"Alright then, it’s getting cold, you should take more clothes with you. You know what, let pack for you." Luo Qi walked towards Luo Xuan’s room.
Luo Xuan quickly stopped her: "No need, I can do it myself, sis, I’ve grown up, I know how to take care of myself now, so don’t worry."
Luo Qi halted, her smile sowhat forced: "Well then, take good care of yourself, and rember to call if anything cos up, no, call back tomorrow."
"Got it, got it." Luo Xuan made an OK gesture to her and then closed the door.
Inside the room, there wasn’t a trace of impatience on his face, more a sense of helplessness. He knew that ever since that incident, Luo Qi had beco overly cautious, always afraid that he might get hurt.
And afraid that if he left, she would be all alone in this world.
Luo Xuan understood this feeling all too well; just like he was fearful sothing might happen to her.
He and she were each other’s support and dependence, the closest people to each other in the world.
Outside the door, Lin Yan patted Luo Qi on the shoulder: "Don’t worry, he’s a boy, he knows how to protect himself."
"Yeah, I understand." It was just a bit of subconscious worry on her part.
She knew she was overthinking it, but it wasn’t sothing she could just control at will. Emotions aren’t switches that can be turned on and off whenever one pleases.

Ever since that day the incident happened, Luo Qi had beco distant. He tried to get closer, but she was always out early and back late, seldom seen.
On rare occasions when he saw her, with a face of exhaustion, he didn’t feel right to say much.
This was the first ti they had been so close together since that incident, and in such an intimate posture.

She’s slowly standing up and regaining her confidence, though the process is slow.
"Alright, go get ready, I’ll go make breakfast for you." Lin Yan patted Luo Qi’s head.
The pace of life here is quite fast, so Luo Qi got up early, since there’s exactly a 12-hour ti difference with Ye Ranran’s place, and she didn’t want to disturb Ye Ranran in the morning.
She could only get up a bit earlier to call her.
