The true path of Pure Martial.

The Starry Sky Martial Path, as vast and brilliant as a galaxy.

If given a choice, Lu Yuan would likely choose the latter without hesitation, even though he had just advanced to Extraordinary Grandmaster, unlocking the [Martial Arts Master (Supernatural)] profession panel.

According to *The Origin Heart Sutra*, as long as a few more Star Caves are opened, Extraterrestrial Martial Arts will completely surpass the current New Martial and Modification Systems. Once the entire Star Map is lit, it could even unlock hidden treasures in the Starry Sky, granting incredible powers. And this isn’t the end. After the first Star Map is fully lit, one could continue to light the second, third... and even more Star Maps.

From these few words alone, Lu Yuan could already envision a grand path spanning the vast universe, twinkling with starlight. Compared to this, the subsequent path of Pure Martial depicted on the Pot Heaven Secret Realm Mural seed sowhat limited in scope.

A crucial point was that the true future of the Pure Martial path was still unknown. Once Lu Yuan cultivated to the level of the figure in the mural, he would have to find his own way forward, for there would be no footprints of predecessors to follow. But Extraterrestrial Martial Arts was different. Who knew how gloriously this path might have already developed in the Starry Sky?

Whether considering the ultimate potential or a more reliable path, switching to Extraterrestrial Martial Arts seems to be the better choice.

But the current problem was that Lu Yuan couldn’t switch even if he wanted to.

To switch, I must open a Star Cave. To open a Star Cave, I must first break my body’s self-circulation. But once the circulation is broken, I will die...

Lu Yuan felt like he had walked into a dead end. He couldn’t switch at all; he could only continue on his current path. The most terrifying part was that the further he progressed, the more distant his goal of switching to the Starry Sky Martial Path beca. As his blood sphere continued to grow, his body’s circulation would beco more stable, making the success rate of opening a Star Cave even lower. His already faint hope would dwindle to almost zero.

What should I do? I really can’t solve this problem... Lu Yuan muttered.

The key issue was that he couldn’t tell Yu Wentong any of this. Doing so would carry an implication of blaming Yu Wentong for having put him in this bind.

After a long silence, Lu Yuan quietly composed himself. For now, he could only continue on his current, established path.

At least at this stage, the Pure Martial path might not be weaker than the Starry Sky Martial Path. The fact that the figure in the mural, upon reaching the pinnacle of cultivation, would be targeted for annihilation by the combined forces of the Ancient Evil Gods proves that the Pure Martial path still holds great promise.

Lu Yuan could only comfort himself this way.

Moreover, the Evil God System might provide with a perfect way to break out of this predicant... perhaps...

A few thoughts quickly flashed through Lu Yuan’s mind, and a vague idea began to form. It was just an idea, though, and its feasibility still needed to be tested. The preparation process would be imnsely difficult, requiring even greater strength to support it, and whether it could be achieved would depend on luck.

The blood sphere within his body rotated slowly, driving his blood qi to course through his body again and again. The damage sustained from the forced attempt to open the Star Cave quickly healed.

Lu Yuan silently moved to a super-alloy weapon rack, randomly drew a long knife, and began practicing his strikes. He had recently been trying to level up his Weapons Master skill, learning over a dozen cold weapon fighting techniques all at once. After his intelligence Broke the Limit for the second ti, Lu Yuan’s learning and comprehension abilities had reached a terrifying level. It was a genuine ’Brain Divine Power’.

This was Lu Yuan’s first ti encountering a Knife Skill; he had only watched a few introductory videos in Yellow Bear’s database. After he started, his first practice run was a bit clumsy. But from the second run onwards, he beca incredibly proficient with a set of foundational knife techniques. This was not just due to his comprehension and learning ability, but also his control over his body as a Martial Arts Grandmaster. Ordinary people couldn’t hope to achieve his current level of exquisite control. Lu Yuan’s control over his body was so precise he could manage the opening and closing of individual pores.

While practicing with the knife, Lu Yuan kept his eyes fixed on his profession panel. He watched as the Experience Points for [Basic Knife Skill] on the [Weapons Master] panel shot up rapidly, the numbers visibly climbing. Notifications of his [Basic Knife Skill] Experience Points increasing scrolled down the panel like a waterfall. Within a re half an hour, Lu Yuan successfully leveled up [Basic Knife Skill] from Lv. 1 (0/100) to Lv. 5 (Max Level).

"Hmm?"

After reaching max level, Lu Yuan glanced at his attribute panel and found he hadn’t received any additional attribute point rewards. He furrowed his brows slightly, feeling sowhat disappointed.

It seems this has completely thwarted my plan to farm attribute points... Originally, reaching max level in a basic skill used to reward attribute points. Lu Yuan wasn’t sure when the panel had stopped giving this reward. He felt that the reward chanism of his ’golden finger’ was continuously adjusting based on his strength. I wonder what the truth behind this panel is?

Occasionally, Lu Yuan would ponder the source of his transmigration and the awakening of his panel ability. It was just like when many people gaze at the stars and unconsciously start contemplating life and pondering the universe. But ultimately, these were matters too distant from his current concerns. Such thoughts would arise and then quickly fade.

Instead of wasting ti on this... I might as well farm more Experience Points. Although the attribute point rewards are gone, my profession experience is still increasing.
