One of the more experienced hackers leaned back in his chair, his brow furrowed and frowned. "They must have known we'd co for them again. What if they had intentionally let us in during the first attack just to bolster their defenses? They've likely set up a honeypot to gather intelligence on us."
The room fell silent as the gravity of his suggestion sank in. "It's possible," soone finally replied, glancing nervously at the array of blinking lights on their hardware.
"But who has the resources to pull off sothing like this without making a spectacle of it? The sheer computing power required to run real-ti analysis and adaptive security protocols is astronomical."
Just then, a realization struck one of them. "Could it be that the Primordial World source code is an AI in itself? It's renowned for its cutting-edge security features, utilizing advanced machine learning algorithms that continuously adapt to incoming threats. It makes sense if that's what they've implented."
The re ntion of the AI source code sent a ripple of dread through the group.
"If that's the case, we're screwed," the first hacker muttered, leaning forward, a mix of admiration and frustration in his eyes. "Their security alone has already revolutionized the industry. They must be employing a distributed ledger system to log every move we make, making it nearly impossible for us to slip past it while remaining unnoticed."
Before anyone could respond, a leader from the back stood up, his voice steady and resolute. "I'm going to inform the boss about this. We can't waste ti banging our heads against an impenetrable wall. We need a new strategy—one that leverages the vulnerabilities in their human elent rather than their technological defenses."
_____
anwhile, in a sleek office overlooking the city, the CEO of Youkou Technology paced angrily, his fingers curled into clenched fists. In a sudden burst of frustration, he punched the wall.
"What the fuck is going on in Indra?"
He fud, "Isn't it said that their IT infrastructure is quite underdeveloped so why the hell new things are popping out like this out of nowhere and that too in Indra…"
"And as if that alone wasn't bad enough…"
Linwei's face turned pale at the thought of the data. All the data and individual information collected from Indra for all this long had been sent to them, until the past month. Since last month, they realized that they were unable to get the information as it had been blocked.
This didn't happen regarding every one, but rather about certain individuals, but each of these individuals certainly had a strong influence on Indra's politics.
"Just what happened? Did USL Or USR help them?" he muttered.
But that wasn't the worst part. The real problem lood much larger—a problem that fucking way beyond anything they had ever encountered.
"What the hell are they doing with that Primordial World source code? How did they get so far ahead?" His voice rose, incredulous. "This thing is decades ahead… Can sothing like that even be made with the technology in hand…"
Linwei's frustration mounted. "Every fucking NPC of the ga is a thousand tis better than our current top-level AI, which can barely even play the role of monsters. What's up with them using such advanced technology…?"
Ma Chen wiped the beads of sweat off his forehead as he watched the CEO spiral into rage and scream like a madman.
However, how can't he relent to this?
The gars in Daxia were going crazy and rioting. The governnt there didn't want people to play this ga with VR headgear so it was already pressuring companies in their nation to co up with their own VR ga and VR headgear.
And Youkou, which had been the lead in copying the trend, had now struck a wall that was just too hard to overco.
They had even hired rcenaries and sent them after Evan, however, for God Sake they had been so unlucky that they encountered another foe, leading to an explosion that got them all killed.
Later, they found that Evan had gone to Nicobar and stayed there. Thinking that this was their chance, they hired more agents to go there and try to pry open the guy's brain, however… Even before they could reach the coast, they were struck with sothing that killed them without any shred of rcy.
Slowly, fear of Next Gen had begun to take root. But now, a new player had erged: Oga.
One genius was already enough to fuck them over many tis, and now another had entered the scene.
Sadly, little did they know that Evan was behind it all, and if they did, they might have coughed up blood.
"Sir, don't lose your composure. It's not over yet…"
Linwei paused and took a breath to steady himself, but the anger simred still beneath the surface.
The sheer audacity of Oga Gaming to make rapid advancents gnawed at him. He had always prided himself on being a pioneer in the tech industry, yet here he was now, watching while they were not only catching up but even threatened to surpass everything he had built.
"This isn't over," he muttered, determination burning in his eyes. "I'll find a way to take them down. They won't get away with this."
"Hack it!" he yelled.
"Get the world's topmost hacker… From USL… anyone, I don't care. I want to get that damn thing hacked no matter what it costs," Linwei scread loudly.
"I will do as you ordered…"
While the two plotted, a certain angry girl overheard their conversation and cursed under her breath.
[Idiot, you are really daring to poke your hands into the snake's nest again… Just wait… If I don't make you cry tears of blood by the Judgent Day, then I won't be Aurora…]
Little did Linwei know that he had finally managed to strike Aurora's sore spot. A mistake the world would soon fear, forcing them to live a life of primordial age for real…
