Ye jun

I hung up the phone with Titi still laughing in my ear. I stood in the middle of my room and tried to breathe slowly, but it did not work. My body felt full of restless energy. I could not sit. I could not think about anything else.

Tonight had to happen.

The thought ca again and again. It sat heavy in my mind. I grabbed my keys from the small table near the door. They almost slipped from my fingers because my hands were shaking. I did not even look at myself in the mirror. I did not change my clothes. I did not fix my hair. None of that mattered right now. I only pulled my hoodie tighter around and zipped it all the way up to my chin. Outside air rushed in when I opened the door, cool and sharp.

I left.

My footsteps sounded too loud as I hurried toward the elevator. I kept checking my phone even though there were no new ssages. Part of hoped there would be one from him. There never was.

The elevator ride felt slow. Every second stretched. I tapped my foot the whole way down. When the doors finally opened, I almost ran outside.

The night air hit my face. Cars passed on the street with bright lights. Sowhere nearby soone was laughing. Life kept moving like nothing had changed, but inside everything felt different.

The cab arrived after a few minutes. I slid into the back seat and gave the driver Titi’s address. My voice sounded strange to my own ears, too tight, too excited.

The ride felt endless.

Streetlights passed one after another through the window. I watched them blur together. My leg bounced without stopping. I tried to calm down, but every mory ca back at once.

Si-woo’s voice.

His hands.

The way he looked at like I mattered.

Then the way he walked away like I was nothing.

My stomach twisted.

I replayed the kitchen scene again. The words he said. The promise in his voice. The heat in his eyes. Then nothing. Just cold distance like a door slamming shut.

I pressed my forehead against the cool window glass.

"I hate him," I whispered quietly.

But even as I said it, my chest hurt.

The cab finally turned into Titi’s street. Relief rushed through so fast I almost laughed. I paid quickly and climbed out before the car even fully stopped.

Her building looked the sa as always. Old bricks. A flickering light above the entrance. It felt safe. Familiar.

I rang the bell once.

The door opened almost imdiately.

Titi stood there in a soft robe tied loosely at her waist. Her hair was ssy like she had just woken up or had been dancing around the house. The mont she saw her face lit up.

I did not even think.

I jumped into her arms.

She caught easily and laughed as she wrapped both arms around . She always slled like coconut oil and warm soap. Like comfort. Like afternoons spent talking too much and eating snacks on the floor.

I buried my face into her shoulder.

For a second everything slowed down.

I felt small again.

Like when we were younger and problems felt simple. Like scraped knees and bad grades were the worst things that could happen. Back then a hug could fix almost anything.

She rubbed my back slowly.

"It’s okay," she murmured.

I almost cried, but I swallowed it down.

She pulled back after a mont and held my face between her hands. Her eyes were bright and curious.

"Co inside, baby," she said. "Tell everything while I get wine."

Her apartnt was tiny but warm. Fairy lights hung near the window. Music played softly from sowhere in the living room. Shoes were scattered near the couch like always.

I sat at her kitchen table while she poured wine into two glasses. The chair creaked under as I shifted. I did not even wait for her to sit before I started talking.

Words spilled out fast.

I told her about last night. Every detail I could rember. How Si-woo looked at like I was the only person in the room. How close he stood. How my body reacted before my brain could catch up. I told her how wanted I felt.

Then I told her how he left.

How empty it felt afterward.

I talked about the kitchen that morning. About his voice when he leaned close. About the way he said he would bend over the counter like it was already decided.

My cheeks burned just rembering it.

"And then he just walked away," I said, my voice shaking. "Like I was nothing. Like he didn’t an any of it."

Titi did not interrupt once.

She only listened.

She leaned back in her chair with one leg crossed over the other, sipping her wine slowly. Sotis she nodded. Sotis her eyebrows lifted like she already understood.

When I finished talking, the silence felt heavy.

"I want to break him," I admitted quietly.

The words surprised even .

"I want him to feel small too. Just once."

She reached across the table and placed her hand over mine. Her nails were painted bright pink. They tapped softly against my skin.

"n are easy, Ye-jun," she said calmly.

Her smile turned a little dangerous.

"I used to break them for fun."

I blinked at her.

She laughed softly at my face.

"Really," she continued. "Hot guys. Rich guys. Boys who thought the world belonged to them. Politicians’ sons. Business heirs. n with cars bigger than their personalities."

