“Ranran.” Jun Mochan walked over with an umbrella, intending to lift her up, but Ye Ranran clung to Song Ze, refusing to let go.
“Please save him, can you save him?” Ye Ranran begged.
Jun Mochan looked at Song Ze in her arms, his expression filled with sorrow. “Ranran, he’s dead.”
“No, I don’t believe it. How could he be dead?” She couldn’t accept it; she didn’t want him to die.
Ye Ranran shook her head repeatedly.
“He’s dead now, not breathing,” said Jun Mochan as he tried to pull her away.
Ye Ranran’s hands clutched tightly, holding Song Ze firmly. “No, I don’t believe it. You’re not a doctor, how can you say he’s dead?”
Jun Mochan didn’t want to argue further and forcefully took Song Ze from her arms. Ye Ranran didn’t resist; instead, she covered her stomach and fell to the ground.
Seeing the fresh blood flowing from her lower body, Jun Mochan beca terrified and swiftly picked her up and left.
Looking at Song Ze lying alone in the rain, Ye Ranran reached out her hand. He was so particular about cleanliness. How could she let him lie there, with the rain so dirty and the ground covered in dust?
And the ground was so cold; he must be uncomfortable.
Jun Mochan put Ye Ranran into the car and, seeing her gaze fixed in Song Ze’s direction, he understood. “I’ve already sent for soone. They’ll be here soon and will take him away.”
The Song Family probably also sent soone, and they might arrive even sooner.
Pain caused Ye Ranran to curl up, biting her lips and enduring with all her might.
“If it hurts, cry out, don’t bear it,” said Jun Mochan.
It hurt everywhere, but her heart hurt the most.
Jun Mochan drove Ye Ranran to the hospital as fast as he could.
“The water has broken, get ready for delivery,” the doctor put on the gloves.
The operating room doors closed swiftly, leaving Jun Mochan outside.
He paced anxiously back and forth as the sounds of Ye Ranran’s anguished cries finally emanated from within.
