"Hmm, I know." Lan Shao finally let out a sigh of relief.

Ye Ranran’s mind eased.

Jingyang High School, finally arrived.

Jun Mochan watched Ye Ranran go inside, and only left after he couldn’t see her figure anymore.

The test had already started, and Ye Ranran and Lan Shao were sitting in the reception room on the first floor waiting for two people.

The test was on the second floor of the office building, and it was only nine-thirty now, another hour until it ended.

Ye Ranran wandered around but couldn’t find Zhu Hongbin, feeling a bit disappointed, "I didn’t see him, not sure where he went."

"Maybe he’s upstairs, you should sit for a bit."

Ye Ranran sat across from him, and just when Lan Shao was about to chat about sothing, the principal rushed over.

As it turned out, they were prepared when they heard Ye Ranran was coming, just waited a long ti but she didn’t show up.

They thought she wasn’t coming, but just as they returned to the office, they heard from the gatekeeper that the person had arrived and was in the reception room.

That got him to rush over with people again.

Upon eting, naturally, there was the usual small talk, and the principal suggested showing Ye Ranran around the campus.

After touring the teaching building, they walked to the building opposite it. Looking at the sun and wind-worn and slightly dark wall, Ye Ranran said, "This building is a bit old."

The principal was just worried about how to steer the conversation in this direction when unexpectedly Ye Ranran brought it up herself, and he quickly nodded, "Yes, this is the laboratory building, which students usually use for experints. It’s several decades old, naturally worn out, but with limited funds, we’ve never been able to rebuild it."

The principal sighed helplessly.

If it were soone else, they’d probably wave their hand grandly and say they wanted to invest money.

"Is the principal saying that the funding the school receives is too little?" Ye Ranran’s tone was a bit dangerous.

Saying funding is scarce is akin to saying Jun Mochan is stingy, the two are entirely equivalent.

"No, I didn’t an that, madam, please don’t misunderstand." The principal quickly wiped his sweat.

He was at a loss for words when confronted by Ye Ranran.

"I can understand the principal’s deep care for students. How about this, if the top science and arts students of the year co from your school, I can allocate twenty percent more funding," Ye Ranran thought and said.

"Of course, it should be fair, right? If they co from elsewhere, then the funding will go to those schools."

Looking at those old teaching buildings, Ye Ranran still felt uneasy in her heart, not expecting such old buildings to exist at this ti.

"But ugly words first, if I find out that the funding wasn’t used where it should be..."

"It won’t, madam, rest assured, even if you give a hundred guts, I wouldn’t dare."

That makes sense.

When they returned to the first floor, Lan Shao was puzzled, "Why spend this money?"

Doesn’t the national treasury have a lot of money?

"The building is too old, it’s no harm in fixing it, and as for the money, there’ll always be so." Such a reward is a form of encouragent to contribute more talents to the country.

Actually, it’s not a loss.

As for the money, squeeze and there will always be so.

After sitting for a while, the village belle and her brother ca down from upstairs, their faces clearly brimming with joy.

Seeing Ye Ranran and Lan Shao actually waiting here, the two were both shocked and delighted.

"Madam, Teacher Lan." Zhu Hongbin greeted.

He naturally knew Ye Ranran’s na; even if he didn’t know before, after the military parade ceremony, he certainly did.

But since everyone called her ’madam,’ he followed suit, after all, not everyone could call her by her na.

"How did the exam go?" Ye Ranran had a faint smile on her face.
