Day 20 Inside the Barrier (Equivalent to 60 Years of Real-Ti Training)
Lightning howled across the fractured skies as crimson bolts licked the mountaintops, casting jagged shadows across the battlefield. The second anomaly zone, aptly nad the Zone of Broken Echoes, was unlike anything Chen Yu had encountered. Echoes of ancient beasts cried through the rift-ridden winds, and each gust carried whispers of old gods that had once ruled the realm.
Chen Yu groaned, coughing blood as he lay in the crater left by the colossal beast’s strike. His armor—reinforced by void runes and chaos-forged steel—was cracked at the chest, pulsing with faint heat from the impact.
System Alert:You have taken 43% total body damage.Vital signs: Stable.Void Reserve: 12%Chaos Energy: SealedMana Regeneration: Accelerating...
"Perfect," Chen Yu muttered sarcastically, dragging himself to his feet. His legs ached, ribs fractured, vision blurred—but his will remained ironclad. He looked up.
Across the crater, a monster taller than trees stood silently, muscles like boulders rippling beneath obsidian-black scales. Its six eyes blazed red with ancient fury, and its claws shimred like black diamond scythes—capable of slicing space itself. The Abyssal Tyrant, apex of this anomaly zone.
The beast roared again, and even the sky flinched. Trees in the background bent backwards as if in fear. A lesser challenger would’ve fainted. But Chen Yu cracked his neck and laughed.
"This is exactly why I ca alone."

A glowing black seal unfolded behind him—his personal domain—pulsing with [Void], [End of All Beings], and faint traces of [Chaos]. He couldn’t yet tap into his full Chaos powers, but the re residue was enough to threaten.
"Co on then," Chen Yu growled.
The Abyssal Tyrant didn’t wait. It charged with terrifying speed for sothing its size. The earth trembled beneath its steps. Chen Yu leaped back, teleporting mid-air to the left with a white flash. Its claws swiped—missed. But the shockwave still hurled Chen into the air.
He twisted mid-flight and launched [Void Lances]—long, spear-like projections of condensed spatial energy. The first three crashed harmlessly off its scales. The fourth pierced through its shoulder. Blood sprayed—but the creature didn’t falter.
Its six eyes locked onto Chen, and then... it vanished.
Teleportation?
"No... it’s faster than before!"
Chen Yu raised his arm just in ti to block the incoming fist, using [Shield of Final Dawn]. Even then, the force blasted him downward. He hit the earth like a teor, creating another crater beside the first. Coughing up more blood, he stood again, laughter bubbling at the corners of his lips.
"You’re learning. Impressive."
He activated [500x Gravity Field], a compressed gravitational shell localized within ten ters. It slowed the Abyssal Tyrant’s movent, cracking its foot beneath its own weight—but only briefly.
System Alert:Void Reserves: 4%Teleportation Charges Left: 3/10Danger Rating: Maximum
Still not enough.
Chen Yu narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists.
Ti to go beyond.
A New CombinationHe activated three powers in sequence: [End of All Beings], [Void Tether], and the barely stable [Stirring Chaos]. A swirling vortex of destruction engulfed his arms—black fire, spatial ripples, and faint red embers bleeding into reality.
His voice echoed unnaturally. "Let’s redraw reality together."
Teleporting right behind the Tyrant, Chen struck its spinal ridge with all his force. The vortex exploded—ripping through its scales. The monster shrieked, its voice warping the terrain. Trees split. Rocks lted.
Chen flashed to its front—used the last teleport—to strike its eye. This ti, the [Chaos Edge] attached to his fist cut clean through.
The Tyrant flailed. It had lost one eye—and half its jaw.
But even wounded, it refused to fall.
It lunged.
Too fast.
Too soon.
BOOM!
Chen Yu took the hit head-on, shield raised—yet the impact launched him hundreds of ters. Trees snapped. Rocks burst. He fell... unmoving.
The world faded again.
Zone Control Shift Detected[You have dropped to 2% Vital Stamina.][Do you wish to activate Ergency Recovery Protocol?]
"No," he rasped.
"I’ll win this on my terms."
As the Tyrant neared for the final blow, Chen Yu forced himself up. He limped, his aura fraying—but his soul blazed. Just before the final strike, he whispered:
"End of All Beings...: Collapse."
The world folded in for a second.
Reality around him bent inward.
The Tyrant froze, eyes wide, as its own body started disintegrating—being crushed into a singularity ford by Chen Yu’s collapsing law.
With a final roar, the beast imploded. Gone.
Chen Yu fell to his knees.
Silence reigned.

