He quickly let her go, placing his hands in his pockets, and looked at her with a very relaxed posture, "When did you get back? Didn’t want to catch up with old friends?"
Ye Ranran glanced at the people behind him, noticed their calm expressions, and guessed that this was indeed his usual way of interacting with people, so she didn’t think much of it.
People in the entertainnt circle tend to be open, and a ceremonial hug is indeed nothing to overthink.

Ye Ranran didn’t want to refuse either, as she was Huacan’s designer, naturally responsible for the company’s artists, so she nodded, "Sure, send the info later, I’ll get in touch with you in a few days."
He seed very pleased with her words, a smile spilling from his eyes, "Alright, I’ll have my agent contact you later; it’s been a while, I’ve really missed you."
It was the kind of missing one feels for a regular friend, after all, he got along pleasantly with Ye Ranran.
Ye Ranran was very insightful, able to sketch out what he pictured in his mind, sothing others couldn’t do.
Moreover, they got along quite well, and she didn’t gaze at him with infatuation like others.
