"The origins of the Ten Thousand God Temple are mysterious, and its power is evidently formidable, yet before this, I had never heard of its existence....
"They claim to be the earthly representatives recognized by the joint will of the Ten Thousand Gods. They supposedly descended into silence with the departure of the Ten Thousand Gods in ancient tis and have now reerged to welco the return of their will..."
The Eleventh Throne roughly relayed the information he had previously obtained from the envoy of the Ten Thousand God Temple to Lu Yuan. His words didn’t seem to hide or falsify anything.
Lu Yuan mulled over the Eleventh Throne’s statents: "recognized by the joint will of the Ten Thousand Gods... welcoming the return of the will of the Ten Thousand Gods..."
These phrases echoed in his mind. Given the thods displayed by the so-called envoy of the Ten Thousand Gods, it really did seem to have a ring of "Ten Thousand Gods’ Special Mandate" to it. He understood that ancient gods could be antagonistic and form alliances. But an organization encompassing ten thousand deities... that was truly remarkable. What circumstances could lead to such an alliance involving so many ancient gods? Was it to confront a more formidable existence? Or perhaps a similar ancient power, like an alliance of the Ten Thousand Gods? Also, the Ten Thousand God Temple stated that the Ten Thousand Gods had departed in ancient tis and were now about to return. Why did they leave in the first place, and why were they returning now?
With only fragnted information, the authenticity of which he couldn’t discern, Lu Yuan couldn’t analyze anything further. He could only commit the na "Ten Thousand God Temple" to mory, intending to delve into it further when he had the chance.
Ever since unlocking the profession panel of the "Mysterious Scholar (Extraordinary)," a strong curiosity about ancient secrets had beco ingrained in his very being. Whenever he ca across even the slightest clue, he felt an irresistible urge to investigate it thoroughly.
Temporarily setting aside his curiosity about the "Ten Thousand God Temple," Lu Yuan began another conversation with the Eleventh Throne.
"Let’s talk about you all."
Lu Yuan picked up a glass of plain water beside him, not to drink, but to fiddle with it idly in his hand.
"Mosa."
The Eleventh Throne looked at Lu Yuan with a peculiar gaze and said, "Sir, what you said earlier about wanting to join us, Mosa—it wasn’t a jest, was it?"
"Of course not," Lu Yuan said indifferently. "I’m a Fighter by background and have always pursued martial arts to the utmost. I have a general understanding of your Mosa doctrine, and it aligns quite well with the fighting philosophy I champion. Speaking of which, I’ve even participated in many fighting competitions organized by your Mosa Religion and have also consud your so-called ’Divine Blood’..."
Lu Yuan didn’t ntion that he was the "Silver Spear Holder," but the implication in his words still sent a thrill of excitent through the Eleventh Throne. His tone, as he spoke to Lu Yuan, now seed to carry more earnestness and eagerness.
"Mosa always welcos the strong, especially powerful individuals like you, sir."
In the ti that followed, the Eleventh Throne told Lu Yuan a great deal about Mosa.
For instance, within Mosa, there were a total of eighteen beings like the Eleventh Throne. Ranked by strength, the Eleventh Throne was considered to be in the middle to lower echelons. These individuals referred to themselves as Sequence Thrones within Mosa. However, their true identities were very secretive; only a few mbers, those with close personal relationships, knew each other well. It was known that most Sequence Thrones of Mosa were either high-ranking figures in powerful real-world organizations or renowned experts of long standing.
In summary, Mosa’s true strength was much greater than what Lu Yuan, or even various nations around the world, had ostensibly seen. The organization imposed relatively few restrictions on its Thrones, so their affiliation could be considered quite relaxed. For most Sequence Thrones, Mosa was more akin to a collective pursuing mutual interests.
Lu Yuan now also understood why mbers of the Mosa Religion searched all over the world for objects related to Ancient Gods. This was related to Mosa’s doctrine and its system of advancent. Followers of Mosa worshiped the God of Martial Arts and Hunting. To please the God of Mosa, besides grand martial combat rituals, one had to offer "trophies" obtained from hunts. The higher the value of the "trophies" offered, the more generous the rewards bestowed by the God of Mosa, and the faster the offerer’s strength would increase. Many of the current high-ranking Thrones in Mosa had started as ordinary people and had ascended to their current level of strength step by step through sacrificing such "trophies." Aspects like souls and faith, which other Ancient God sects emphasized, were not as highly valued in Mosa.
Lu Yuan was quite surprised after hearing this.
If what the Eleventh Throne said was true—that followers of Mosa could exchange "treasures" for "power," with faith being less important—then this was indeed good news for him. He was already wondering where he could find so useless Evil God-related "junk" to quickly upgrade his "Spear Holder (Extraordinary)" profession level once he officially joined Mosa.
Ti flew by as Lu Yuan and the Eleventh Throne chatted leisurely.
In the anti, Lu Yuan contacted his subordinates in the Evil Martial Association. He told them to return to the Sum Country to recuperate, adding that they would discuss rewards after his return.
By the ti the Fly Shuttle landed gently on an island in the Western Hemisphere, Lu Yuan and the Eleventh Throne were already like old friends, conversing with great rapport.
"With Brother Cheng Peng’s strength, if you were to join our Mosa, you would undoubtedly secure a seat among the Thrones," the Eleventh Throne said. "Perhaps your rank would even be above mine. In that case, I would need Brother Cheng Peng to look out for then."
The hatch of the Fly Shuttle slowly opened, and Lu Yuan and the Eleventh Throne descended side by side.
