Chapter 1967: Chapter 2389: Lies
“Do you think this will make forgive you? No, I won’t forgive you, and even if it did, I wouldn’t follow you, I feel no guilt, not at all.”
“Who’s feeling guilty? I’m not Wen Cai, I don’t care about you.”
Ye Ranran wiped her tears, “I hate people like you the most. If you’re going to die, just die, why drag down with you? Why are you so annoying?”
Ye Ranran said a lot, but Fu Rong didn’t respond.
Feeling defeated, she glanced at Tang Sheng and said, “See, I have no effect on him at all, so bringing here was a mistake.”
“Can’t you say sothing sweet? Like telling him you’ll stay by his side if he wakes up.”
She said a lot of useless and annoying things; it’s no wonder he doesn’t wake up.
“I won’t say it.” He can just give up. Whether he wakes up or not, she will go back.
Tang Sheng was about to say sothing when the electrocardiogram suddenly fluctuated violently. Tang Sheng shouted, “There’s a reaction, there’s a reaction, quickly say sothing to him.”
Ye Ranran thought for a mont, then poked his face, “I’m here now, can you feel it? If you can, give so response.”
Fu Rong’s fingers moved, and his eyelashes fluttered.
Ye Ranran doubted her own eyes, and stared without blinking. Fu Rong didn’t disappoint her and moved again.
“He seems to be waking up,” Ye Ranran said excitedly.
“Quickly, say a few more words to him.”
He knew bringing her here was the right thing to do. His body had long since recovered, but he hadn’t woken up, obviously because he didn’t want to.
“Hurry up and wake up,” Ye Ranran thought for a mont and said.
“Can’t you give him so comfort?” Tang Sheng was speechless.
Can’t you just say a few comforting lies to trick him for a mont?
Do you not understand the concept of a white lie?
Of course, Ye Ranran understood, but she didn’t want to do it. If Fu Rong couldn’t hear, it wouldn’t matter, but now he can hear.
If he took it seriously, what would happen if he really wanted her to stay in the future?
If it were sothing she could do, Ye Ranran wouldn’t mind saying it, but knowing it’s impossible, what’s the point of saying it?
“Your heart is really cruel,” Tang Sheng snapped.
Ye Ranran was silent.
He said she had a cruel heart, but if she truly was cruel, she wouldn’t be here.
There on the other side were her husband and child, yet she ca to see Fu Rong, only because he saved her life.
If not for that, she wouldn’t even have co for a glance, this was the limit of what she could do.
If she had to lie, she simply couldn’t do it.
Ye Ranran’s hand was just by the bedside, only a step away from Fu Rong’s hand. She hadn’t noticed it just now, and when she did, she was about to withdraw it.
A large hand quickly grasped hers.
Fu Rong’s hand was big and warm, Ye Ranran’s, in contrast, was small and cool.
She never knew he had such a hot hand, his dry palm reluctant to let go.
She wondered if his heart was as warm as his hand.
Just as the thought erged, Ye Ranran mocked herself with a laugh, how could it be? If it were really like that, things with Wen Cai wouldn’t have ended this way.
Wen Cai pursued him for so long, yet he remained unmoved, which showed he had the coldest heart in the world.
Almost the second Fu Rong grabbed her, Ye Ranran wanted to break free, but Tang Sheng glared at her, eyes full of warning.
Ye Ranran endured it.
“You’re here?” At so point, Fu Rong’s eyes had opened.
