With the money he had, Evan decided to purchase a house as he couldn't stay in a hotel for long.
As Evan walked through the leafy pathways of the housing society, he marveled at the tranquil surroundings. Soon, he found the agent he contacted before.
The agent nad Agon led him to a well-maintained building and up to the second floor, where the 2BHK apartnt was.
Upon entering, Evan was greeted by spacious rooms adorned with modern furnishings. The living room boasted ample natural light, while the kitchen glead with stainless steel appliances. The bedrooms were cozy yet stylish, each offering a serene retreat after a long day.
Impressed by the apartnt's charm, Evan engaged in conversations with Agon, eager to learn more about the anities and community. Agon highlighted the society's anities, including a swimming pool, gym, and lush green spaces, perfect for relaxation and recreation.
"Gym…Swimming pool and garden…That's a perk," Evan nodded in satisfaction.
"It is…"
"So, Mr. Evan, what do you think of the apartnt so far?" Agon inquired.
"I'm really impressed, Agon," Evan replied. "The layout is great, and the natural light is fantastic. Can you tell more about the pricing and any additional costs?"
Agon explained, "The rent for this 2BHK apartnt includes maintenance fees for the housing society anities. Additionally, there's a one-ti security deposit equivalent to two months' rent."
"That sounds reasonable," Evan nodded. "And what about parking facilities? I will soon get a car."
"Yes, the apartnt cos with one designated parking spot in the society's covered parking area," Agon confird. "Additional parking spaces can be arranged for a nominal fee if needed. Also, there is strict security so you don't need to worry about those things."
As they continued the tour, Agon pointed out the nearby conveniences, such as shopping centers, restaurants, and public transportation options. Evan felt reassured knowing that everything he needed was within reach.
After a thorough tour and thoughtful consideration, Evan was ready to make a decision.
He negotiated with Agon, discussing terms and finalizing the agreent.
The initial price was listed as 3.5 million rupees but it wasn't set. After a blood-curdling bargaining, Agon helplessly sold it for 3.1 million.
'It seems my profit percentage would be less whatever…sothing is better than nothing."
With excitent Evan handed over the booking amount, sealing the deal for his new ho.
"Great choice, Evan. Welco to the community," Agon said warmly. "I'll make sure all the paperwork is processed promptly, and you'll be able to move in within a few days."
As he left the housing society, Evan couldn't help but smile, knowing that he had found the perfect place to start this new chapter of his life.
"Damn! Owning a ho that was also without a loan feels great."
...
Evan then decided to visit the shop.
The reason why he wasn't working there was because he was shooed away by his team due to wearing a mask.
First, wearing a mask throughout the day was a bit uncomfortable when no one else was wearing it. People gave him a weird look and it affected the sales.
Sotis, he even thought that it would have been good if it was the ti of Covid alas...
After one week of researching recipes, Evan found nurous recipes that could go well. His cooking skills were on the verge of breaking through the advanced ranks and out of every skill, Evan felt that cooking was easier for him to master.
He knows that soon it's going to be famous all around the country.
But Evan knew that he had to take things slowly.
And additionally, during this week he leveled up his skill and stats by exercising.
Also, he started looking for a combat instructor.
For so reason, he felt that he needed to properly learn to defend himself.
Evan called Maria in his office.
"Maria, now that the shop has stabilized the profit we have to expand to new heights. I think it's ti to open another branch as it's too packed here. I want you to find a trustworthy cook and a new barista. I am going to introduce so new recipes and these recipes are going to be our trademark," Evan explained.
"Dear Boss, I know soone that we can trust for the cook position. As for the barista, I can post a call for the position and I can arrange that too. But what recipes are these, boss? We need good snacks and desserts to go well not…"Maria spoke sarcastically.
'You want to introduce new recipes. Do you want people to die of diarrhea?'
"What is that dogshit look?"Evan grumbled but Maria just shrugged it off.
Ignoring her Evan went into the kitchen. After so ti he ca out with so new dishes.
"Is this palatable?"
Evan knew that Maria would ask that while pointing at the food that was on his table.
"You can taste these two recipes I invented."Evan started to explain which imdiately drew Maria's attention.
The first one was a mix of ice cream and cold coffee.
To make this, Evan first took a cup that he coated with caral and then chocolate. After that, he took a scoop of vanilla ice cream and filled half a portion of the cup and the other side with iced coffee that had been mixed with crushed coffee and caral.
And the second one was a cheesecake that had a layer of caral mixed with cream.
Maria first tasted the ice cream coffee by taking a scoop and her eyes went wide instantly. This was the best dessert she had ever taken.
It was so addicting she didn't even realize that she had finished the whole cup in a few monts.
When she ca back to herself, her eyes tingled with excitent knowing that this drink would be trendously famous while thinking that trademark these recipes must be good to earn this na.
After a mont she also tasted the cheesecake and the sa scene all over again as she ate the cake as if she was starving.
"Evan, these recipes are so delicious! We will be famous!" she said excitedly.
"I know, and that's why I want to discuss how we can maximize our profit with these recipes and contract the new employees," Evan said.
After they discussed how to put the new recipes to the public, Maria went to put the plan into practice and talked about this with Sam.
Just as Evan was satisfied with progress, he heard a bell sound that made him smile.
