"She doesn’t tell you because she doesn’t want you to worry, and this isn’t the first ti she’s done this, so don’t worry," Jun Mochan said calmly.

Ye Ranran got annoyed hearing his tone, "She’s not your friend, of course you wouldn’t worry."

"What’s going on now? Why are you taking it out on ?" Jun Mochan said helplessly.

Ye Ranran grabbed his collar and pulled him closer, "Tell , do you know sothing?"

"What could I possibly know? You know everything I know, don’t you?" Jun Mochan looked at her with a smile.

"I always feel like you two are conspiring together," Ye Ranran squinted her eyes, scrutinizing him.

"You’re overthinking it. She’s your best friend; it would make more sense for her to be closer to you," Jun Mochan patted her head, "Don’t overthink it."

"Boring." Ye Ranran let go of him.

"She knows her limits, don’t worry too much, hurry up and sleep," Jun Mochan said.

Ye Ranran pulled out the completed drawing from her notebook and waved it in front of Jun Mochan, "Look, is it pretty?"

Without thinking, Jun Mochan nodded, "Mm, it’s pretty."

"Pretty my foot, you didn’t even look."

How annoying n are when they’re like this. You buy a new dress, ask if it’s pretty, and he just says ’yes, pretty’ while looking down.

Completely perfunctory.

"Anything my wife draws is, of course, pretty," Jun Mochan took the drawing.

"Why say such nice things when you’re just being perfunctory?" She didn’t care whether he looked at it or not.

Ye Ranran went to grab it, but Jun Mochan held the paper high.

"Are you planning to use this for the international competition?"

"Mm, is there any problem?" Ye Ranran asked.

"I was just thinking, wouldn’t it be better designed as a dress?" Ye Ranran particularly favors skirts, and this ti she designed a skirt again.

"The pattern is too complex, so the top needs to be simple. Otherwise, it would be too ugly. But if it’s too simple, it won’t be stunning, so I simply designed it as a skirt," Ye Ranran explained her design concept.

"For the materials, I plan to use the simplest cotton and linen. Away from the bustling city, wearing a childhood cotton and linen dress feels like returning to the most innocent tis. That’s the original intention behind designing this dress."

When she first saw that scene, that’s what she thought in her mind.

Standing in the peaceful countryside, at sunset, colors of radiant red spill over the lake surface. Amidst such magnificent colors, fishern row their boats slowly toward the shore.

Ducks swam ashore, flapping their wings, heading ho.

Such scenes are never seen in the city, yet they are what many people yearn for.

In such a place, one’s mind also becos much calr, no longer craving power, wealth, nor trapped in endless desires.

"The way you talk makes want to see it too, to see if that place is really as beautiful," Jun Mochan’s eyes were filled with longing.

He genuinely wanted to see it. Actually, if it wasn’t impossible to leave, he would have liked to go as well.

"It is truly that beautiful," Ye Ranran nodded affirmatively.

"Then next ti, take to see it, just the two of us," Jun Mochan handed the drawing back to her, "It’s fine this way, you’ll definitely get a good ranking, don’t worry."

"I hope soone can appreciate it," Ye Ranran smiled slightly.

She showcased the clothes on the computer, sent them to the submission mailbox, and then she just had to wait for news.
