[Mission Level: Cunning Evil Snake - Nirair's Hidden Path]

[Mission Objective: Kill all reanimated tomb guards in the passage]

[Mission Ti: Within 15 minutes]

....

Stepping into the dark purple vortex entrance, Lu Yuan, piloting the Blue Falcon III cha, began to see a slew of information and dramatic cutscenes pass before his eyes.

These animations and information were not unfamiliar to Lu Yuan, for Lu Qiyuan had attempted this level many tis, making it more than familiar.

The first chapter of the single-player adventure mode tells the story of an ancient evil monarch nad Nirair.

Legend has it that to pursue strength and immortality, he sacrificed the entire kingdom to an ancient evil god in the Black Abyss.

Over a thousand years after the age of Nirair's dark reign, his tomb was accidentally uncovered.

And as elite warriors of the most powerful empire of the era, Duoling, Lu Yuan and these adventurers' mission was to explore the tomb of the evil monarch, gradually uncovering historical truths buried for millennia, and thwart those evil plans once again stirring from the shadows.....

"A nice storyline setting...."

For Lu Yuan, these storyline introductions and cutscenes were a first.

When the flash-like scenes vanished, he steadily landed in a dim environnt, piloting the Blue Falcon III.

It was a massive ancient tomb passage, about ten ters wide, with the ceiling twenty ters above the ground.

To ordinary people, such a space is considered quite spacious.

But for a cha... it's just barely passable.

Through the detection system of the Blue Falcon III cha, even in dim light, visibility was not too low.

Lu Yuan saw burning torches hung on the walls on both sides of the passage, with many bizarre serpent-like patterns inscribed in the corners of the tomb path.

The whole environnt was filled with a faint oppressive atmosphere.

Lu Yuan slowly drew the black dual swords from his back, walking forward along the tomb passage step by step.

The Blue Falcon III was positioned as "Scout" in the first-level cha, with excellent speed and agility, possessing strong recon and anti-recon capabilities.

It had certain long-range attack thods, but its primary offensive weapons were still two specialized alloy single-handed swords, classified as a "Close-range" cha.

Lu Yuan took two steps forward, with sounds of sothing rapidly scratching the ground erging from the dark corner ahead.

A massive shadow suddenly sprang forth the next second, shrieking as it leapt towards him.

Lu Yuan's expression remained unchanged, swiftly maneuvering the cha to dash forward, dodging the shadow's assault by crouching, and simultaneously crossing and slashing with his legs.

"Screech—"

The shrill sound of weapons clashing and scraping, with many tiny sparks burst forth in the darkness.

"Chop—boom!"

Sothing was cut and the sound of heavy objects falling rang out.

Lu Yuan turned back.

The shadow that just attacked him had already fallen.

It was a giant snake-man.

Its lower body was like a python's giant tail, while its upper body was human.

Wearing ancient attire reminiscent of a war skirt, with a helt, holding a spear which was now broken.

This snake-man's upper body was cut along with the weapon a third of the way off by Lu Yuan, yet there was no trace of blood from the incision, as its entire form was made of rock.

These were ancient warriors who sacrificed their lives to the evil god, with bodies fully transford into statues under the perating modification by the Evil God Power, eternally guarding their evil monarch's eternal sleep.

"Strength Level 1, Speed Level 1, Defense Level 1..."

Lu Yuan used the cha's standard ratings to assess the strength of the snake-man guard he just took down.

It was roughly equivalent to the combat power of a tier-one fine-level cha, yet this was just the strength of a regular guard right at the entrance, no wonder Lu Qiyuan had been stuck here for so long before; it indeed had a certain difficulty.

"Fine Level" is a more detailed division of cha combat power within a tier.

In this ga, within each tier of chas, based on the level of reinforcent, there's a distinction into "Regular," "Fine," "Outstanding," and "Perfect" levels.

Lu Qiyuan's Blue Falcon III cha was already reinforced to the "Outstanding" level, within tier-one chas, its quality was considered quite good.

The resources Lu Qiyuan had obtained in the ga were all invested in this single cha.

Of course, with his capability, he could only afford one.

After dealing with the snake-man guard at the door, Lu Yuan continued forward.

The mission of this level was to deal with all snake-man guards within the hidden path, without further ado, walking forward a few steps, enemies soon appeared.

The snake-man guards within this level mainly co in two types, one Lu Yuan had dealt with before, the spear-wielding close-combat type.

The other type is slightly smaller but agile, able to shoot dark red destructive beams from their eyes, the ranged type.

Individually, both types of snake-man guards are not particularly formidable; the main trouble is these guards often appear in groups, and like to hide behind the door.

As soon as the seemingly floated with a blue radiant secret path door opens, these guys rush out en masse.

Those caught off guard, or rather those not sufficiently strong or quick in reaction, indeed could be taken out on the first encounter.

And even if one evades the initial peril, wanting to break them down individually with their formations set up isn't easy.

Of course....

These are challenges for Lu Qiyuan.

"Buzz—"

At the entrance of a forcibly opened tomb chamber, seven or eight snake-man guards distributed on both sides inside and outside the chamber.

Close-combat snake-man guards wielded spears firmly blocking the entrance.

Behind them, three ranged snake-man guards "sneakily" hid behind the forr and the door, continuously firing beam after beam of crimson evil light at the gutsy intruder daringly trespassing into the tomb.

Under their siege, the slender pale blue cha wove through the battle group like a phantom.

Its moves were extrely agile, always deftly dodging those seemingly indefensible attacks at crucial monts.

The black two-handed sword in its hand refracted the sparse light remaining in the tomb passage, sparkling with a cold, ghostly glow.

Like a viper lurking in the shadows, every ti it revealed its fangs, it was deadly, and at least one snake-man guard would collapse.

Monts later, all snake-man guards inside and outside the tomb chamber were dead.

Shattered rocky remains lay scattered across the ground.

Lu Yuan stood amidst the chaos, casually sheathing the two-handed sword back behind, doing the final level-clear calculations.

"Congratulations to player 'I Love Venia' for successfully clearing level 1-6."

"Clear Ti: 6 minutes and 34 seconds"

"....."
