He had lost a lot of weight; the patient gown hung loosely on him, puffing out with the wind, which would have looked sowhat ethereal in the past.
Now disheveled, all he radiated was shabbiness.
“What happened to you?” Ye Ranran scrutinized him, her brows furrowed enough to trap flies.
She couldn’t say she had fattened him up, but he used to be lively; now he looked neither human nor ghostly.
