"No." Fan Rou was extrely weak, the two words said intermittently.
Her voice was so soft that Fan’s father had to lean in to hear.
"Do you think I can’t find out if you don’t tell ?" Fan’s father’s face was hidden in darkness, making him appear increasingly sinister and ruthless.
"He’s a professor of economics, isn’t he? Quite accomplished and treats you well, I’ve heard you plan to marry him?"
Fan Rou kept her eyes tightly shut, her face showing no excess expression. She lay there quietly as if dead, letting Fan’s father speak to himself.
"It doesn’t matter if you don’t say anything, tonight I’ll have him co to keep you company."
Fan Rou finally opened her eyes.
"As long as you obediently tell what you’ve given to Jun Mochan, I won’t harm him, how about that?"
"I don’t believe you." Fan Rou struggled once more to get the words out.
"It doesn’t matter if you don’t believe , I’ve already given you a chance." Fan’s father stood up: "After today, you’ll have no chance to regret it."
Fan’s father stood up.
Fan Rou reached out her hand, clutching his trouser leg: "You, what are you going to do?"
That sentence seed to exhaust all her strength, her fingers curling slightly, yet not letting go.
"Do what? Naturally, to deal with those who need dealing with, but rest assured, considering you’re my daughter, before disposing of your beloved, I’ll bring him in to see you one last ti."
"No, please, I’m begging you, don’t, let him go."
He can do anything to her, even take her life.
It’s all what she deserves.
But Lan Shao is innocent, he’s done nothing, he shouldn’t suffer these with her.
"Let him go? I’m doing this for you."
Fan’s father slightly lowered his head, looking at her saying: "See how much you love him, I’m letting him accompany you, isn’t that good?"
Fan Rou shook her head incessantly.
"Then you better behave now and tell what you told Jun Mochan."
Only by knowing what hold Jun Mochan has on him, can he quickly co up with a counterasure.
If not, when he’s really caught, he’ll have to play it by ear.
"I really didn’t tell him anything." Fan Rou stubbornly refused to tell him.
She’d done so much, waited for this day, how could she reveal Jun Mochan’s plan to him, so he could sabotage it?
Fan’s father kicked her away in anger: "I’ve given you so many chances, if you don’t take them, don’t bla ."
"But don’t feel bored, I’ll find soone to keep you company."
Who? Who else had he caught? Fan Rou wanted to ask, but unfortunately, she no longer had the strength to ask.
Fan’s father no longer looked at her, striding out.
Fan Rou closed her eyes again, her body aching, she was very tired.
If not for the pain, she would have fallen asleep long ago.
Outside the door, footsteps ca and went, along with whispered conversations.
Phrases like "everything’s ready," "can act at any ti," floated into her ears with the wind.
Fan Rou wanted to inform Jun Mochan, but regrettably, she was powerless.
Soon, the door was opened from the outside again, footsteps slowly approached her from the doorway.
A person was thrown not far from her, and Fan Rou didn’t open her eyes.
Only after the footsteps retreated and the door was shut again, did she slowly open her eyes.
Matted hair covered the person’s eyes, their clothes dirty, with blood stains, Fan Rou couldn’t see clearly, nor distinguish the person by clothes.
As for their build, did she have ti to assess? Not to ntion lying down, her vision was slightly blurry, making it even harder to see clearly.
