(Orlax POV)

Tiran and I looked at each other before I turned my head toward the place where the Golden One’s corpse lay.

I searched his clothes and pulled out a phone hidden in his pocket.

On the screen appeared an image of several people sitting on chairs, their faces covered by masks.

"Orlax Tirshtain? This ans the Golden One has been killed."

A man wearing a blue mask spoke while lounging in his chair.

"So, you’re the Color Gathering. Are you trying to form a rainbow or what?"

Tiran mocked them when he saw the masks covering their faces.

"You’re so rude, Duke. But that’s expected from a re savage carrying his sword."

"Did you hear that, Duke? He just called you a savage."

I mocked Tiran, who looked angry, and I moved the phone away before he could smash it.

"So, Color Gathering, what is the purpose of all these actions you’ve been taking lately?"

I asked the man in the purple mask, thinking he was the leader.

"Hmph, since you asked politely, I’ll give you a hint. Our goal is..."

"Wait, wait, I don’t need you to tell . Let guess. Oh, world domination? Hmm, is that wrong?"

I interrupted the Purple One mid-sentence, mocking him.

"Don’t interrupt , you..."

"Oh, so it’s sothing else? Let guess, are you perhaps fanatics who believe you’re on the right path while the world is wrong and must be punished? Is that correct?"

I saw the Purple One starting to burn with anger and didn’t let him speak.

"Duke, tell , what do you see now?"

"Hmm, I see a bunch of kids trying to look strong after their father kicked them out."

"Hahahahaha!"

"Heheheheh!"

Tiran and I laughed mockingly so loudly that the Purple One couldn’t take it anymore and began screaming from behind the screen.

"Good, good! You’ve made angry now. I’ll..."

Crack!

Before he could finish his sentence, I pressed hard on the device and shattered it to pieces.

"Hahaha, Your Majesty, you really made him angry. He’s going to attack with full force now."

"Let him co. I prefer a direct confrontation over hiding."

"As you wish."

Tiran and I left the basent and started walking inside the house.

"These bastards are insanely rich. Did they rob a whole city or what?"

"Rember, this is just one person. There are six more, and they might have even more wealth than him."

"Either they’ve been working for a hundred years to earn this, or..."

"Or soone is funding them. Maybe they are nobles themselves."

We exited the house, and Tiran ordered everyone to seize all the wealth found inside. We then started heading back.

After about two hours, everything was sorted, and we sat in Tiran’s office.

"That was really fun. We should do sothing like this again."

Tiran was pleased with the recent events, which had given him the chance to move his body a lot.

"Maybe in the future. Who knows?"

I sat with one leg crossed over the other while gently wiping my sword.

"Anyway, I’ll be leaving in a few hours. Let’s have dinner before I go."

We headed to the dining hall and sat facing each other while the servants placed food on the table.

"You know, Your Majesty, before I t you, my mind was a bit clouded, and I was hesitant about serving you."

Tiran broke the silence and started speaking about what was on his mind.

"So, what do you think after eting ? Am I soone worth serving?"

I ate my food slowly, listening to his words, which seed strange to .

"I realized that you are soone the whole world should serve."

My eyes widened in shock upon hearing Tiran’s words, and I smiled mockingly.

"The world should serve ? What are you saying? The world doesn’t belong to anyone. Don’t say such nonsense again."

After finishing my al, I stood up from the table and walked outside.

In the palace courtyard, a sleek blue sports car was waiting for .

I opened the door, which lifted upward, and sat in the driver’s seat, observing the elegant and modern interior.

I decided to return by car instead of a plane or train because I wanted to relax during the journey.

I pressed the ignition button, and the engine roared loudly.

Vroooom! Vroooom!

"This is beautiful."

Satisfied with my curiosity, I began moving the car slowly to get used to it.

I left the Duke’s palace and followed the map until I reached the city gate.

One of the guards standing at the gate approached to ask about my departure, but as soon as I rolled down the window, he quickly bowed and greeted before allowing to pass.

