The waitress withdrew her gaze, curled her lip, and looked downward disdainfully. Cao Shiyu huffed but didn’t see the waitress’s expression. She tossed her hair and sashayed away. She was in a good mood, her mouth and eyes all smiling as she returned to the first floor. She glanced upstairs, didn’t linger here, and went straight back.

"Okay." Xiao Fan responded and then left.

Shen Qinglan was talking with Fu Hengyi while the others had already played several rounds of mahjong. Because Fu Hengyi wasn’t joining, there wasn’t a clear winner or loser among the players, with so losing and so winning.
"Indeed, playing mahjong is more interesting when it’s with people of the sa skill level," Gu Yang remarked, having been thoroughly defeated by Shen Qinglan and Fu Hengyi previously. Now playing with Yu Xiaoxuan, he felt unbearably relaxed.

The private room door opened, and a waitress entered with a fruit tray in her hands. She placed the tray on the table but didn’t leave right away, instead occasionally glancing over at Shen Qinglan.
Shen Qinglan, aware of her gaze, looked up, "Is there sothing wrong?" Her eyes and brows softened.
The waitress shook her head, then nodded, hesitated, and then spoke, "Excuse , are you Miss Shen Qinglan?"
Shen Qinglan humd affirmatively, "Yes, I am."
"The thing is, I saw President Shen appeared to be drunk earlier, with a woman helping him up to a second-floor room."
Upon hearing this, Shen Qinglan wasn’t particularly concerned, assuming it was Wen Xiyao. But then the waitress continued, "The lady who helped President Shen upstairs wasn’t the one who ca with him. I’ve seen that lady before, and I know she’s President Shen’s fiancee, but it wasn’t her."
Upon these words, Shen Qinglan’s previously unconcerned expression changed in an instant. She looked at the waitress, "Are you sure?"
The waitress nodded, "Yes, I don’t recognize that woman. She went into a room with President Shen and hasn’t co out."
Realizing the implication, Shen Qinglan exchanged a look with Fu Hengyi, stood up, and so did the others who overheard the waitress. Shen Qinglan said, "Stay here, I’ll deal with this."
The others looked at each other and sat back down.
"Lead the way," Shen Qinglan said to the waitress.
The waitress nodded.

Shen Junyu felt hot, a previously unknown heat engulfing his body. His head was spinning, and shadows kept shifting before his eyes.
"Xi Yao," he called out, but nobody answered.
He yanked his tie loose, tossed it to the floor, and removed his suit jacket, but the overwhelming heat remained. Chen Su entered the bathroom first, grabbed a towel, and gently wiped sweat from Shen Junyu’s forehead.
Shen Junyu seized her hand, opened his eyes to look at her, and Chen Su’s heart jolted in alarm, her eyes panicked and body tensed anxiously. It was only when she heard Shen Junyu call out Wen Xiyao’s na that the warmth in her heart suddenly cooled.
"Do you really like that woman so much?" Chen Su murmured softly while staring at Shen Junyu.
"Xi Yao, is that you?" Shen Junyu’s voice was husky and lacked its usual clarity, but it was tender enough to drown in. Chen Su’s eyes darkened slightly as she touched Shen Junyu’s face, "It’s , Jun Yu."
The icy touch on his face made Shen Junyu close his eyes comfortably, and Chen Su looked at him, then lowered her head.
Just as their lips were about to et, Shen Junyu suddenly opened his eyes and pushed Chen Su away, "You’re not Xi Yao, who are you?"
Caught off guard, Chen Su was pushed directly off the bed, her head hitting the floor hard and seeing stars. But she couldn’t care about that, as she got up from the ground, "Junyu, I am Xi Yao, don’t you recognize ?"

"Which room is it?" Arriving on the second floor, Shen Qinglan asked the female server.
The server pointed to the one in the middle.

When Chen Su t Shen Qinglan’s eyes, she realized she was completely naked and scrambled to drape the clothes from the floor over herself.
"Get out," Shen Qinglan said coldly, and Chen Su bit her lip, looking steadily at Shen Qinglan, her eyes full of pleading.
"If you’re unwilling to leave, I can ask the security to co up and escort you out," Shen Qinglan added.
"Xi Yao," Shen Junyu called out weakly from the bed.
Chen Su’s expression changed slightly, a tear glimred in her eye, and she hurriedly dressed and ran out. Shen Qinglan looked at the flushed Shen Junyu on the bed with a headache and could only call Eden.
Fortunately, Eden’s place was not too far from here, and he arrived quickly by taxi. Shen Junyu was by then tossed into the bathtub by Shen Qinglan and the server.

When they arrived at the room’s door, Eden was waiting there, ensuring no one could take advantage of the situation. Seeing that Shen Qinglan had brought back a woman, he nodded at Shen Qinglan and left straight away.
Shen Qinglan didn’t imdiately open the door to that room but looked earnestly at Wen Xiyao and asked, "Sister Xiyao, do you love my brother?"
