As Suri and Evan continued their dance, the atmosphere in the banquet hall gradually filled with a mix of romance and excitent.
The crowd, still buzzing from the recent proposal, watched in awe as Evan and Suri captivated them with their enchanting performance.
Jay, who had fled earlier in fear of his father and his first wife, nearly stumbled when he saw Evan with Suri.
He could practically hear soone screaming, "EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!"
"What the fuck is this?"
"HOWWW?"
It wasn't just Jay who was going through this ntal tribulation. Ken, John, and Jasper also stood beside him, equally stunned by the sight before them.
Just a few monts ago, they had mocked Evan saying that no girls would take a look at him or dance with him but just after a few monts, they had been slapped in the face.
At that mont, a woman with a flirtatious smile approached Jay, "Sir Jay, would like to accompany you to the dance floor."
Jay stared at the woman and then at Suri. His heart nearly burst in jealousy.
On one hand, while Suri's figure was gentle and graceful, the won around him were all vulgar and whore by comparison.
Thinking of this, he looked at the woman and snapped, "Fuck off.."
"What?" the woman's smile cracked and she spoke again…
"Sir Jay, did you mistake for soone…"
"Scram!" Jay barked.
Ken stepped in and tried to console him, "Don't worry, their fun won't last much longer."
As he said that, a sinister glint flashed in his eyes.

Just as the song reached its climax, an unexpected commotion erupted outside.
TAP! TAP! TAP!
"Sir, you can't go and disturb the guests."
"I can. Do you think law and justice are beneath your party and entertainnt?"
The guests began to murmur and glance toward the entrance, where the sound of a few raised voices and hurried footsteps beca increasingly distinct.
The once serene ambience was suddenly disrupted by the clamor, and the music faltered montarily.
A servant rushed into the hall, his face pale with urgency as he swiftly approached Noah and leaned in to whisper sothing.
Noah's expression shifted from surprise to concern as he listened. But before he could react, a group of police officers stepped into the hall, their presence imdiately commanding the room's attention.
Maintaining a calm yet cautious deanor, Noah approached the officers with a friendly but guarded smile. "Gentlen, it's unusual to see you here. What seems to be the problem? We're in the middle of a special celebration."
As Noah approached the officers, he tried to keep the situation under control with a polite smile. The lead officer, however, quickly dispelled any notions of a minor disturbance.
"We have received credible information that drug traffickers are among your guests," the officer stated firmly. "We need to locate and apprehend the individual involved."
Noah's eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you serious? This isn't so kind of joke?"
The officer remained resolute. "This is not a joke. We need to proceed with the investigation. Your cooperation is essential."
Noah's expression hardened, "Are you sure about this? If this happens to be a mistake, you'll be ruining everyone's fun."
The officer t Noah's threatening gaze and spoke with a smile, "We have got the information from reliable sources."
With a reluctant sigh, Noah nodded. "Fine. I'll cooperate with the investigation, but this is highly disruptive."
As the officers began their search, Sonalia, furious at the interruption of her event, stord up to Noah and the officers, her face flushed with anger as she confronted them.
"This is outrageous!" Sonalia exclaid. "You're ruining my event over so baseless accusation? Do you have any idea how important this night is to us?"
One of the officers tried to calm her. "We understand that this is inconvenient for everyone present here, but we're just following the protocol. If you could assist us in finding the suspect, we'll get this sorted as quickly as possible."
Sonalia's frustration boiled over. "You can't just barge in here and throw everything into chaos! You need to explain why this is necessary right now, otherwise, you will face the consequences."
Noah stepped in, placing a calming hand on Sonalia's shoulder. "Sonalia, please. We need to cooperate with the police. They're just doing their job."
Sonalia turned to Noah, her gaze blazing with fury. "You expect to just accept this? You're letting them trample all over our special night!"
Noah's voice was firm but soothing. "I understand that you are upset. But causing a scene won't help. Let's allow the investigation to run its course and we will address this later."
Sonalia glared at the officers, but seeing Noah's calm resolve, she took a deep breath and reluctantly stepped back. "Fine. But this better be over soon."
Noah nodded to her before turning back to the officers. "Please proceed with your investigation. Let's try to keep things as smooth as possible."
As the officers began their search, Noah and Sonalia exchanged a brief, mysterious smile.
From across the hall, Suri's eyes looked at the unfolding scene with suspicion. She felt that sothing was amiss in this, after all, how could she not know the way cops work?
Most of them bow to power and money so would they dare to show up here with a grand entrance on such occasions.
And of all places, in the presence of two influential moguls?
Offending the top brass of the state was way worse than death.
Thinking this, her hands clutching Evan involuntarily tightened with worry and her eyes beca cold, but just then, she felt a soft caress on her palm and saw Evan gently smiling at her.
"Don't worry. Everything is gonna be alright. As good citizens, let's just cooperate…'
Suri blinked, her eyes showcasing her confusion, but noticing Evan's reassuring smile, she remained silent.
