Chapter 69: Chapter 69

He kissed her gently and stopped, pulling away to ask for her permission. "Can I?"

Her reaction was to throw herself into his arms. Taking that as a yes, he wrapped an arm around her waist and held her neck with his free hand, lting her into him with a fiery kiss.

Unable to hold himself back, he slid his hand under her skirt and stroked her smooth thigh. "You look beautiful."

She bit back a moan and pulled herself off. "Not here."

He nodded and kissed her, using his lips and tongue to express how much he wanted her. They barely managed to stop themselves from taking it further. When she snuck a glance at him and he caught her eyes trailing down his body, it took all his self-control to not grab her and take her right there in the ferris wheel cart.

...

The route to his house had never felt so long. As soon as he parked the car in the garagae, she placed a hand on his thigh and rubbed it, letting go of whatever patience she had left. Their lips collided as if they were in sync as their hands hungrily explored each other’s bodies. THe pulled off her hood and tossed it, and it landed on the dashboard where her top soon followed it.

He gasped at the sight of her boobs suddenly appearing before him. "You’re not wearing a bra." He observed. "Are you..." He slid a hand under her skirt and was yet to confirm what he wanted to know when she slid his hand back to her boobs.

"Nada." She fumbled with his t-shirt and he helped her get it off him, before he undid his belt and pulled his slacks down his thighs. She slid onto his lap and straddled him, rubbing herself against his bare skin.

"Fuck. Co here." He couldn’t take her provocation. He pulled her right over his manhood and held her waist. Taking the hint, she positioned it at her core and slid down onto him. She held back a moan, rembering this was a garage and so unsuspecting servant might be passing by. With her hands on his shoulders, she gyrated her hips in rythmn with his hard thrusts.

"I’m not going to last long." He warned.

"Neither am I." She moaned. He took her nipple in his mouth and sucked hard on it throwing her into waves of passion and her orgasm faster than she expected it.

She couldn’t hold herself back as it ca crushing down on her, making her body go limp for seconds of euphoria. He held her by the thighs and chased his own release, both of them grunting when he ca. When she opened her eyes which she didn’t realize she had closed, she took notice of how tightly she was holding onto him. Her nails were digging into his back and when she let go, she ca face to face with her teeth marks at the side of his neck.

"Oh God," she pulled herself off his lap, feeling as though she had returned from another universe. "Does it hurt?"

"I should be asking you that." He glanced at her thighs. They were red with streaks he knew had been caused by the tight grip he’d had on her. He guiltily shut his eyes. He shouldn’t have been so rough with her.

Contrary to the scolding he had expected to receive, however, she rubbed her thighs with a sheepish laugh. "It’s alright. Totally perfect. Doesn’t hurt at all."

"Are you sure?" He confird.

"I’ve never felt better." She said with a double aning and licked her lips.

"Very well." Since she was up for it, he didn’t have any reservations either. "I’m about to make you feel better."

He managed to stop her before she could jump onto him. It was a car–not the most comfortable place. He helped her into the skirt he knew he was going to take off within ten minutes, and then the hood.

"You’re a vampire in tiger’s skin." He touched her fluffy tiger ears.

She laughed, holding his arms and imdiately feeling her insides twitch when their eyes t. Was he a magnet? She wondered. It was as though all her beliefs disappeared as soon as he was close to her. Whenever he was away, she would consider her choices and decide it was best if they stayed away from each other, but as soon as he looked at her with those seductive eyes, she wouldn’t want anything apart from letting herself into his bed.

"And what makes this all worse is...I know what I’m doing is wrong. But I can’t stop myself." When his face froze, she realized she had thought it out aloud.

"Damon,"

"Why would it be wrong?" He was baffled that’s what she thought of them.

"I don’t know...it just feels wrong. Like I’m trapping myself."

"Well, good news, I have no intention of trapping you." He helped her straighten her skirt. "Do you rember the last ti Angel had a ltdown?"

"Why are you reminding

of that?" She tried her best not to snap. That was her worst mory.

"Dr. Chris was, as usual, unreliable, and guess whose sister had the ability to calm him down?" He pointed at himself. "If I wanted to trap you, that was my chance. You would have done whatever the fuck I wanted as long as I got Mabella to co."

She shook her head. "You wouldn’t be that heartless. He’s your son."

He no longer knew what to tell her. She believed he wouldn’t use Angel against her but sohow thought he might want to trap her using other ans. Did she have any idea how important she was to him? Clearly, she was underestimating his feelings for her.

So he chose to tell her the most obvious thing. "Vivi, I’m not trying to trap you."

"Vivi?" It had been ages since she heard endearnt from him and it gave her mixed feelings. "Whatever. The point is, what we are getting ourselves into is going to make Angel think we are a family like any other, that he could be with both of his parents whenever he wants."

"He didn’t say that." He argued.

"But he thinks that." She recalled the day he wasn’t very willing to have his dinner without his father. "Look, we cannot trap ourselves into a semblance of a relationship that might end up making us enemies because of our son. We need to stop. Slow down, anything!"

He opened the car door and stepped out.

"Damon," she whispered, realizing her words had caused a misunderstanding. "I’m not trying to undermine whatever this is. It’s just...what’s the whole point?"

The passenger door opened and he was on her side before she could process it, helping her out. She straightened her dress as he pulled her towards the house. He pushed her against the door as soon as they were in.

"If by the end of the night you still don’t know why this is happening, I’ll not show up in your life." He raised her chin for her to face him, then soon began the most passionate night of her life.

....

Late into the night, she slid off the bed with unsteady legs and covered herself in a sheet to look for him. They’d made love like bunnies and she had fallen asleep to his kisses and blurry words about finding him in the theatre if she needed him.

She found the theatre easily since it was on the sa floor as the master bedroom. When she saw a faint light seeping in through the door fra, she knew he was there.

She pushed the door open and cautiously walked over to him. He was sitting on of the comfortable seats with an untouched coke in hand, and the screen was playing the second episode of Anabelle, the series they watched at the hotel.

"We already watched that." She pointed at the screen and he turned to look at her. It was as if he had not been aware of her presence before she spoke.

When he noticed her, he smiled in her direction in the dim light and called her over.

She obeyed him and when she sat in the chair next to his, he adjusted the sheet to wrap her in like a burrito. "Have you figured it out yet?"

He was talking about her concern regarding where they were headed with the undeniable chemistry between them, and she shook her head.

"I don’t know, Damon. It’s a lot. One mont I hate you so much I want you dead, and the next, I can’t stand the thought of being so far from you...it’s as if..." she stopped the tangent she was about to go off on. "I like you. I can’t deny that, Damon."

"There’s a lurking ’but’ in that." He observed.

She didn’t deny it. "What if I don’t actually like you? Every parent wants their child to have a complete family, right? What if we are only attracted to each other because of him? Maybe we put it in our heads that he needs a complete family and that can only be found if his parents get together."

He finally understood what she ant when she spoke of setting up a trap for themselves. Even more, he knew where her fear actually stemd from.

"You are not Alia Vaillant, and I am not Bryce Vaillant. We are not going to get trapped into a marriage we both hate for our child, because our son is not Gabriel Vaillant."

"What?" She found his analogy odd.

"You’re scared history will repeat itself."
