Ding!

The elevator sound rang along with it’s doors sliding open. And out from it erged tow figures. Calmly making their way through the corridor to an empty room.

Please sir. Marcus gestured taking a seat besides max.

Wow old man, you’ve really outdone yourself huh. A lewd smile ford on Mac face staring at the grand room filled with priceless artifacts.

You must’ve done a lot of bad things to get this, am I right? Max smiled blankly staring at Marcus. Maintaining his light smile Marcus ignored max words.

If bad things includes serving my people and being showered with gifts then yes. I’ve done a lot. Marcus said earning a light scoff from max.

Why did you summon here old man, who’s the target? Max impatiently asked tapping his fingers to the desk.

The target is . Marcus uttered making max face contort to a frown.

Don’t tell you’re loosing your sense of hearing old man. I won’t ask twice, who’s the target?

Like I said before, . Marcus smiled making a vein appear to the leader of the elites crow head.

Bam!

Damn it old man don’t play with ! I-i could kill you right here. Max fud. Pulling out his black eagle eye gun with a silencer pointed to Marcus head.

Exactly.. standing up Marcus proceeded towards the huge glass window. His gaze focused down to the crowds of people.

Am sure you’re well aware of the fact Bryce has created an orange orb. He said to which max nodded.

And you’re also aware of the secret project silence he’s been working on?

Yeah, what does any of that have to do with this? Max frowned not seeing the sense in what Marcus said.

Sighing the latter dipped his hand into his suit pulling out the sa brand of cigarettes max smoked.

I didn’t know you smoke old man. You know those things will kill ya. Max teased with a smug grin.

I only started this as a relief from life. To be honest it’s quite effective than you think. He stated taking so small puffs.

And besides.. we’re already dead anyways. Marcus declared his expression turning sour.

What do you an we’re all dead? Max frowned.

Apparently I just had a vision before you arrived.

A vision? Yeah you need to lay off the smoke for a while. Max rolled his eyes a bit annoyed. At first he’d thought an erging threat unaware to him was coming. But apparently it seems like for the very first ti the president was high.

Am very well conscious of my words so listen to carefully. Things are spiralling out of control lately and the continents are already divided as it is. The initiation of sentinels was ant to be an aide than a bore on the people.

Pausing Marcus took a sip from the half full glass of scotch on the desk. The only way to end this is to kill and end the pain of making watch as everything I built crumbles.

Listening to Marcus max was definitely surprised seeing the forr this way. He was usually carefree and full of life during their etings but now he’d undergone a personality change.

And they say am crazy. Max scoffed slightly shaking his head.

Killing you won’t solve the problem at hand but only add more to it. A nation without a ruler will fall faster than one with an imbecile ruler. Sa goes for the three continents.

Now I don’t normally say this but we need you old man. Hearing him a bright smile ford on Marcus face.

Haha, soone’s going soft on

You wish, am still contemplating on if to kill you. Max sarcastically said with a weird grin.

Sighing Marcus didn’t utter a word for the next few seconds contemplating on sothing.

You’re right the target isn’t , it’s Bryce Harper.

****************

Ouch! Couldn’t you be a bit gentle. Jack frowned clutching his right arm.

Stop being such a crybaby, I haven’t even started the main process yet. Casper said rolling his eyes. His little claws elongated stained with blood from none other than jack.

Then why the hell have you been clawing at for the past few minutes! Jack yelled in anger.

When Casper had ntioned bonding with him he expected a contract signing or sothing civilized. But unfortunately it was none of the two but a more barbaric act. Still he accepted because of certain reasons.

This is a very vital part mister. I had to test your body to see if it was compatible with mine. Casper purred with a smug grin annoying jack more.

Well, is it?

Yes, now we can fully beginning. With that a thin red line shot out from Casper’s chest. Hitting jack directly in the heart, making him cough up fresh blood.

He imdiately felt his body grow weak making him fall to the ground. Followed by an incredible imnse stinging pain coursing throughout his whole body.

What the hell, you didn’t say you were trying to kill . Jack frowned seeing his trust easily betrayed by this majestic feline.

Tsk. Bonding with a mythic creature isn’t a walk in the park sunny. Casper scoffed disgusted by jack’s weakness.

Well don’t bla for caring about my life your highness. Jack’s sarcastically muttered making Casper roll his eyes.

To create a life there must be death. This is the will of the universe. Hearing Casper quote that line made Jack’s eye squinch.

He clearly knew what it ant but he could tell there was a deeper aning. And what’s worse was he could also tell the cat was referring to him.

[Bonding in process]

The system screen popped up in his eyes. And he could feel his blood being drained through the thread with Casper’s.

[User might feel so slight discomfort..]

Slight discomfort what does that- argh!! He scread in pain feeling a sharp sensation strike his heart. It was like a thousand sound were piercing his body at once.

Attempting to move he couldn’t. The sheering pain blocking his senses of movent. Glancing at the cat there was a smug grin plastered to it’s face. Seemingly enjoying this.

I-i shouldn’t have trusted him. Jack grunted. He had his doubts but still went with it having no choice.

Tsk.. I didn’t know humans could be this dramatic. Casper scoffed rolling his eyes.

That should be enough. He said retracting the thread from jack.

[Bonding process 20%..]

[Link has been severed!]

[Congratulations user on completing the hidden requirents..]

Several notifications flashed across Jack’s eye. He was still in a lot of pain and his vision slightly blurry. But he could keep up with them.

What does it an hidden requirents? He wondered hopping it was a good thing.

[Evolution process will now begin.]

The next set of words caught him off guard followed by a much more imnse pain.

Argh!! He scread out loud writhing on the floor. Before his very eyes his skin lted on its own revealing his white bones. Which soon regenerated by a new layer of skin at the sa pace.

His bones were also not spared breaking into tiny fragnts then being rejoined together by a strange force.

Mfg- he wanted to speak but only coughed up fresh blood. Gritting his teeth through the sheering pain overwhelming his entire body.

He’d read and heard about rumors of the MC in a fantasy novel evolution process. But he always debunked the idea as a myth until now.

Hehe now this is entertainnt. Casper smiled his two big erald eyes glowing brightly.

After about 20 minutes of constant tornt and anguish the pain reduced a bit. Dying out and replaced with a more soothing sensation.

[Congratulations user on successfully evolving into an E ranked undead!]

[You have gained a new class!]

[You have unlocked new skills!]

[System interface has been optimized!]

...

Inside a huge laboratory the tapping of tal resounded in a spacious empty room. A strange diabolical creation of so sort strapped to several wires stood in a big pod filled with blue liquid.

Sir we have a problem. A young male scientist barged in. A worried expression plastered over his face.

Yes, what is it. Bryce frowned holding a wrench standing by the pod.

T-the president.. it seems he’s broken the agreent and ordered for our arrest. Sending the elite crows. The man uttered in a scared tone.

Haha.. that bastard, I always knew he was a coward. Bryce softly chuckled shaking his head a bit. He’d predicted Marcus being the bias saint he acted would breach their agreent. But never did he expect Marcus to send group of assassin’s disguised as Ender’s officials.

It doesn’t matter he’s already too late. Typing sothings on the holographic keyboard the liquid in the pod suddenly began boiling.

Sir, don’t tell you’re -

Speeding the regeneration process? Yes, I am. Without thinking twice he brought out a gun. Killing the young man without a shroud of doubt.

It’s ti to cleanse the earth of impurities. Looking to the pod an eerie smile ford on his face putting on a strange helt connected with wires.

Let the purge begin. He said placing the gun to his head and squeezing the trigger.
