The hospital administration was quite accommodating; upon knowing about his engagent, they imdiately gave him the day off.
Just like that, the three of them set off energetically towards the hotel.

"By the way, will your parents be back by then?" Luo Qi asked.
"They are coming, but not until Friday." They get off on Friday, so they’ll be here just in ti for Sunday, taking only Monday off.
"The plan sounds good, can’t they take a few more days off?" This changed Luo Qi’s perspective on his parents.
If it were other parents, they might have rushed over upon hearing their son’s getting married, right?
"They’re a bit busy lately and can’t leave, plus coming early wouldn’t be much use; I don’t have ti to accompany them." Lin Yan said nonchalantly.
Luo Qi gave him a sideways glance, "Do you think I’m invisible?"
If he’s busy, she can accompany them.
"No worries, there will be plenty of chances in the future." Lin Yan was still slightly concerned.
He feared that without him around, his parents might make things difficult for Luo Qi; if he were there, he could diate if anything happened.
Luo Qi caught the underlying aning in his words, feeling touched, she held his hand and said, "Your parents are very nice, they wouldn’t make it hard for , don’t worry."
"They really have things to attend to, don’t overthink it." Lin Yan’s lips curved into a noticeable smile, with laughter in his eyes.
Luo Xuan turned back to see them exchanging glances and rubbed the goosebumps on his arms, "Please, not in public, don’t torture the single people."
"If you can’t take it, find a girlfriend," Luo Qi retorted.
"Maybe in a few years, I’m not in a rush now." Luo Xuan said indifferently.
"Sorry, I have to take a call." Lin Yan interrupted their conversation.
He didn’t avoid them, answering the call directly.
"Still haven’t decided, we’re checking now."
"Send the address, and give a good deal."
"Not many people, just setting up forty to fifty tables."
"Alright, it’s settled, I’ll head over to take a look now."
