Zhang Boyan hadn't thought one day he would be called in the Tang Palace at an urgent call. Not only the richest man of the country could invite him as a personal doctor and this Lord Ryuu was using him as his personal doctor at his beck and call
If not for giving Alicina a face, he wouldn't have stepped foot in this house ever again. Apart from Alcina, which was an excuse he was giving himself at this ti, he knew he had co in hopes that he would see that woman again.
Then again, he shouldn't be thinking about her at tis like this. She was a married woman with a remarkable husband.
"Dr Zhang, please this way," Feng Siyan said monotonously as he showed Zhang Boyan the way to the guest quarters of the Tang Palace.
They entered a wing where n dressed in black uniforms were standing there in a stiff posture. They were on duty and from their posture he could imagine the rigorous training they went through.
The golden emblem weaved on their uniform indicated that these were elite soldiers under the Tang family. One of the best-trained n under the domination of Lord Ryuu. He wondered why the security of this wing was stricter than the main house.
"How is he behaving now?" Feng Siyan inquired.
"He is going through unbearable pain," A guard who was wearing the sa uniform as the rest of the soldiers replied. "But he didn't stop fighting, instigating our n to beat him. However, as per Lord Ryuu's orders, we are treating him gently. We gave him the painkillers that Madam had given to Lord back then."
"Dr Zhang, I believe you are acquainted with the poison case Mada treated using the dicine developed by you?" Feng Siyan shifted his attention to Zhang Boyan. "We found a teenage boy with the sa poisoning case as Master. Since it's not safe for Madam to co in contact with poisons or any dangerous elent for the ti being, Master instructed to provide you with all the information Mada had saved regarding the poison case. The boy inside is innocent and wrongly implicated. Thus, Master wishes to save him at any cost."
Zhang Boyan nodded as he heard Feng Siyan. He was taken to a room where he studied the poison and the cure before eting the boy. Dressing in a protective suit, he entered the room where the boy was detained.
It didn't look like a detainee's room but a simple room with a bed and all the things needed for basic utility.
His gaze fell on a tall and frail figure sitting on the corner of the bed. As the boy sensed the incoming footsteps, he looked up to et his gaze.
Zhang Boyan smiled at the boy. "Hi I'm Dr Zhang. I will be treating you."
Young Master Jun grunted before looking at her in annoyance.
"Your na, young man? I think I should know your na before we begin the treatnt," Zhang Boyan's smile was as kind as ever.
"I will tell you my na if you succeed in eliminating this pain that I am feeling," Young Master Jun decided to et him halfway. He didn't know what this Lord Ryuu wanted from him but as long as he survived this whole death incident he would be grateful.
Who knew he would stop annoying this Lord's arrogant sister if he was treated by them?
"Sure," Zhang Boyan smiled in satisfaction.
Outside, the wing that was surrounded by soldiers in black uniform were attacked by n in red traditional martial arts dress.
"What's happening?" Feng Siyan who was standing outside the Young Master's room was bewildered.
"We are under attack," One soldier announced but Feng Siyan could see that his side was not trying to kill the attackers but rely defending themselves. As he clearly saw who the second party was, he paused in his action.
What the hell was happening?
Why the special force fighting against the elite force?
And the special force is controlled by no one Master Tang Yuzhang.
"Stop!!" Feng Siyan shouted and everyone stilled.
The red soldiers ford a circle and they stood proud but in an attacking posture. Soon, they took a step back and a man walked forward in a dignified gait.
On glimpsing who appeared, Feng Siyan bowed respectfully. Seeing their commander now, everyone bowed behind him.
"Master Tang Yuzhang," Feng Siyan called out this na respectfully. "I apologize for whatever mistake we unknowingly made but may I ask why the special force is attacking the elite force?"
Tang Yuzhang narrowed his eyes on Feng Siyan's face. "Four hours ago, you seized our man from the hospital forcefully. I wonder why you ordered to abduct a harmless and sick boy?"
Feng Siyan bowed his head once again. "Forgive , Master Tang Yuzhang. It was Master who ordered to detain the boy. He was given the poison and Master wanted to protect the boy."
Tang Yuzhang stilled for a mont. A look of uncertainty flashed through him before he returned to his usual expression.
"It's true that he is sick but the doctors failed to recognize his disease,"Tang Yuzhang said while looking at the sky. "May I ask how Lord Ryu knew that it was a poison?"
"Master was attacked by the sa poison several months back," Feng Siyan revealed. "It was the dicine concocted by the Zhang clan that had saved Master from the face of death. We hope that we will be able to save this boy too."
Tang Yuzhang didn't say anything for a long ti. He then heaved out a sigh as his old eyes moistened. "Feng Siyan, I don't care what doctors you call. I don't even want to know why Lord Ryuu is saving the boy. But all you need to know is that the boy is very special to . He is more valuable to than my life. I had to use two forces to protect him.. And this can give you the idea how important he is to ."
