1204: Chapter 1227: Don’t Move Rashly 1204: Chapter 1227: Don’t Move Rashly Ah Chuan was about to argue, but then he thought about it—Lin Yan had been watching over him all day too.
He needed to rest as well, so it might be better if he ca back in the afternoon.
That way they could take turns, and maybe he’d even get a chance to spend so ti alone with Luo Qi.
“Okay,” he agreed.
“Finally, the eyesore has left,” Luo Xuan glanced at Ah Chuan’s retreating figure.
Luo Qi glared at him, “Enough, if you’re going to talk, then talk.
Don’t be so passive-aggressive.”
“I just can’t stand the sight of him,” Luo Xuan said, anger raising his voice significantly.
Luo Qi felt the pain in her wound intensify, as if soone had strewn a thick layer of salt on it.
“He was the one who took to the hospital yesterday, and he stayed with all night.
Shouldn’t you say ‘thank you’ to him?”
“It’s not like I asked him to stay,” Luo Xuan muttered.
“Yes, you didn’t ask him to stay.
He did it because he’s too ddleso, right?” Luo Qi also raised her voice, which tugged at her wound, turning her face instantly pale.
“Sister, what’s wrong?
Did I say sothing wrong?
I apologize,” Luo Xuan stood up, wanting to check but not knowing where to start, “Wait here, I’ll go call the doctor.”
The doctor arrived quickly and saw blood on Luo Qi’s wound.
He frowned, “The wound was just stitched; don’t move around, or we’ll have to stitch it again.
You’re the one who will suffer.”
Luo Qi hung her head, obediently taking the scolding.
“Nowadays, young girls just don’t know what’s what.
Can’t even sit still.
Is it really that uncomfortable to sit on the bed?” the doctor complained as he wrote in the dical record.
“It’s not like I did it on purpose,” Luo Qi defended herself weakly.
“Everyone says that when they make a mistake.
Anyway, go ahead and thrash about.
If it splits, I’ll just have to sew you up again.
At worst, I’ll just add another stitch to your belly.
With one more scar, I guess you’ll never have to worry about wearing crop tops again.”
“I never wear crop tops anyway.”
Doctor: “…”
After dropping the line “then go ahead and thrash about,” the doctor left in a huff.
Not long after, Lin Yan returned from outside, carrying two takeout boxes in his hands.
“Here, eat this,” Lin Yan handed the pork rib and lean at porridge to Luo Xuan.
“Thank you, Big Brother Lin,” Luo Xuan happily accepted it.
Luo Qi watched eagerly as Lin Yan held the other portion, only realizing she was hungry when she slled the aroma.
Her stomach was about to start growling.
Lin Yan opened the lid, and apart from a few floating green vegetable leaves, there was nothing else.
Luo Qi looked again carefully, still nothing.
“Vegetable porridge?” Luo Qi asked hesitantly.
“Mhm,” Lin Yan blew on it, “Let feed you.”
“Isn’t this too bland?” She hadn’t eaten anything this tasteless in a long ti; it would seem flavorless.
“Do you still want to eat at with your stomach damaged?” Lin Yan looked at her with a half-smile.
Luo Qi closed her mouth silently.
Actually, she wanted to say that at wasn’t that tasty, and she hadn’t had vegetables in a long ti.
Having them occasionally was quite nice.
After drinking the porridge, Lin Yan lifted Luo Qi’s blanket.
Startled, Luo Qi subconsciously reached out, but Lin Yan grabbed her shoulders to prevent her from moving.
After inspecting the wound, anger appeared on Lin Yan’s face for the first ti, “If you don’t want to scar, then stop moving around.”
“Oh, okay,” Luo Qi nodded, lowering her head like a ek wife.
It wasn’t what she wanted, and it wasn’t intentional.
Because of her injury, Luo Qi couldn’t attend Ye Ranran’s wedding, so she asked Luo Xuan to give Ye Ranran a call.
