895: Chapter 892: Don’t Always Praise Her 895: Chapter 892: Don’t Always Praise Her “I know you were driven out,” One answered irrelevantly.
What did he an?
Was he mocking her?
“I walked out on my own,” Ye Ranran retorted.
“Or maybe you would have crawled out?” One sneered.
Ye Ranran: “…” Communication impossible, being friends is no longer viable!
Ye Ranran decided to ignore him.
Just as she opened her design notebook, a large hand appeared before her eyes, holding a tube of ointnt lying quietly in its palm.
“It’s for removing scars!” One explained awkwardly.
Ye Ranran’s eyebrows lifted in a smile, “No need.”
One was almost dazzled by that smile, he shifted his gaze slightly, “Why not?”
“I keep it as a reminder to learn from the pitfalls,” Ye Ranran said indifferently.
“The young master will be upset.” Even if he didn’t say it outwardly, he was unhappy inside, “So for the young master’s sake, you should use it.”
Ye Ranran looked at him with surprise, “I didn’t expect that you could be quite persuasive.”
“I’m speaking the truth.
By intentionally keeping it, what do you think goes on in the young master’s mind?” That man, he must be blaming himself for not having protected her well.
“It seems that is indeed the case,” Ye Ranran took the ointnt from One’s hand, “Where did you get this from?
It’s not substandard quality, is it?”
“It’s definitely not a counterfeit product.
Use it tonight, twice a day.”
“Doesn’t it co with an instruction manual?” Ye Ranran picked up the ointnt, and sure enough, there were instructions.
One: “…” He felt like he had done sothing particularly superfluous.
“But I’m still very happy,” Ye Ranran’s eyes curved into a crescent moon.
One’s lips slightly curved, seemingly with a smile.
“It’s settled then, I’ll be leaving first,” One turned to leave.
“Wait, why don’t you stay for dinner?” Ye Ranran invited.
“No, I have things to do, and it’s against the rules,” One walked away quickly, soon disappearing from Ye Ranran’s sight.
“What era are we in that we still follow those old rules?” Ye Ranran muttered.
Bored, she began to sketch, pairing with this period’s ancient drama, she planned to blend elents of ancient tis into this period’s clothing.
She wanted to showcase the profound cultural elents of Country Z through the clothing, for the whole world to see.
Halfway through the sketch, Ye Ranran felt hungry and picked up so snacks from the desk to munch on.
Eating joyfully, Ye Ranran didn’t notice Jun Mochan approaching, until sothing was taken from her arms.
“Hey, I haven’t finished drawing yet, don’t look,” Ye Ranran hurried to snatch it back.
Jun Mochan glanced at it then handed the notebook back to her.
“It’s not bad,” From the still incomplete contours, one could faintly discern the stunning final product.
“Madam’s skills are improving,” She always exceeded his expectations.
“I haven’t finished yet, you praise so quickly, I’ll get arrogant,” Ye Ranran said seriously.
“Be arrogant, Madam, you have the right to be proud.”
Ye Ranran was amused yet dismayed; no wonder Mrs.
Huo had such opinions, with him indulging her like this, she’ll eventually beco too self-important.
“You’re back?
Dinner will be ready soon, where’s the old master?” Mrs.
Huo ca out of the kitchen, looking towards the living room.
“He went to play chess with old war buddies, I’ll give him a call,” Jun Mochan took out his cellphone and dialed the elder Jun’s number.
Recently the elder Jun seed quite busy, rarely at ho, Ye Ranran suddenly realized, she hadn’t had dinner with him for about a week.
“He said he won’t co back for dinner.”
“Grandfather has been really busy lately,” Ye Ranran said with a tinge of regret, feeling that as a younger generation, she should have helped share the burden.