And soon... they would reunite with Chen.
Epilogue – A New Enemy Approaches
Back atop the mountain, the winds began to shift. Chen Yu stood, scars across his arms, as he sensed sothing deeper—sothing more dangerous moving beyond the anomaly gate.
A new roar echoed across the zone—not from a beast, but sothing older.
"Twilight Reign... I can feel your eyes now," he whispered.
His fist clenched.
Next: Heavenly Collision Begins.
The battle had ended—but not the war.
Chen Yu remained on one knee, his breath ragged, as the ashes of the collapsed beast settled in the crater below him. The obsidian-scaled monster had left gouges across the terrain, trenches miles deep, and forests shattered by its final wrath. Blood dripped down Chen Yu’s jaw, the scent of charred earth mixing with the acrid tang of mana and smoke.
He had won—but at a cost.
"Just one monster... and I nearly burned myself out," he murmured, letting his head hang. The distant wind howled across the ruined peak, tugging at his torn robes, the scent of ozone still thick in the air from his chaotic energy outburst.
His system flickered with new notifications.
[Rank: RR - Stabilized][Chaos Resonance: 42%][Skill Unlocked: Stirring Chaos (1 use)][Void Affinity Progress: 78%][Alert: Additional anomaly cores detected within the region.]
Chen Yu blinked. More cores?
He raised his gaze toward the dense, swirling mist that covered the far edge of Zone 2. Beyond that, new presences stirred—lurking, watching. Zone 2 was not finished with him. That behemoth was not the final boss... it was the gatekeeper.
And worse still, his energy reserve was now at 27%.
He clicked his tongue. "One problem at a ti."
Summoning his system screen again, he scanned his current stat window.

A Deep Breath Before the Next Storm
Chen Yu stood up slowly, bones cracking and muscles trembling from the stress of his power output. He stared into the fog-draped valley below, where darker anomalies awaited. Despite his exhaustion, he smiled faintly.
"The higher I climb, the heavier the crown gets," he said, as a breeze fluttered through his silver-streaked black hair. "But I’m not here to kneel before it. I’ll wear it—and reshape the sky with it."
He took a mont to rest against a ruined pillar of obsidian crystal jutting from the mountainside. As healing light coursed through him from the system’s passive recovery, his mind wandered—not toward his own survival, but his companions’.

Twilight Reign Approaches
Chen Yu’s expression darkened again as he recalled the ssage delivered by Kaelith—the emissary of the Council of Bound Stars. Five days remained before their forced celestial duel: the Heavenly Collision.
And Twilight Reign was no ordinary sect.
They had survived for centuries by consuming other factions from the shadows—tainting beasts, puppeteering prodigies, harvesting energy from corrupted ley lines. They would not fight fair. And if they won... the Constellation Vanguard would be purged from the Upper Realm.
His fingers curled around the scroll again.
"It’s not a challenge—it’s a warning," he muttered.
Flashback: Twilight Reign Gathering
In a hollow mountain buried beneath starless clouds, the elders of Twilight Reign sat in jagged thrones of bone and starlight.
The lead figure, cloaked in obsidian robes, whispered into a warped mirror.
"Chen Yu... He’s returned. Stronger."
Another voice answered: "We must kill him. This ti—completely."
A third rasped, "His team... they carry ancient seeds. He must not unite them further."
The leader grinned. "Then let’s scatter them... and break him."
Present: One with the Storm
Chen Yu slowly climbed back to his feet again, his bones less heavy now, the lingering storm gentler. He took one last look at the crater where the behemoth fell.
He could feel it—his comrades would be arriving soon. The ti barrier was weakening, and his team was nearly ready to join him here in Zone 2.
A violet gate shimred in the distance—slowly cracking open.
Chen Yu smiled.
Final Scene: One Step Ahead
Far above the Upper Realm, beyond even the vision of the gods, the masked council stirred once more.
Number 0 sat unmoving, his voice cold. "The anomaly continues to evolve... faster than projected."
Number 4 snarled, "Kill him now. He’s transcending the model."
Number 10 replied quietly, "No. We watch. If he reaches the fifth gate... we summon Her."
The chamber grew still.