Once I reached an open road, I decided to accelerate to the car’s maximum speed. I pressed the gas pedal, and the car surged forward.

"This is fun. I should travel like this instead of using other thods."

I sped toward Baroness Elin’s territory, racing down the road.

After about two hours, I finally arrived at the city gate and entered after the guards recognized .

I reached Elin’s house, parked the car in the courtyard, put the keys in my pocket, and entered the house.

I started looking for Riana in the living room but didn’t find her, so I went to the office.

Upon opening the door and stepping inside, I found several people gathered there.

Riana was sitting on a couch in the office, facing a man with red hair and brown eyes.

The man appeared middle-aged but had a strong physique.

On either side of him sat two young n, likely in their twenties, with the sa hair color as their father.

They looked identical, so I assud they were twins.

When the three n sitting in front of Riana saw enter the room, they wanted to stand, but I gestured for them to remain seated.

I stood behind the couch Riana was sitting on, leaning forward slightly with my hands resting on the back.

"Continue your conversation as if I’m not here."

The three seed tense, exchanging glances between and Riana.

"So, dear uncle, you were saying earlier that you refuse to take responsibility for the city?"

A mocking smile appeared on Riana’s face as she crossed her legs, looking at the n before her with defiance.

"Haha, you must be joking, niece. How could I refuse a request from you?"

Her uncle scratched the back of his head, looking at nervously while I stood behind her, focusing my gaze on him.

"Since you’re so insistent, uncle, then start your work today. Also, if you don’t perform your duties perfectly, His Majesty will be happy to visit you and have so tea with you. Isn’t that right?"

Riana turned her head to look at , gazing into my golden eyes as she spoke.

"Of course."

Upon hearing my affirmative response, Riana smiled and stood up from the couch.

"Alright, since everything is settled, I’ll be leaving now. And congratulations, uncle, on your new position."

"Thank you, my dear niece. Without you, I wouldn’t have had this opportunity."

Riana and I left the room, and after closing the door, we remained standing in silence.

"Have you packed all your belongings?"

I broke the silence to ensure Riana was ready and turned to look into her eyes.

"Yes, I finished everything. Wait for at the house gate. I’ll be there in a mont."

"Alright."

We parted ways, each heading in a different direction.

I waited at the gate, leaning against the car, and after a few minutes, Riana finally erged, carrying a small bag in her hand.

As she approached, I moved from the car and opened the door, but she hesitated and looked back at the house.

"I’ve lived here for nineteen years, and now I’m leaving to move elsewhere. It makes feel a little sad."

Seeing the sorrowful look on Riana’s face, I spoke while feeling a slight tightness in my chest.

"This place is no longer your ho, Riana. It’s just a pile of bricks stacked on top of each other."

"Hmm... maybe you’re right."

The red-haired girl turned her back on the house and walked toward the car.

"Hmm, are we going in this car? I thought we’d take a plane or sothing."

"I wanted to enjoy the journey a little, so I decided to travel this way."

"I have no problem with that, but this car looks really amazing. How much did it cost?"

Riana asked curiously, admiring the vehicle from the outside.

"Two million credit points."

In this world, universal credit points are used as currency.

For context, an average person earns about a thousand credit points per month.

Riana quickly backed away from the car as if afraid she might scratch it by mistake.

"Two million!! That’s equivalent to twenty years of my salary as a teacher at the academy if I don’t spend a single point!"

She started shouting while looking at the car, which was essentially a moving treasure.

"If you want, I can get you dozens of these in one day."

I bragged a little about the wealth I possessed.

"Really? You won’t go back on your word later. After we get to the capital, we’ll go buy one of my choice."

"Okay, when we get to the capital, remind of that so we can go pick one out for you."

I sat in the driver’s seat while Riana carefully sat next to , admiring the interior.

I started the car and a roaring sound ca from the engine, startling Riana a little.

"Whoooow!"

The car began to speed forward as our destination was the capital.
