Chapter 1622: Chapter 2045: In Charge
Jun Mochan rubbed his nose, showing an innocent expression for the first ti. It takes two hands to clap, after all. If she hadn’t tried to seduce him, this sort of thing wouldn’t have happened.
To be honest, he had no self-control in front of her.
Ye Ranran buttoned up her shirt. She had already been seen, and panicking was no help, so she was relatively calm.
Her mind whirred as she thought about how to explain things to Jun Xiaobao.
Unexpectedly, Jun Mochan placed his hand by his mouth and coughed, saying, “Your mom got bitten by a mosquito just now, and I was just helping her put on so ointnt.”
What a terrible excuse, honestly, Ye Ranran thought to herself.
Jun Xiaobao’s eyes, as black as grapes, were filled with suspicion. His gaze flitted between Ye Ranran and Jun Mochan as he asked uncertainly, “Really? Mommy?”
“Yeah, it’s true. Daddy wouldn’t lie to you.” Ye Ranran, with no way to back down, could only follow along with Jun Mochan’s nonsense.
“Weren’t you going to listen to a story? How about Mommy tells you one now?” Ye Ranran quickly walked over and took the book from his hands.
“Okay, Mommy’s the best.” Jun Xiaobao was quickly distracted.
Ye Ranran let out a sigh of relief.
After successfully coaxing him to sleep, she wiped the sweat off her forehead.
When she returned to the room, a certain soone was already sitting on the bed leisurely flipping through a magazine.
“Oh, by the way, there’s a show in a couple of days. Let’s go see it together,” Jun Mochan said, not lifting his head.
Ye Ranran suddenly rembered he was still the CEO of J.C. and thought it must be an event he needed to attend, so she didn’t overthink it and nodded: “Sure, remind then.”
“Hmm.” Jun Mochan put the magazine back in its place and got off the bed.
Ye Ranran thought he was going to the study, so she didn’t think much about it and headed to the wardrobe to grab her pajamas.
Unexpectedly, she turned around and bumped into a wall of flesh.
Ye Ranran frowned: “Why are you blocking my way?”
Was he out of his mind? With such a big path, why did he have to stand right behind her?
And he should have seen that she was holding pajamas, right? So why was he still here?
To be honest, Ye Ranran had never taken a bath with soone else, nor did she like it. She preferred to have a bathtub all to herself.
Besides, when two people take a bath, is that really just taking a bath? She’s not Jun Xiaobao, so easily fooled.
“Go take a bath,” Jun Mochan said expressionlessly.
“In that case, you go first.” Ye Ranran didn’t argue with him, and was about to put her pajamas back when, unexpectedly, Jun Mochan picked her up.
Ye Ranran let out a surprised gasp and instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck: “What are you doing?”
“You just seduced . Aren’t you going to take responsibility?” Jun Mochan said with a tone of grievance, yet his feet swiftly moved towards the bathroom.
At this point, Ye Ranran didn’t even feel like struggling. She knew Jun Mochan wouldn’t let her off easily.
That day, the two of them took a bath together for the first ti, and it lasted four hours.
By the ti they were finished, Ye Ranran was so tired she couldn’t even lift a finger.
She couldn’t even rember when she got back to bed.
The next day, she naturally woke up late. Jun Mochan was already gone, and she vaguely rembered he had a eting today.
Ye Ranran rubbed her forehead as she looked at the red marks on her body, and her mouth twitched.
Living like this, working sporadically, she couldn’t even handle a proper job.
She hugged the blanket, sitting dazedly on the bed.
Being a housewife was sothing she was definitely unwilling to do, so should she just compromise a bit for him?
