The atmosphere of the dining room was quiet, so quiet that even the sound of dropping needles could be heard, but it was comforting for the people sitting in the room. It was not every day they get to enjoy a al peacefully being the head of their respective family businesses.

Zhenyi contemplated for a mont before concluding because calling him Jie was easier than getting shares from him. So what if she had to give in before his stupid demand as long as she was getting sothing more valuable in return. As for calling him Jie, she had to call him after their marriage. Sooner the better.
"Okay! Jie can we discuss the shares now?" She asked him earning a smile from him.

If not for that 22% of the share, the man would have been dead by now and even his dead body was of no use to her.

Who would have thought the two people who despised each other's existence even before the eting, would be enjoying a peaceful lunch followed by a healthy banter. Wasn't it what they call relationship goals? Absolutely not!
After a pause, Zhenyi asked again.
" You are seriously not selling those shares?"
Long Jie pressed his lips to hide his smile before saying, "I gave you a choice, sweetheart."
"Cut the bullshit. Long Jie, we both know, I would never agree to that stupid condition. Moreover, you won't sell them. May I know why?"
Long Jie was about to reply when her ergency phone rang and the other person said sothing that shook her very world from its axis.
