Breathing ragged breaths, Yuma knew this battle was over. But still, she didn’t give up yet staring at the unconscious jack.

’At least I can buy him so ti.’ she thought with a light smile. The atmosphere was reverting back to normal, which ant Karrie was done with whatever bizzare stuff she conjured.

"Co on!" Yuma scread with bloodshot eyes. Her body was in pain and covered with injuries all over, but she gritted her teeth through it. She was once a slave bound to the goblin king, but in a weird twist of fate jack had freed her.

’Thud.’ The two headed ogre finally tossed the cyclops head, having lost interest in it. His eyes fixed on Yuma sparkling excitedly.

"I do love a good show before al." The ogre grinned with a sickening smile. Not rushing he calmly made his way to Yuma, the strange green axe clutched in his hand.

"Co on goblin, show your worth!" He moved, increasing his pace. Not waiting, Yuma glanced a final look at jack.

"Till we et again." With that her body blurred from sight, shooting in a straight line to the anomaly ogre. She didn’t have the luxury to stay on defense, so attacking would be the best option.

Moving her hands, she rapidly slashed at the ogre with what little energy she had left. But it was futile, as the two headed ogre dodged all her attacks. Swinging his arm, the blue axe moved with insane speed crashing down to Yuma.

"Argh!" She gritted her teeth flung back into a tree. Her daggers destroyed from the impact, shattered into tiny fragnts. Attempting to move a sharp pain struck her, feeling so bones in her body broken.

"No~ it wasn’t ant to end like this." She muttered feeling her body freeze. Her face turned pale, seeing the nacing creature approaching her with steady steps.

The strange blue axe, reaching about 4 feat grazing across the ground. Igniting small sparks of flas.

’I failed again, t-this is the end.’ Balls of tears stread down Yuma’s face, seeing her end near. She had so many regrets and unfulfilled wishes she planned out. But now, she wasn’t going to receive the chance to do so.

"Any last wish goblin?" The ogre snarled, displaying it’s sharp teeth. Shaking her head indicating there was none, the monster raised his axe upwards.

’Swoosh!’ The axe descended fast to Yuma, crashing to the ground with a small explosion. Clouds of dust were risen which soon settled, making a frown appear on the ogre’s face.

’She evaded my hit?’ It wondered not seeing Yuma there.

"I leave you for so minutes and you decide to mythr yourself." A soft voice uttered with a scoff. Looking, Yuma didn’t imdiately recognize this individual but she clearly recognized the voice.

"K-karrie?" She stuttered in disbelief. Unlike before, the fox woman had a mixture of black and white fur. But now, her fur was completely black like coal.

Her dark nails elongated, forming small claws and even her eyes were now blood red.

"W-what happened? You’ve changed!" Yuma exclaid. She didn’t look anything like before, but a demon from the depths of hell.

"No ti to explain." Dropping Yuma besides jack, karrie dashed towards the two headed ogre calmly staring at her.

’Clang! clang!’

tal clashing against each other resounded, as the two powerhouses battled for dominance. The ogre furiously swinging his axe, blocking Karrie’s rapid claw slashes.

’She’s matching with his speed and strength, how is this even possible!?’ Yuma questioned, seeing karrie pushing the ogre. she barely managed to make a scratch to his edge.

’Even in this form I can’t get rid of it that easily.’ A frown appeared on Karrie’s face, seeing the ogre not backing down. Her mind racing fast on what to do with limited ti.

’I didn’t think I’d have to use this skill twice.’

Seeing his axe approaching she didn’t block or dodge, but grabbed it with her right hand. Stopping the axe montarily.

Not stopping she muttered so words, causing the ground to rumble a bit. Along with several dark tendrils sprouting from the ground, wrapping the ogre’s body.

Struggling to break free the dark tendrils was effective, wrapping onto him more like snakes coiling to it’s prey.

"Phough!" Karrie coughed up fresh blood going to a knee. Her breath was raspy void of life, and her vision was rapidly decreasing.

"T-that should hold him until i-" she didn’t finish her words, seeing the ogre break through the black tendrils.

’I-it broke free, but how?’

"You think that can hold ? Let show you true power!" A blue light excluded from his body, getting bigger by the second.

"Shield!" More tendrils sprouted from the ground. joining together forming a strange rectangular shield, covering Karrie and the duo.

’Boom!’ An explosion occured, blasting off blue energy radiating with power. The ground where the ogre stood caved in, relinquishing it’s stand.

Nearby objects like trees and stones were blasted into bits. The swampy waters chucked up by this incredible force, shifting them out of proportion.

"Shit. He’s stronger than I anticipated." Karrie grunted, her hands stretched forth. The black shield stood no match against this power, with visible cracks on it. Forcing up more tendrils, wrapping around it for reinforcent.

’I can’t go all out or I’ll die for sure, and I only have 30 seconds left.’ Thinking of what to do, an idea popped up in Karrie’s mind.

"Dark blessing!" She shouted, her hand stretched to a particular individual. The black tendrils leaving the shield enveloping jack.

"Don’t look away from !" The ogre roared grabbing Karrie by the neck, lifting her up a bit. There was a sadistic grin plastered to his faces staring at her.

"Y-you’ll never win." Karrie stuttered, struggling to breathe under this ogre’s tight grasp. Her body had reverted back to the normal black and white.

Along with the strange supernatural power fading from her, leaving her in her primary state.

"I’ll be the judge of that." Swiftly moving his hand, he slamd the axe to her gut.

"Ahh!" A sharp scream escaped her mouth, along with so mouthful of blood. Not satisfied, the ogre plunged the axe more deeper into her guts reaching halfway.

’I-i can’t believe this is the end.’ Looking up, there was nothing she could do. She’d exhausted all her trump cards, and was now spent.

Many thoughts flashed through her mind in that blink mont. Mostly about her past, being a young fox growing up till this mont. Sure there were so trials, but there were also so good tis she enjoyed.

One of which was the introduction of jack in her life.

"It was fun while it lasted." A weak smile ford on her face, feeling the life draining out from her.

"Roar!!" An ear deafening roar was released by the ogre, holding Karrie’s severed body like a trophy.

Back in the swampy area, just near the entrance to the hidden ogre settlent layed several dead bodies. All brutally killed and scattered across the muddy field.

"No~" jack uttered, seeing the dead bodies of the people from both kilroi and the goblin village.

"You did this." His eyes lingered on a certain ogre, observing him in front. It wasn’t like any of the rest ogre’s he’d killed. Having a more shorter height, and a more humanoid fra than the rest.

Getting up he froze in his steps, staring at the severed body of a familiar face.

"K-karrie~" he barely uttered in disbelief. He’d seen Yuma besides him when he woke, and confird she was still alive. So he expected the sa for karrie, but it seems fate had other plans.

"She was a feisty one. Hard to kill I tell ya." The ogre chuckled with a smug grin, further enraging jack.

’Rumble!!’

The ground beneath his feet rumbled, threatening to collapse from the raw force of his jack’s aura. Red veiny lines bulged on his arm, along with the strange black tendrils sprouting from the ground wrapping around him.

They didn’t inflict any damage whatsoever, but instead ford a strange black armour.

"This is going to be interesting." The ogre grinned with a mischievous glint in his eyes. He could clearly feel the impact of Jack’s aura, causing him to skid back a bit.

"I’ll show you feisty." Jack spoke in a coarse gutteral voice. His eyes turning blood red, with the protrusion of a single dark spike from his back.
