind the ears, silver-rimd glasses perched on his face, and behind the lenses, the eyes reflected cool coldness, almost unruly.

Ying Hengyu crossed his arms, squinting his eyes, "Why waste your ti worrying about here when you’re about to go abroad and yet still accompany irrelevant people around?"

Rong ng felt a stabbing pain at his words ’irrelevant people’.

Why could he treat Rong Zhi like a brother, but not her like a sister?

How was she inferior to Rong Zhi?

Ying Hengxiang’s gaze didn’t change as he handed the milk tea to Rong ng, speaking leisurely, "Cousin is not irrelevant; she’s family, besides, didn’t you acknowledge the Third Young Master of the Rong Family as your brother?"

He paused, then pulled out a slow smile, "Self-indulgent."

The tone was mild, yet inexplicably sarcastic, as if he was remarking on what sort of creature Rong Zhi was.

Ying Hengyu was instantly infuriated, clenching his fists, warning, "I suggest you watch your mouth."

"Are you planning to fight here?" Ying Hengxiang chuckled, his gaze indifferent and cynical, "Ying Hengyu, do you believe that if you dare touch today, your beloved race car will be dismantled by Mom tomorrow?"

He slightly elevated his chin, with an expression that dared, ’Co if you have the guts.’

Ying Hengyu’s fiery temper almost led him to action right there, but as he just put on a serious face and stepped out, a long leg suddenly interjected across everyone’s view.

The young man turned his face as he approached, patting Ying Hengyu’s shoulder, "The race is over, not leaving yet?"

Ying Hengyu imdiately composed his expression into a light smile, "Leaving now, did Third Brother finish? Did you win?"

Rong Zhi slightly raised an eyebrow, speaking boldly, "What do you think?"

Unable to win a kindergarten kid’s race would be shaful.

Ying Hengyu gave an exaggerated response, "Aweso! My Third Brother is the best!"

Rong Zhi nodded, leading the way forward, not once glancing back at anyone.

Rong ng opened her mouth wanting to call her, but rembering Rong Zhi’s performance that stole the spotlight at the introduction banquet, she stifled the thought, biting her molar, suddenly recalling soone and exhaling a breath, laying her mind at rest.

She didn’t believe, grabbing hold of Rong Zhi’s lifeline, she couldn’t play her to death.

anwhile, Ying Hengxiang looked at Rong Zhi’s back with a semblance of a smile.

Indeed a waste, only fit to play with another waste, huh.

-

Rong Zhi undoubtedly won first place over a bunch of parents in a bumper car race, but she didn’t have ti to receive the prize. Tang Xuyun called her away, and she could only ask Jiang Gujun to help send Bai Tingxun back to the company while she drove to Lan’er Sanatorium.
