Ask her how long she needs to prepare, and if there’s not enough ti, communicate with the director.

The enthusiasm was so overwhelming that Ye Ranran couldn’t take it.

Wang Lan and Baisha cautiously pushed open the door, both urging each other forward but neither moving imdiately.

Ye Ranran moved her eyes from the computer and said to the two, "Co in."

Her expression was calm, her eyes shimring, without the slightest sign of anger.

Wang Lan found herself unable to understand her at all.

She walked forward with unease.

Baisha didn’t dare to lift her head from start to finish.

"I heard you contacted Wei Ren’s side, right? Tell the result," Ye Ranran lowered her head again and looked at the script.

She’s long mastered the art of multitasking.

Neither of them spoke, and Ye Ranran’s brow finally furrowed: "Is my presence too low, or do I speak too quietly, so you can’t see or hear?"

Her tone was cold as a knife, like the December wind, scraping across their bodies.

"Baisha has talked it over with them; they don’t plan to pursue responsibility, as long as we provide so compensation," Wang Lan said.

Ye Ranran’s lips curved, "Oh, really? So Baisha handled it all from start to finish? Did you ever show up?"

"Baisha communicated with them well, so I didn’t go over again." Under Ye Ranran’s oppressive gaze, Wang Lan finished her sentence.

"Alright, now I ask you, are you Baisha’s direct supervisor?" Ye Ranran asked lightly.

The question was as light as willow fluff, without any weight, yet Wang Lan felt afraid.

She shook her head.

Previously she was, but after she ca back, she wasn’t anymore.

"Then what right do you have to make decisions for ? Also, Baisha, let ask you, didn’t I have Zhao Xiao tell you not to go, did she tell you?"

"But the issue started because of , of course I need to resolve it," Baisha retorted defiantly.

Ye Ranran found it laughable and tossed the compensation paper at her face, "Compensation, money on the table, is this your solution? A three-year-old could co up with that sort of solution."

"Is there any other better way?" Baisha muttered in grievance.

"Not convinced? Let ask you, with no costus, Wei Ren’s side won’t suffer losses. It’s not like he’s a big-na singer; a concert ticket only sells for sixty or seventy thousand, but we fork out money and, in any case, a single announcent from the other side and the fans are angry. It’s a minor matter of bla, who else would dare approach us?" Ye Ranran’s face, once smiling, was overshadowed, her tone unavoidably harsh.

"This matter is our fault," Baisha admitted softly.

Ye Ranran looked disappointed: "You only admitted your mistake, without thinking of ways to resolve it. Forget it, leave now, and also, don’t let find out about lying again today, or else you’ll be out with ."

"Yes," Baisha left with her head down.

Wang Lan was still standing there with her head down, Ye Ranran waved her hand, "You get out as well."

"Sister Ran, this is my fault; I’m willing to deeply reflect. Regarding resignation, could it..."

"Didn’t you look down on ? Working under felt wrong for you, I can’t force you, right?" Ye Ranran looked down at her with a lofty posture, her tone full of sarcasm.

Wang Lan was rendered speechless.
