With this said, Ryuu finally got out of the car and glanced at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Office.
In a second, his deanor changed from a warm brother to sothing else. The man standing outside the car was not her brother whose brown eyes were as warm as a ray of sunshine, but soone who could kill you with a single glance.

She was about to turn her head to look outside the window when she heard him say.

She looked out of the window and saw him and Ming Xiuying together.
Perhaps, she was not a bad choice for her brother. But no matter how good she was, her brother was not marrying for love. Not everyone was as lucky as her and Jie to fall for the one you are married to.

Ming Xiuying had never thought that one day she would be standing at the door of the Civil Affairs office, and would be waiting for the man who was not Huo Yusheng. With a bitter smile, she waited for the man called Ryuu. She had waited all night for Huo Yusheng's call, but it didn't co. She didn't want to marry him after experiencing betrayal once, but she did want to hear his side of the story, at least for the calmness of her raging heart.
'Stop it, Xiuying! He is happy with Anning and you should focus on your future, not on a scum from the past.'
Ming Xiuying put on her sunglasses to hide her teary eyes, but at that mont, her eyes fell on a tall figure heading her way. Her eyes couldn't help but discern the fitted dark black vintage suit which flattered the masculine body underneath. She didn't know yet who that man was, but all she believed was that with the hat on his head complenting the dark suit which he was wearing, he looked like a British nobility. It appeared as he ca out of the British cri thriller drama she watched a few months ago. If not for his phoenix eyes and oriental facial features, she would have thought that he was the main lead of the drama.
The man behind him passed the sunglasses, and in a very dashing manner, he wore them.
This man with the strong aura like that of a dictator was no one else but Tang Ryuu!
Although Ming Xiuying hadn't t him before, she still recognized him.
Lord Ryuu truly lived up to his reputation.
"Lord Ryuu, that's Miss Ming," the subordinate behind him inford.
"Miss Ming, it's a pleasure eting you," Ryuu said as he put forward his hand to shake.
Ming Xiuying had anticipated that Lord Ryuu would be a cold and indifferent man, however, it seed like she was proven wrong.
He wasn't excessively a cold man but he wasn't warm either. He knew how to keep people at arm's length with his polite yet distant deanor.
"The pleasure is all mine, Mr. Tang," Ming Xiuying said, shaking her hand with his.
Ryuu looked at her clearly as she heard him call Mr. Tang, he was not addressed by Mr. Tang, it was either Lord Ryuu for people who knew him or any other alias for those who didn't know him.
Ming Xiuying flinched under his scrutinizing eyes. However, she put up a brave front and said, "Is there sothing wrong, Mr.Tang?"
"No," Ryuu said. She couldn't see the real look in his eyes because the sunglasses were blocking it. "You can call , Ryuu."
"Sure, Ryuu," She said alarmingly. "And please call Xiuying."
"Let's complete the wedding procedure first!" Ryuu spoke with an amused smile.
Ming Xiuying straightened her back in confidence, she had gathered all her courage to do this.
'Yes, she can marry Ryuu. He is not very difficult to deal with. Let's get done with it, Xiuying!'
'Fighting!!'
The couple's wedding procedures were processed quickly. In just fifteen minutes, Ryuu and Xiuying ca out holding their marriage certificates.
She couldn't believe that she was now a married woman.
"Your parents didn't accompany you?" Ryuu asked her.
Ming Xiuying shook her head. "They expressed their wish to invite you for lunch."
"I heard lunch is arranged at Xin residence, is your family alright with it?" Ryuu asked her nonchalantly.
"Yeah, mom was really excited about it," Xiuying's reply amused Ryuu.
He looked above and said in his heart,' How does it feel to get married to your love rival's daughter, mom? Now let's see how you will stop my dear mother-in-law from becoming Zhenyi's stepmom.'
The sky thundered all of a sudden, startling Xiuying.
Ryuu felt soone pressed against his arm. He glanced at her and said," What happened?"
"It seems like it will rain today," Xiuying looked up and said, still pressed against him.
"It won't," Ryuu said and glanced at her. Ming Xiuying quickly retracted.