She leaned forward.

"I made them beg. In cars. In hotels. Anywhere they thought they were in control."

My mouth fell open slightly.

She shrugged like it was nothing.

"You just give them a little," she said. "A smile. A touch. A promise. Then you take it away."

She snapped her fingers.

"They lose their minds."

Her voice softened then.

"But listen to carefully."

Her eyes held mine.

"Do not fall for this one."

I frowned.

"I’m not falling."

She shook her head slowly.

"Si-woo is not just handso. He is cold. That kind of man knows how to hurt people without even trying. You play gas with soone like that and you can lose more than you planned."

Her thumb brushed over my hand.

"Do not put your whole heart into revenge."

I looked down at my fingers.

They curled slightly against the table.

"I just want him to lose," I whispered. "Every day he makes feel invisible. Like I don’t matter unless he decides I do."

My throat tightened.

"Last night he took everything from . Every feeling. Then he acted like it ant nothing."

I swallowed hard.

"I hate that."

I lifted my head.

"I want him to chase . I want him to want so badly that it hurts."

My voice dropped.

"And then I walk away."

Titi watched for a long mont.

Slowly, a proud smile spread across her face. There was also sothing sad behind it, like she knew a secret she could not share.

"My boy is growing up an," she said softly.

She stood from the table suddenly.

"Okay," she added. "Let’s make you dangerous."

She disappeared into her bedroom.

I heard drawers opening. Hangers moving. Sothing falling and her laughing at herself.

When she ca back she carried a garnt bag carefully in both hands.

She placed it on the table like it was treasure.

My curiosity grew.

She unzipped it slowly.

Inside was black lace.

Soft. Dark. Delicate.

Tiny bows sat along thin straps. The fabric looked almost weightless. Sheer in places. Bold in others.

My face heated instantly.

"Put it on," she said.

Her grin turned wicked.

"I need to see."

She pushed toward the bathroom.

"Go. Now."

I laughed nervously but obeyed.

The bathroom light was bright. Too bright. I locked the door and stood there for a mont just staring at my reflection.

My hands shook slightly as I took off my clothes.

Piece by piece.

The air felt cooler against my skin.

I stepped into the panties first.

The lace touched like cold water.

Then slowly it ward.

It hugged my hips tightly but gently at the sa ti. The fabric felt soft every ti I moved. I pulled the rest on carefully. The straps rested lightly on my shoulders like they might break if I breathed too hard.

The sheer parts showed more than I expected.

I stared at myself in the mirror.

My waist looked smaller.

My legs looked longer.

My skin looked brighter under the light.

My cheeks turned red.

I felt naked.

But also strong.

Scared.

Excited.

All at once.

I turned slightly.

My ass looked round and full. The lace followed every curve. I almost did not recognize myself.

"Wow," I whispered.

I reached for the thigh-highs next.

Black silk slid easily over my legs. Smooth. Cool. The grips at the top pressed gently into my thighs. Every step reminded they were there.

I considered the choker lying on the counter.

Then I shook my head.

No.

I wanted my neck bare.

I wanted him to see swallow when I felt nervous. I wanted him to notice everything.

I took one deep breath.

Then I opened the door.

Titi looked up from her phone.

Her eyes went wide.

She stood so fast her chair nearly fell over.

She let out a loud whistle.

Outside, sowhere down the hall, a dog started barking like it agreed with her.

She clapped her hands together.

"Fuck ," she said loudly. "Ye-jun."

She circled slowly.

"You look like sin."

I covered my face, laughing nervously.

She shook her head in disbelief.

"He is going to lose his mind," she added. "Go ho right now before I lock you in here and keep you for myself."

Her teasing made laugh harder, but my stomach flipped with nerves.

Was I really going to do this?

She grabbed my shoulders and turned toward the door.

At the entrance she pulled into another hug.

This one tighter.

Her hands slid down and she squeezed my ass hard.

I yelped.

She laughed without sha.

"Send pictures," she said firmly. "Every angle."

She pointed a finger at .

"Or I disown you."

I nodded, still smiling.

"And rember," she added softly.

Her voice changed again.

"Make him chase. Make him work for it."

I swallowed.

The excitent returned imdiately.

I stepped out into the hallway again. The air felt cooler against my skin now. Every movent reminded what I was wearing under my hoodie.

My heart beat louder with every step toward the elevator.

Tonight was coming.
